LMAO @ the underlined part! 🤣 Tell that to Anant!😆

I particularly agree with the bold parts & the part in red. Confused, can understand. Cowardly? Nope.

Btw, I feel that it's not necessary that the man only be strong. I think in love, the relationship should work both ways. They both should be each other's support & take some serious mutually decided action.^^

@ bold thats true but atleast for that both have to be sorted out if u look at Anya 's story their can not even be termed as love story .navya had a crush on Anant from day 1 we all know that she was infatuated n all but that wasnt love from anant side it wasnt even crush .FOA he was shown as a guy who doesnt believe in love n stick to his values n tradition par pata nahin computer class mein kaunsa virus Anant ke dimaag mein ghusa .his character changed from that day we got to see a new Anant who out of now where forces navya for everything he likes mind u at that point their friendship was in initial stages n her started his petulant ways .then suddenly that weird hug out of no where n pehlaaa pyaaar gimme a break .I saw first kind of love without no realization just for the moment n now u can see.i dont mean to say every love story shud follow the basic norms kind thing but atleast there shud be some connectivity .love is not that suddenly comes like loose motion .it has to be felt nurtured understood n for the support thing first they have to be true to themsleves n each other .Let Anya confess their love first .i m sure if Anant would have been a bit more strong in the relationship navya cud have supported him but here he himself is not aware of his feelings well neither is communicating it to Navya .how can we expect her to support when he is not sure of his feelings .but i m sure this is gonna change soon .
Soumya Seth for example who plays the role of Navya in Star Plus's 10.00 PM show, according to Director Ravi Bhushan, "was hard to crack as an actor. Instead of taking the girl to the character we took the character towards the girl".
but whats the need we have seen soumya n she is a decent actor n is improving i m sure she could have pulled off the character well

I very much agree with you on this, Aimin...very well said...however I guess factors like the age of the two ppl in the relationship, their personalities, circumstances play a huge part...I feel what AN share is still not something they BOTH have full faith in...maybe Anant does a bit more than Navya...but Navya has already blocked it out from her mind and is trying to forget...now you can call it her practicality, her naivete...whatever it is...but they both don't have the maturity or strength of character it seems to stand by this relationship and whatever is b/w them...Not at this point atleast.

LOL indeed there is nothing to like really...hence the reason why I said I'm not making the posts😆

I think things are going to get messy without a doubt...there doesn't seem to be any other way out if they intend to move things forward in the story...We know the engagement will get called off obviously...but I still find it hard to believe AN could elope...Navya's stance/her mopeyness confirms that thought in my mind further😆

Agreed. They're not in a relationship & their shy, introverted nature is a strong contribution to the fact that nothing substantial has happened yet. My problem with this is the pendulum-ish way their characters are portrayed. I can't keep up with the mood swings & sudden impulses if that's what it really is.

At first, it made sense, but not so much in the past few days. One moment, Anant is full of junoon & he's adamant on having his way. The other moment he's so mopily quiet he might as well be plastered onto the wall. & again, in a high, he wants to sort things out. I'm having a serious tiff with the CVs over the characterisation now. Initially, it seemed like they had put a lot of thought into the characters and the scenes. Now they're just writing whatever comes to mind. Kachra bhi ho, who cares? (Or so it seems)

This is SO lame..so this role is custom-made for Soumya? What an ingenious plan, CVs! 😡

WORD, Abhi! Prettiness can only go so far...

Although I agree with manojshonafan that Soumya is improving & perhaps her poor acting is the director's fault, admitting this was pretty ridiculous. *rolls eyes* If they had wanted to give the character to Soumya so much, they should have given her some rigorous training in acting and not let us watch her bloom and grow as an actor!!

I dont blame her that much as an actor, but this line is funny. "We took the role to her", Weird!

This dukhi dukhaal role could have had a l'le spunk from her side, imo.
Anyways I better get going!

Bye! 😃

Infatuated! Finally, someone said it! (I don't know whether anyone did before but I'm hearing this for the first time so) Anant was, at first, Navya's infatuation. She saw a guy and fell in love immediately? That's not possible. If Anant & Navya get married & have children, grow old, the moments she will remember I doubt will be that one. She will think of the moments they shared, the good and the bad, their conversations, the joy of being together, being each other's confidante. As much as I loved Navya, I don't like that scene and how besotted she was with him for no reason.

Again, about the communication. So true.

Manojshonafan, all i can say is your thoughts are truly novel, ROFL!! As for the underlined part, I'm going to quote Erich Segal here.

True love comes quietly, without banners or flashing lights. If you hear bells, get your ears checked

Dude, I seriously wouldn't kick you out of here! I'm a die-hard Gulaal fan too! (Though, I'm mostly just a silent reader & liker there). I've been itching for the update because the WUs there are particularly good but the last time I checked, which was quite some hours ago btw (^^''), there was nothing so I came to ramble here.😆 I'm going to confess, though, that I started passionately following it after the leap when Kesar came back to the village.

Anant should take some pointers on being a man from him. He makes me all sorts of dreamy. ☺️
EDIT: This MAYBE, and I empasise very much on the word maybe, because I have a slight crush on Neil Bhatt. >_>

I'll post my thoughts in detail after watching the epi but for now, I'll say this much...the problem is not with showing the Benaras family nonsense...the problem is with how nothing moves on the AN front...even if they TALK...it's just stuff everyone already KNOWS...Navya doesn't show more reaction beyond her stance...Anant yearns for her presence...the chance to talk to her...hear her voice...I get that...but to just stand around with a mopey face and listen to Navya's monotone just makes for all round depressive viewing as well.

This is my opinion based on the previous two epis...baaki I'll watch today and then say.

WORD!
very well said anuuu...the stagnant pace of the show and the AN story front has basically made this potentially a good show begin to leave a sour taste in the mouth...
I srsly m not getting the inspiration to write or post my diary entries coz from the emotional standpoint...AN are still at the same juncture where they reached after CSB gave "wake up anant" call on the impulsively high romantic night ...
But great post aimin...me may post more comments as well once I view the epi too...which quite interestingly m dreading to do so 😆😆

Abhi, I never meant to make it sound like she's that horrible. Note the bolded parts. >_> I'm just saying that they should have trained her before they made her act. Now she's going to take the fall for their poor error in judgement. =/ As a first-timer she's okay but compared to the others, her acting is just mediocre for now. That must suck considering the fact that the show itself is named after her character.

I remember watching SRK on the telly as a kid & I was truly moved by his depiction of his character. Today I can't remember what happens in Circus, yeah, & maybe I didn't know any better then but seriously, when he cried, I cried. & he was not a superstar those years to boot. I'm just saying that first-timers could be pretty phenomenal if given the chance. Soumya seems to be forced on this. She has her good moments but then there are the bad moments. Dunno. *shrugs*

Aaanyway, enough ranting for one night I suppose.^^'' it was great talking to you! Hope to catch you around here again sometime.😆
