Does a person who messes up have no self-respect?

This topic is being made because of a few comments that I read which are absolutely ridiculous. And this could be anyone, but I will use the example of Amruta and Himanshoo. Since most everyone here probably knows HiMruta's back story I will just move to my topic.
Obviously Amruta made a mistake in her past, and Himanshoo was wise and generous enough to forgive her and move on. So does this mean that Amruta cannot have any opinions or anything of her own.

Definitely she did not react well today and kind of unnecessarily argued and got upset, but she does have the right to get mad if it is valid. She is Himanshoo's wife and he chose to marry her, she doesn't need to be his doormat just because Himanshoo took her back.

All couples have fights and arguments and of course act immaturely, but that doesn't make Amruta shameless or doesn't mean that she is treating him like trash. We obviously are not in their shoes and do not know what their relationship is like, so why judge. And from what I have seen, Amrita really respects and adores Himanshoo because of certain things she has said like

"Maine apni zindagi ke bahut ahem 10 saal Himanshoo ke saath, thoda Himanshoo ke bina par uski chaya mein guzare hain. Lekin agar ye chaya hi nahi hogi toh main pata nahin kahaan udhti chali jaungi"

"Main iski Himanshoo banna chahthi hoon"

"Koi aapko maaf kare naa kare, Himanshoo aapko maaf kardega itna toh hai"

Small things like this really show what their relationship is really about..

And not just HiMruta, the same can go for all the couples. We aren't in their shoes and do not see them enough to see their love and care.

Well said. If Himanshoo is fine then who r we to drag and disgrace their relationship ? They are married, and I believe they share a strong bond because they broke up and United. I'm not a fan , but I like them. I feel they are genuine couple.

Thanks for the reply. And yeah that is exactly what I am saying. It isn't even about being a fan, just the fact that people think that because Amruta did something wrong, she shouldn't lead a normal life with Himanshoo. Everyone makes mistakes, but we must understand as humans just as Himanshoo had said that hum bhi koi bhagwaan nahi hai, air galtiyaan humse bhi ho thi hai so why judge just move on and let live. If we do make a mistake, we should understand that wrong and never do it again, but we still can voice our opinions and problems.

Certainly she can have an opinion. I like them both, but maybe because of the female viewership they have more highlighted her faults.

It seemed that today was triggered because she felt stupid, or that he thought she was stupid. She was already upset.

We have to remember that through editing they are creating a narrative. The story they are telling is that Amruta has made mistakes, is insecure, and is somehow not as good as Himmanshoo. He reads and is intellectual, while she is light and is a flirt. That is completely unfair.

I like Himmanshoo and have followed him for many years. He seems very nice. But him saying that he sacrificed early in his career to help her, he forgave her, he has protected her, etc paints this as more a one way relationship.

I am not saying that it is this way, but the SP is marketing it this way. Perhaps Amruta has said things and it was never aired. Maybe she also sacrificed too?

I think the editing team is unfair so we should not judge. When Ashwariya and her husband were doing the dance of the cheater, the camera was on Himmanshoo and Amruta.

Totally agree with you...
It is actually the editing that is making Himanshoo look like the perfect one, and Amruta the flawed imperfect one. While Himanshoo himself says that Amruta is very selfless.

Don't even remind me about the Aish Rohit performance and camera on HiMruta. It really irked me because that gave off the vibes that the contestants perceive Amruta as a cheater and disloyal partner. And obviously on the performance and Aish Rohit's part it wasn't probably directed toward Amruta, but it definitely appeared to be.

And Julie,
I love how you explained Amruta's reaction of today. I actually finally understood what it was about. Definitely not needed but somewhat justified. So basically Amu was joking with Himanshoo that she was confused with the poems, and he got upset maybe and called her stupid or just jokingly called her stupid. She got upset over that and so she reacted badly. It was impulsive and in the heat of the moment. Deffo a misunderstanding.

Loveleen, Amruta looked uncomfortable during the cheater dance. That was really awful of SP's editing.

They have both been in the industry a while. There were also tellybuzz articles on Himmanshoo once and a co-star. But all those are not brought up. Amruta keeps saying that it is Himanshoo's turn to shine. She has been quite successful in the Marathi industry. So maybe the pressure is too much sometimes. Today she seemed fed up before the poem. In every dance, in every episode she plays second fiddle to Himmanshoo. She is quite successful and I have seen many interviews with her. She is smart and confident. SP likes her to look like a weak reformed sinner. I feel in the show she is sacrificing for him.

Yeah I have also seen some of her work in the Marathi industry even though I don't know Marathi. (Full blown Punjabi kudi I am). But I can see that she is one of the prominent faces there and is quite confident in her work. It is sad that she isn't really valued here in this show, but only Himanshoo is praised for being the most perfect life partner in the entire universe though I believe he is. Like I would say, to get a Himanshoo, you have to be an Amruta. The perfect Himanshoo didn't just get someone that doesn't value him, she definitely cares and knows what a great human he is and how lucky she is to have him.

I have not known or seen Himanshoo and Amruta or their work before Nach Baliye. I have only seen them through NB. They seem to be a lovely couple and I just love Amruta's positive and bubbly attitude and Himanshoo's understanding nature and amazing smile.

As far as Amruta's past mistakes goes, who are we to judge? There is no one who can judge them as we ourselves are full of many flaws yet we come to this forum everyday and write our views and opinions about others. Its so easy for us to do that. The hard part is for these people on TV. Whether they are good or bad, they are showing enough courage to come on TV to work hard whether its for fame, money, or merely to earn a living to entertain us and then people like us can bash them or adore them or follow their footsteps. The point it no is perfect and everyone is flawed so that dosent mean that they do not have the right to get upset just because you did something wrong in the past. Yes Amruta made a mistake in the past but if her husband forgave her for it, who are we judge? We are not in their shoes we do not know what all they went through.

You guys are right. What we see on TV is edited to show one side where Amruta is shown negatively just because she made a mistake in the past. I think Amruta is truly regretted her mistake and Himanshoo knows that and believes that. If he has accepted her apology and moved on, then its not fair to him that people keep bringing her past in front of him because that may bring tension in their relationship. Its also not fair to Amruta as she is also trying to forget and move on. She probably already felt guilty enough for her mistake.
