I think too Chetan is a bully. He is the typical seemingly passive make that finds strange moments of aggression. Earlier he flirted a bit with Sana.

This was far too much and he crossed the line. He is only responsible for his own action no one else. And I wonder about the gall that he exhibits here.

It is true that people on the show all treat UpMa badly. People feel freer to have outbursts against them, question them,, etc. Even the host was quite rude to them. This sets up a climate that a wimp like Chetan can do such a disgusting gesture. He is taking advantage of a climate that exists. Would he dare do this with Pretty? I doubt it. He is piggybacking on others being mean to UpMa.

Chetan is disgusting and only he is responsible.

@Pearl550 and Natkat

Before quoting me, first try to understand what was originally written. I called the act of showering snobby after someone licking her finger. I haven't seen the act so was unaware her entire body was covered in chocolate and hence why she showered.

Others obviously never got my Chocolate Finger joke. We have Chocolate Fingers in UK which is like a biscuit in shape of a finger. Anyways going off topic here.

@Vib G - The India comment came as someone just above me mentioned about why India is in such a state of blaming victim. I understand Karishma is just one. But If that one person, took the right stands. Stood up against the powerful who wronged her. That one person had the voice to influence Millions especially when people are watching you on National TV. But she lost her voice, and did nothing praiseworthy to represent girls. Just followed the crowd and silently ignored the molestation.

@efriend

It is wrong to put such a burden on Karishma's quick decision. Let's say it is not scripted and this was an actual moment that caught her off guard.

Chetan was the offender. By all standards it is pretty disgusting. Why should her snap decision be held to such ridiculous standards as being a justice-seeker for all women?

In America a group of black church goers were killed by a gunman. One state rep asked why they sat there and let themselves be killed. In other words he felt they should have reacted and they are to partly to blame.

Your comments are in the same vein. Why should she be held responsible for her momentary reaction to a disgusting act? How can her reaction or lack of be any part of the degrading act?

First of all people need to understand before jumping into conclusions.

I am British, with a British mentality and been to India very little. I was shocked to see a South Asian girl named Karishma standing there silently. That is absolutely shocking to me. Girls in South Asia also need to stand up for themselves. What is the point crying with the victim and not doing anything about it to stop that from happening.

People need to stop treating girls as helpless, weak victims. Change that mentality. Let girls be independent, Be strong, and fight against injustice. That's all I was saying.

Anyways everyone is saying this show is scripted so I don't even know why this article is here. Karishma got paid, consented and yet people are crying out for her.

There was an article that contestants ranting against Chetan is edited out of episodes. So maybe Karishma did react who knows but even if she didn't I don't blame her because it must've been quite sudden and shocking. If anyone is at fault in this situation is Chetan.

Weren't you the person that said Karishma is a snob for taking a shower after Chetan licked her finger? 🤢 Now you're talking about injustice?

Karishma may have reacted but to maintain the respect of their idiotic judge Star Plus will edit it out. There was an article that contestants rants against him aren't shown on TV any more.

@G

You only do selective reading eh? I have already clarified this matter in the previous page to Pearl550. If you feel like you need a clarification, go ahead and read it. Otherwise, I don't want to repeat for selective readers.

I read it, you said you didn't know she was covered in chocolate. So if she wasn't covered in chocolate you'd call her snobbish for taking a shower after the incident?

Proof is needed when there is doubt, here we were arguing if senior or reputed person misbehave should we let him go ? I am still in favor of kicking that person in the public right on the spot so that they don't do such thing in future.
