Ankush/Smita There were lots of mistakes in this act whether it be with props or just missing the beats. Ankush really improved leaps and bounds and I was totally surprised. I hope that he can keep this momentum going then they have a chance. However why did we have the whole sympathy piece. Sometimes I wish there were nothing personal said as then we will stick to dance.Today the dance was the highlight but what most people will remember is the super woman story.
Neelu /Arvind - This was a typical entertainment act that Sajid talks about. They really did the sequence well however there were times on the cart you could see the hesitation. I know the balancing act was not easy especially given their age and not being feather weight but still I felt it could have been a lot cleaner. When the Ganpat part started I was rolling away with laughter just like the judges. I understand what Terrence is saying but I don't think that he should go by a non-dancer doing a dance so he gives those 11. I don't think they deserved 11 and 9 was perfect I just did not like the fact that he says that the bar for each one is different based on their skill.
Parag/Shefali- What were the choreographers thinking when they chose the song. The song just did not have the rhythm for lindyhop. You could see pauses for each and every somersault or lift Shefali was going to make. This is such a fast paced dance and there is no second of break. Iif these choreographers want to do something new they need to make sure they understand the dance before introducing. This is not such a new dance to not know how it's performed.
Ravi/Sargunn- It was a boring dance for me. The steps were so repetitive. I like this couple and feel that they are the underdog. They are a nice good looking couple who have fans following but for some reason things just don't seem to be going their way. Their Chammakchallo was their best performance but it was not at all appreciated. Last week they seemed to do fine yet their scores were not great. This week the trampoline was more like an exercise than dance but whatever they did on the trampoline I liked it. Getting the synch and without getting stuck is huge and they pulled those steps out flawless. 6 was way too low but coming from Sajid it was expected. I don't know what he expects them to do to please him as nothing Rahul does gets him all so excited.
Kushal/Elena ' Their act had a good degree of difficulty and their execution was outstanding. For a person who has to work on a daily soap to be able to nail this especially after such a low score last week is commendable. I am glad they got to stay so we can see more of such fabulous performances. Finally we got ot see an AV on them which I found odd that Karan had to mention in case they were not here to stay. So if they were not at the bottom would that mean that no AV that makes no sense?
Deepshika/Keshav ' This was a great number and I wish that this was their dance last week. They would not have been out today. Atleast it was not a shocker elimination and they were ones i predicted were in danger . But atleast they are going out with a bang.
Now coming to the highlight of the show it surely was the Sargunn's defense not being able to be taken easily by Sajid. Ya she was defending herself and her act and she felt like she needed to make Sajid understand her point of view on how she perceived the act. She could have let it slide but she was so hurt and last week too Charlie was hurt she was allowed to vent so this week why was Sargun not allowed to. And then to top it to keep repeating to learn from Charlie that's not what you want to hear the judges tell you. That was just adding salt to the wound. Sajid forgot that Amar is an established professional dancer so he is not in the same boat as Ravi Sargun. This couple has tried to bring in new elements and yet there is never an appreciation in any form from Sajid. He expects them to do better but what they don't know is where their fault lies. For amar and Charlie Amar was the issue he was doing things that he could without realizing that Charlie could not do it. So they took aid of props to balance it out and it worked for them. For Ravi and Sargun they did props however for them it backfired. Terrence tried to make Sajid see sense but he still did not. He can make sense out of Rahul's nonsense so why not do the same here. The main reason Sajid could not understand is because he choose to only see entertainment and that is where he is wrong. He needs to keep an open mind and judge this as a dance show.What made this worse in his argument he was talking on behalf of the judges however the other judges did not have the same viewpoint . He needs to really clean up his act and be an encouragement for the teams instead of saying harsh stuff to demoralize them.
Now its either Ravi Sargun/Shifali Parag who are going to be leaving next week. What is going to be interesting to see if the tiff worked for or against Ravi/Sargun
