Everything points towards Astika only.Because why would Takshak ever bother about Pranali?? He knows that Astika is loyal to him and Takshak obviously thinks that he can get Astika's human son easily.He does not need Pranali.And Mohini will obviously want Pranali to be dead.So that leaves only Astika

Simple takshak is the king. So he can do whatever he want.
Mohini is unaware. If she knows she will kill pranali personally.

Actually I feel that Takshak does not feel the need to blackmail Astika.He knows that Astika will never turn against him come what may.And Takshak probably thinks Pranali to be insignificant and not worthy of attention.He is only bothered about the Mani,Vasuki and Astika's son.

Well it did not look like a prison to me.It looked like Naglok and she was just sitting in a corner.Maybe Astika wants to keep her safe from Mohini and Shan??

I too think he just wants to safeguard her from takshak or maybe he wants her to alive until he gets to know about their son
