meeta is not at fault...infact nobody is at fault neither navya nor anant..it is d situation which is making her react like dis..be in her shoes n think..is she really wrong..she believed in her daughter, she thought of her asas her best friend who shares each n everything..n now she has realised her daughter n her only friend has lied to her abt d biggest thing of her life..she is HURT..aaj ek maa ka dil toota hai.. I cried wen she said to deepak..mujhe dar lagta hai KAHIN HUMARI NAVYA PHIR SE GUM NA HO JAYE...one more thing she was not angry coz navya is in love..she is angry coz she lied to her n hide d truth from her..remember APPY'S REACTION ..wen she knew abt AnYa...but wen navya poured her heart out to her she nonot only understood her but also helped AnYa..so fikur not guys..once navya will admit her feeling to her mother she will undestand n feeling as no one can understand a child as a mother does 😊

Fine she is nt at her fault on one side she says navya her best friend
so whre the friendship goes without knowing the truth of their love without knwing the anant!!
without understanding her daughter
she just warn her daughter to stay away frm the boy to whom she love

I completely agree...this is how a mom will react when she feels her daughter has lied to her and broken her trust. you cannot expect her to be all understanding and convincing so soon..she is hurt, she is angry...not so muc hbecause she is in love..that is the second question..for now she is hurt..because she was kept in dark...she needs time to understand things...i guess once navya will talk to her and share every bit..she will feel a little tiny bit better...then she will react abt the love issue...I hope she supports ANYA...i have my fingers crossed, no with Deepu being in the pic..it all seems a lot more difficult...

I agree...Meeta is absolutely justified in behaving the way she does...no mother for that matter would ever want to go thru the situation she is in...no Mother will tell her daughter go ahead and meet ur bf...she is right...it will take sometime and am sure Anant will win her heart too ...but terrible times for AnYa in store for sometime atleast :(

Absolutely
Meeta is hurt and therefore will act as a strict mom initially. But eventually she'll understand her once there is a heart-to-heart conversation. But she needs some time.

I too agree.

Meeta is not at fault for thinking and reacting that way. Think of it from her POV. She has this child her gudiya who has never told lies, always followed her parents desires and wishes and did not talk to guys and now suddenly is changing in front of her. She asked to go to picnic, started behaving different at home, sometimes crying, sometimes laughing. She is constantly in her room either on the net or on the phone( granted it could be to Ritz or Appy too). She has a doubt about her and the doubt became real for her on the birthday nite. A mother's instinct is always real. She got her older daughter involved only to breathe a sigh of relief when renu said that all is fine.

Imagine her hurt, dejection, sadness when she saw the card and more so when she sees Anant on the webcam saying ILU.

Which mother would not demand these things. Which mother would sit and rationalize and say that all is ok. A person's first reaction is denial and then anger and then acceptance.

She will accept Anant in the end but it will take time

Loved the way she acted these emotions.

Sorry for the long post but being a mother myself I think I would have done the same to my daughter as Meeta did today.
