Ok - I just caught up :)

Meeta Ma - seriously - duuuhh/what? Couldnt she have finished dressing and then be ready? 15 minutes is not waaay tooo early. Navya not being ready is OK but her mom and her brother! Frankly - it was rather pathetic... na!

Now poor ANYA - make a bad impression and his family will never let Anant forget they had to wait for the hostess. !!

I think we are in for another roller coaster ride guys...

Agree Dee, why was Meeta running so late too?? She should have been at the door to receive her samdhis to-be if nothing else. Her casual attitude totally shocked me today.

Why was she trying to teach Navya how to make samosas until the last minute, esp. on such an important day. Totally nonsensical IMO.

Did not care for Navya's wish of preparing the samosas till the last minute either. Her wanting to wash her hair of all things while Anant & fly are sitting in the living room was so stupid too. If she had not wanted to put on make-up then why did she go to the parlour in the first place?? Wasn't it kind of late in the day for her to act like a devi again and remove all her make-up??

And the thing that irritated me no end, was the way she said she had left her jhumkas in the kitchen. We all know, Navya has a dozen, if not more, jhumkas, so what was the need to delay further and send Appy looking for them in the kitchen?? Couldn't she wear another one??

As I said in another post, this whole episode seemed completely fake to me. They tried to be funny, but failed miserably IMO.

If the Bajpayees are upset at having to wait today, then I honestly do not blame them.

Geeta - I SOOO Agree with you. I unlike some others - found nothing funny at ALL in today's episode - I dont even wanna see it again😭

Would have been sooo terrific - if the Bajpayees had realized ghar tho chota hai magar dil badi hai :) on hte part of Mishras - not a chaotic family!!!!

Was today's epi a filler by the way. Coz i could not make sense of it. It was too chaotic to my mind and am still trying to decipher it.

What happened here? Mishras due to our impatient Majnu knew the reason for the Bajyapees coming to their house so why wait till the last minute. Was this not an important day for them? I cannot understand why both Meeta and Navya had to make samosas at the last minute. What was the reason for the delay? I can understand Navya going to the parlour and getting upset when her outfit was torn coz she wanted to make an impression on her future inlaws but why did she have to cook now. In what way making only samosas impress them.? And the strange thing to me was even after hearing the bell and knowing it coudl be only them Navya went to make more samosas. Hari Om Prabhuji.

And Meeta I failed to understand her completely. Why wait till the last minute. No doubt they were 15 minutes early but it was only 15 minutes early not 1 hour early.

Today's epi in Mishra's house did not make any sense to me. Oh well hopefully tomorrow is better.

Navya's family knew that their guests were arriving at 5:00pm, so they should have had everything ready by noon at the latest! It's not like the Bajpai's were coming over for dinner - the snacks could have been ready earlier!

And why on earth did it take the WHOLE day for Navya to get ready at the salon? We saw Navya being dropped off to school, then the girls taking her to the salon as soon as she got to school...which means that her hair and makeup took the whole day? Getting your nails done, a facial, your hair done and your make up takes a maximum of 4 hours - AT THE MOST!! So her arriving home and then still not being ready by4:00pm seemed completely non sensical!

The jhumka scene was another nonsensical scene! You're right in that we all know how many pairs of jhumkas Navya has! And who takes off their earrings in the kitchen? First, that's weird, and secondly gross! That too when you're cooking...uhh tori si tameez please!!! lol!

Bloopers aside, I hope that the Bajpai's change their mean taunting ways - Navya and her family are much too sweet to deserve their ill treatment! Here's hoping that they'll change their ways and become nicer people!

Yeah, I agree with everything you said, totally idiotic episode at the Mishras. The only saving grace was the scene at the Bajpayees. Loved Majnu selecting a saree for his mom and all. The way he hung his head in disappointment and accepted w/o complaining when BD stopped him from coming along was really cute as well. Other than that, the episode was total bakwaas.
