You pretty much covered every aspect of the episode awesomely 👏 and I'm in agreement to all the points you covered, except for the bit about Ritz and Appy. I acknowledge the fact that Appy has taken a U-turn but her defending of Anant later is slightly inconsistent with what happened earlier. Initially, she was hesitant to send Navya with Anant while Ritz was the one who saw that going with him was indeed what Navya wished but strangely, later, Appy showed surety while Ritz became skeptic...
Maybe Appy had time to reflect on everything while they waited together...
Oh I just can't stop thanking the CVs (in my mind) for maintaining the freshness of the show. The subtle, if-you-blink-you-will-miss-it moments make it so much different from the K serials as others have pointed out.
(Btw, Soumya has SOME chops! I've already written another huge rant on the car scene today in another post [EDIT: specifically, in JZee's post. I confess I'm saying this after seeing JZee's comment here] so I'm not going to repeat what I said there. >_>)
Special mention to Shaheer and Soumya both, who I found were equally good at conveying their emotions. If I were to pick my own favourite scenes... The knowing look on Ritz' face when it dawns on her that Navya doesn't want to leave. I also loved it when Anant, slightly breathless, realises that Navya stopped in her tracks; it looked like his heart had stopped at that moment at the sign of a tiny ray of light in all the bleakness. She doesn't want to leave without talking to him! 😆
Another favourite: Anant wiping off her tears... & new tears flow afresh. I guess we weren't the only ones moved by this heartwarming gesture. 😆 The love in their eyes was evident and given the circumstances, I Love Yous would have been actually out of place and weren't really required. Totally agree on what you said about that.
& I'm glad that Anant didn't feed her some cheesy line implying that he has indeed READ HER EYES. The scene really went in the proverbial sense; silence said it all, for now. I'm sure that some time later, they would like to hear the 3 words from each other but right now, they need to tackle this.
Agreed, these 2 are only 19 years but they have started to show maturity. Gone are the days when the hero and heroine beg and plead and plan on leaving their families for each other. If I hadn't been so swept into their moment with them, I'd have probably literally applauded the moment Navya said she won't leave her family.
And I loved that they TALKED...it was a PROPER conversation...about all their hurt, the struggles, their heartbreak,...the bit when Navya talks about how she never thought about anything...and now she's realizing that she never even wants to be in a place where she would have to fight with her family for anything...that she doesn't have that courage in her...so she would never ask HIM to fight with his family for her her either... Absolutely. Couldn't have put it better. This part was the cherry on the cake. She doesn't want to sacrifice her family and it's not her selfishness either so how can she expect that from him? On the contrary, this showed how considerate and selfless she is. Papa ka Navya, you shined today. Now I'm just waiting for the day Anant thinks before he acts. Wish he didn't go up with her but yeah, he was probably too bechain. Though, like you said,
.I see a stronger Anant emerging bit by bit...there's a ways to go still though. WORD.
All in all, fingers crossed for another visual treat like this. 😆
EDIT:
The biggest Awww moment of today: "Agar main saath nahin rahunga...toh bhi saath bitaaye lamhon ko yaad karke hasogi? I--d--iot" 😆🤣
🤣
