Ah well it would add some more enjoyable elements to the show. I mean Shan is all 'I-Hate-Humans' and Noori he gets attracted to Noori or falls for her...his confusion would be a treat. Btw I feel Noori compliments Shan better, specially their personalities. Shan is grouchy, angry and dark, Noori is kinda all cheerful and bright. Contrast!
While with Arjun, she appears more like an irritating sibling, or a friend rather than a love interest, at least from my pov.
On top of that a gut feeling tells me Arjun is going to suffer some tragedy soon. And that is sure going to be painful.
So Shan, if he remains busy with Noori, Arjun will have one less problem...wait no, he will have two less problems to deal with and the Shan-Noori scenes will be entertaining to the viewers too.

Man I can't help but agree with you there. Noorjun doesn't look interesting as compared to Shanoor. I guess the fast paced intro and Noori's OTT bubbly obsession to get close to Arjun as his girlfriend is what ruined Noorjun. So for the time being I ship Shanoor as a couple.

I second you.Shannoor as a couple have more potential.Infact Noorie with Shan actually gives me vibes of a passionate romance which NoorJun lack.

Sometimes I get the feeling this might end up like tvd. Where both vampire brothers clash because of the same girl, the girl initially likes the younger brother but then she realizes that she actually loves the older brother and the rest becomes history.. Though I know this show might not end up as a replica to tvd since this is about mythology

Aayesha my sweet putri! Glad to see you here.

Okay now on to your topic, see thing is you don't live in India and that is the reason why you don't have a first hand experience of the same. I have a family that has had a lot of police officers and I have closely seen how they work. While I do not mean to demean them the truth there is often misuse of power on their parts.

The reason why common folk address policing force in this country as ' wardi waaley gundey' is because they do misuse their power. This is one open secret. SP Chowdhary is one classic example of how power drives people. While he might be an honest officer and a vigilant policeman the thing he has power in hands and he uses it for his own gain.

Next is he doesn't treat Noorie as a human, he sees her as a target that he has to protect and that is why is breaches his barrier and goes overboard with everything.

But whatever be the thing, bottom line truth is power corrupts you and you do misuse and abuse it!

Pranipaat again my dearest Pitashree!!!! 🤗 Where were you?? I was missing you a lot.
Thanks for telling me about this Pitashree.I had a faint idea about this system but I did not know much.

In SP Chaudhary's case, along with the misuse of his power,I can feel his inhumanity.
Somehow I feel that it's not only the overprotective nature of a father. Its more of his wish to control her and his superiority complex. He wouldn't have a problem with Arjun had Arjun belonged to a well to do family. This is my opinion.

I wonder what's he gonna do once he learns Arjun is Astika's son.

Dheron subh aashish and aashirwaad my dear putri! I was and still am (sort of) on a hiatus! By the end of this moth I'd make my grand appearance again!😆

SP Chowdhary is someone who likes the control that power brings along with it and he exercises it over everyone be it common folk or his own daughter. And you are right he would have had no problem if Arjun belonged to a well connected family or had a reputation of sort to flaunt. He is a narcissist if you look at him; he cannot love anyone apart from his powers. That I believe will somewhere be the crux of this story telling. SP Chowdhary seems to be a trump card by the makers! Even I wonder what would be his reaction when he finds out that Arjun is Astika's son!

Well she might need it considering the kind of bitch he is to everyone. You never know when someone would try to hurt her just to get back at him
