Hi everyone! I think today's episode was really enjoyable, especially because the pessimist in me thinks that probably it's time for serious stuff, guessing from the precap...

Anyway, coming to my topic - when Anant was reading out his shayari today, did anyone think (apart from thinking how sweet/romantic, what shampoo does Shaheer use, etc etc) - well, did anyone think that the shayari was, well, not that great? Ok, ok, before you start throwing stuff at me, I agree totally this is a 19-year old writing poetry probably for the first time etc etc but still...

And then I remembered our very own Manoj from the forum (for the uninitiated few/any, Manoj has his shayari corner summarising each day's episode in shayari)... And I thought, arre, Manoj would've done a nice job with this shayari stuff!

So Manoj, once you get back to the forum, please draft your version of the shayari :-)

By the way, both Anant and Navya are a bit, well, less than creative sorts aren't they (looking at their drawing/shayari/card-making skills):-) Sorry that's mean, na? I still love them and they do have other super-human powers to compensate (like climbing buildings, squeezing through miniscule windows, appearing invisible etc etc)...

@usha... i agree this was not a literal peice of writing..but the way it was conveyed and being the first of its kind..coming from 19yr old ..it was perfect😊..
and yes i did miss Manoj..Manoj is a pro..and i would love to see his version of shayari and also shayari for todays epi today..it would be a treat to our eyes😛..
and talking abt creatives...ab hamare Navya ko saare supenatural and darring feats se waqt mile tab to na woh creativity par dhyan dange😉😆...but still i loved it ..it was very cute...and we cant expect them to be "sarva gun samapan"..to kya hua agar wo actors hai😉😊..
they could have showed good pics a or good shayari too..but i guess that would have taken away that charm and innocence from the scene..dont you think so??
at being pessimist...waise even i know, the smile is soon going to be transformed into tears but it will not be that bad as last time..kyunki is barr hamare ANYA ekdusre ke saath rahenge...no separation track you see😊..

Hi Usha! 😊

It's a good thing AnYa are pretty-looking aren't they...they're certainly not going to win song/art/collage competitions are they?😆

As for his pome, it was sincere, so I suppose it's the thought that counts...I can't judge it cos I can't string 2 sentences together, even if it's Haiku 😉

@urmi - totally agree that a perfect shayari or drawing would've definitely looked artificial.

By the way, I like these anya dates - go for a drive, have a bhutta/coffee/tea and chat and hug :-) and chat some more and hold hands (preferably not when driving though) :-) sweet :-)

@nisha - ha ha ha ... missed your witty writing (my fault as I've not been regular on the forum the last few days)...

I was a bit worried about Anant's "continental" party stuff - if the red heart monstrosity of a card was anything to go by, I would be cringing through the party episodes! Good thing it got cancelled...these dates/balcony scenes are much better!

I see you've mentioned the word pessimistic... But I think I've been a little too pessimistic in some of my other posts, so I'm going to try and give a more optimistic view of the episode! (: Well one thing for sure is- no, Anant will not win any poetry contest... But all the time he was reciting it from memory to Navya, I couldn't help the smile that appeared on my face! So, ok, it was a little cliche and the lines weren't all excellent- but the imperfections were what made it perfect and heartfelt! (: And had anything different been done to the poem, it definitely wouldn't have been the same and put as big of a smile on my face in that moment. See with their lack of poetry skills or drawing skills- well it's more realistic and shows that even if they write or draw something for the other that isn't all too great, it's the though that counts and it is still appreciated (: And if this makes sense at all- in a relationship, I think it's about finding perfection in the imperfections- because that's also where you find love...

As for the hug- well in my opinion, it's the best hug til date! There was something lacking in the birthday hug and that was passion and true comfort... And that's something I saw in today's hug, so I was again full of smiles when Anant opened his arms and Navya jolted him a little with the force of her hug!!

And yes, now that you've mentioned it... I'm already missing Manoj's daily updates in Shayari Corner :( Yes, he would've done a great job with Anant's poem also!!! We might have to just bug him this weekend to give us his take on it (:

precap- well it looked a little worrying, par ab dekhte hai kya hota hai...

@usha- Thrilled to see you open a thread, on shayari and our adept shayar of the forum,Manoj. Terribly miss his posts, cos they would always leave a radiant effect on me...
Anant, the amateur shayar was endearing, (sometimes I wonder, how could he be so full of emotions, after residing amongst those looneys) .
Yes, if AnYa were to participate in any cultural activities, i guess they would fail miserably. But I love them all the more, for they are imperfectly perfect...
