Hey thanks so much Smita...btw, our names are a bit similar since mine is Ishmeeta...(my teachers still call me smita though😉)

Actually i wouldn't have put pictures for chapter 2 but when i re-read your comment yesterday, I felt that yeah, the pics should be there to do the weightiness😉😉!!!

CHAPTER 3: ZINDAGI BAN GAYE HO TUM!

I was angry with Anant, that's for sure.

Anant: Mujhe kya? Navya, tumne soch bhi kaise liya ke mujhe kuch fark nahin parta? Main to yeh soch-soch ke gussa ho raha houn ki tumhe to yahan, mere saath hona chahiye tha!

Me: Achcha jee? Maska maarna ban karo...please!

Anant: Ab itna gussa kis liye? Tumhe kya lagaa? Teen din bhi nahin hue hai hamari shaadi ko aur maine tumhe ignore karna shuru kar diya... MRS NAVYA ANANT VAJPAYEE???

Me: Han...Nahin..

Anant: Achcha-achcha...theek hai... ab itna bhi blush mat karo!

Me: Aapko kaise?

Anant: Tumhare rag-rag se waakif hoon main...Humne aivayi aapse pyaar nahin kiya.

(I was constantly blushing...throughout?)

Anant: Navya...

Me: Hmmm'

Anant: Keh do na..

I: Kya??

I knew exactly what he wanted to hear.

Anant: Ab tum mere samne to ho nahin ki main tumhare pair par sakun! Kaho naa..Please'Mere Liye'

I: Anant, mujhe kuch samaj mei nahin aa raha hai.

Anant: Soch lo' Main ghar par aa jaaoun?? Tumse poochne ke liye ??

I : Himmat Hai ?

I felt like challenging on the spot.

Anant: Navya ki bachchi! Mujhe challenge kar rahi ho?? Ruko tum, 15 minutes mei pahunchta hoon!

I: Hey Ram! Mere pati mei himmat! WOW!!!

Anant: Himmat nahin hoti to tumse BHAGKAR shaadi nahi karta. Aha! 5+

Chalo, tumhe maaf kar deta hoon'Tum bhi kya yaad rakhogi?? 5+

I: Oh! I'm so blessed! Jaao-Jaao! 10+

I said that really loud

Dadi: Arri o mantbuddhi! Itna kyun chiikh rahi ho??

I: Kuch nahin dadi, aise hi.

Dadi: Haan! Aise chiikh ko dadi khub samjhe hai! Ab 10 minutes mei tum bahaar aa jaana, dadi ke saath chai peene!

I: Jee dadi!

Anant: Tum itna tez kyun bol rahi thi??

All of a sudden, Anant started talking with a low voice.

I: Par <TUM> itne dheere se kyun baat kar rahe ho?

And I started laughing at him.

I: Anant'Just for the record, scoresheet mei main tumse 15 points aage hoon!

Anant: Koi baat nahin'Baad mei tumhari aur scoresheet ki setting kardounga!

Finally, after all the Tu-Tu-Main-Main, all the geele-shikwe were solved, we tried to put our sarcasm on hold!

Anant: Achcha Navya, maine bhi tumhe pichle do dinon se nahin dekha. To isi liye, main kal subha tumhe lene aa raha hoon, sharp 08:30. Miss call karounga tab niche aa jaana.

I : Nahin Anant, college mei milte hai na, waise bhi lecture to 10 baje shuru hoga! Hamari medical college itni bhi door nahin; to jaldi nikalne ka kya faayda? Aur waise bhi, main rickshaw se aa jaaoungi!

Anant: Koi zaroorat nahin hai rickshaw lene ki! Jab tumhare paas ek ready-made life-long driver hai, to tumhe kyun dikkat uthane ki zaroorat hai? Main hoon naa'

I: Par Anant, agar papa kahe ki woh mujhe chod de toh?

Anant: Arre sawaalon ki MAHARANI! Tum kyun itni sawaal karti rehti ho?! Dekho, tumhare papa to'

I: Huh!!!???!!!

Anant: Sorry-PAPA-

I: Hmm'

Anant: Papa to savere 08:15 ko nikalte hai'aur main to 15 minutes baad aaounga.

I: To tumne kal ka poora schedule plan kar liya hai?

Anant: Maine to humari poori zindagi plan kar liya hai'Bas ek zaraa, saath ho tera'

I : Tere to hai hum, kabse sanam !! Nice song'One of my favourites'

We started laughing at this comment of mine!

Dadi: Gudiya! Arri oh Navya, taneek bahaar to aao!

I: Jee aayee dadi!

-Anant, main jaa rahi hoon, dadi pukaar rahi hai.

Anant: Theek hai, to kal milte hai'gudiya'

I: Anant! BYE!

Anant: Bye'suno'I love you!

I: Love you too'

(Saying so, I disconnected the phone quickly)

Then dadi called me in the living room to have tea and was saying something on I think, someone special coming to meet me tomorrow afternoon and that I had to return home early whatsoever par main apni dhun mei khoyi thi! Was I really paying attention to what she was saying? NO! I was lost in my own duniya,

and the flashback returned.

After discussing everything, Anant dropped di and I home. I don't know exactly why di seemed so happy, but I figured out that she was bound to be given that she's my elder sister.

That night, di came to my room to talk to me.

Renuka di: Navi, kal main court jaa rahi hoon. Yeh tumhari zindagi ka sabse bada fesla hai. Tum iske liye tayyaar ho na?

I: Di, pata nahin! Lekin itna to main jaanti hoon ki main Anant ke siwaaye kissi aur ki nahin ho sakti!

Renuka di: Bas yehi kaafi hai NAvi! Agar aap pyar mei ho naa, to phir koi bhi badi se badi muusibat ka saamna tum dono milkar kar sakte ho! Yeh mera daawaa hai!

The following day, di, Anant, Ranbir, Appy, Ritz and I went to the court

and everything was approved for the court marriage to be held on the next day! I was really excited and nervous at the same time; at the idea of becoming a wife'

Awesome , Ish ( hope I can address you so ) 👏 . Read all the parts in one go, and I must say, they are fabulous ❤️. Loved the way, you have incorporated the pics and the Avis 👍🏼 . Felt nostalgic, reminiscing some of those cherished scenes... Adored the way, Navya addresses Anant as aap , and also the friendly banter between the couple, post marriage😳. Excellent work.
