First reaction on being invited to join Nach Baliye 3
: It was positive as I am always up for new adventures and challenges. I am not a dancer, and the first time I really danced was in Jhalak Dikhla Ja. But I love reality TV and was excited to be a part of another reality show.
What kind of preparations are you doing for the dance competition? I have my shoots and Hanif is modeling, so we try to put between 3-6 hours of practice daily. Dancing is gruelling, after a week of practice I am bruised all over and sneezing all day.
Your all time favourite dancer and dance song: Madhuri Dixit dances exceptionally well and Hrithik Roshan is my favourite amongst current actors. Favourite song is Golmaal golmaal and the remixes of old hit songs.
Who's the better dancer between the two of you?Hanif, there's no question on that. He was my choreographer in the last dance competition.
The type of dance you are most comfortable in:Rumba - It's a slow, sensuous form of passionate Latin dancing.
Who do you think is the strongest competitorand which pair could be the surprise packet? It's too early to predict the strongest competition but woof woof, we are the underdogs.
Nach Baliye to you means… Hanif for dancing his way into my heart and completely sweeping me off my feet.
Your favourite dancing jodi from the last two seasons: I liked the choreographies of Husain and Tina and Tanaaz and Bakhtiyaar for the way they experimented with concepts in season two.
Do you think the contest will give your career a fillip or is just some fun and games?It's a great exposure for both of us, especially for Hanif since he is trying to make an entry into Bollywood.

Shakti Kapoor and Shivangi Kapoor
Status: Married for 25 years
First reaction on being invited to join Nach Baliye 3: I was actually waiting for my wife's nod. She's a shy woman and a homemaker but now that our children have grown up this provides an opportunity for us to be together and rediscover ourselves as a pair. Initially, I was told about the participation of film biggies like Anupam Kher and Rishi Kapoor with their wives, but I am ok with the final list too though half of them are of my son's age.
What kind of preparations are you doing for the dance competition? I have been dancing for years in films, but a reality show is a one-take act. We do our rehearsals at home too.
Your all time favourite dancer and dance song: Mithun Chakraborty, Govinda, Rishi and Elvis Presley. I love the song Aaa dekhen zara (Rocky) where I compete with Sanjay Dutt.
Who's the better dancer between the two of you? My wife. Being 13 years younger to me (I was called a cradle snatcher when we got married), she is naturally more energetic and had won 4-5 best dancer awards before marriage and comes from a musically inclined family that's distantly related to the Mangeshkars.
The type of dance you are most comfortable in:Any dance. I am even doing an item number in my ongoing play. If you love music you can dance to anything from disco to kathak.
Who do you think is the strongest competitor and which pair could be the surprise packet?All are damn good.
Nach Baliye to you means… Masti, mauj, relaxation. Shaking a leg with your wife and saying goodbye to tension.
Your favourite dancing jodi from the last two seasons: I loved Sachin's dancing and he and his wife Supriya eventually won in season one.
Do you think the contest will give your career a fillip or is just some fun and games? It's just fun and games, a break from regular activities. And I love being called 'Shakti boy' like all the other boys in the competition.

Rakhi Sawant and Abhishek Awasthi
Status: Abhishek had proposed Rakhi 50-60 times in the last two-and-a-half years, Rakhi started reciprocating only after Bigg Boss
First reaction on being invited to join Nach Baliye 3: I don't have the dates. I said I could spare only a day per week. But it has ended up being four days as they keep calling on one excuse or the other like rehearsals, photo shoots or promotions.
What kind of preparations are you doing for the dance competition? At least two-three hours daily. In spite of us being good dancers, we can't do without rehearsals. It's a competition and we are not here to freak out.
Your all time favourite dancer and dance song: Sandhya, Vyjayanthimala, Hema Malini, Helen, Hrithik Roshan and Ganesh Hegde. My all time favourite dance song is Hemaji's Jab tak hai jaan… main nachungi (Sholay).
Who's the better dancer between the two of you? Abhishek's not just a good dancer, but a good actor too.
The type of dance you are most comfortable in:There is no dance that's impossible for me.
Who do you think is the strongest competitor and which pair could be the surprise packet? My competition is with myself. I did something different in Bigg Boss, in Nach Baliye 3 too we will do something different that will create a world record.
Nach Baliye to you means… Heaven. It's the right platform to showcase my talent, which is enough to fill not just Nach Baliye 3, but also Nach Baliye 4, 5, 6…
Your favourite dancing jodi from the last two seasons: I can't pick one.
Do you think the contest will give your career a fillip or is just some fun and games?Rakhi Sawant ne jis cheez ko chuan hai woh sona ban gaya hai. The show will become more famous because of me. It will also help my boyfriend get known on his own merit and not just because of me. After Nach Baliye 3 hum saath saath chal sakenge, main nahin chahti ki woh mujhse do kadam peeche chale aur mere karan jana jaaye.

Kashmera Shah and Krushna Abhishek
Status: Together for over a year
First reaction on being invited to join Nach Baliye 3:I was a bit nervous because it meant declaring ourselves as a couple in public and attracting a lot of unwanted focus. But Krushna said he can't wait to dance and we were on.
What kind of preparations are you doing for the dance competition? I know some couples are dancing for 12-14 hours. But I look at quality work. All my hit dances were solo numbers but this is the first time I am dancing with a hero, which involves a lot of co-ordination. We put in 6-7 hours a day.
Your all time favourite dancer and dance song: Madhuri Dixit because she makes dancing and the toughest steps look so easy. Favourite dance song is Helenji's Mungda song.
Who's the better dancer between the two of you? I think its Krushna. Though we both enjoy dancing, he is Lacchu Maharaj's great grandson. Dancing is in his blood.
The type of dance you are most comfortable in: Bollywood dancing which is a different style of its own.
Who do you think is the strongest competitor and which pair could be the surprise packet? Shakti Kapoor is brilliant - he has the rhythm, beats and moves. Kiran and his wife could be the surprise packet.

Do you think the contest will give your career a fillip or is just some fun and games? Even if one person in the audience realises that we are genuinely in love then we would have won. Certain elements in our families don't like us to be together. We want to show them why we are together and the genuine love between the two of us. And if they are convinced it will be a competition for life.
