Jodi No 1: Narayani Shastri and Gaurav Chopraa
Cupid struck: They met on the sets of a show they were working in and with one thing leading to another, they ended up seeing each other. They have been together for two years now, and believe they were destined to be so.
She loves: Singing, dancing and reading.
He loves: Reading, swimming & watching movies. He also enjoys dancing when the opportunity comes knocking.

He says: The one thing that I love and hate about Narayani is her honesty.
She says: Gaurav is one of the few people who can handle me but I hate his obsession with Amitabh Bachchan.

Did you know: Gaurav and Narayani are both April born Aries!

Choreographers: Sumeet and Sushil
They're the first twin choreographers in the Indian entertainment industry and have worked with the best in the business: Farah Khan, Ganesh Acharya, Ganesh Hegde and Vaibhavi Merchant. They did a cameo in Farah Khan's "Main Hoon Na" and have been part of films like Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Kal Ho Na Ho and most recently Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. Their hallmark is the variety in their choreography and their energy driven performances.


Jodi No 2: Gauri and Yash Tonk
Cupid struck: They met on the sets of "Kahin Kisi Roz". Gauri had been warned about Yash being a Casanova. But as she got to know him, she realized he was quite a nice guy, they got friendly and soon Yash asked her out.
She loves: Singing, dancing and acting.
He loves: Sketching, dancing, playing squash and watching films; Yash also enjoys singing though he is a very bad singer.

He says: Not only is Gauri a better dancer than me, I love it that Gauri has taken over all the responsibilities of our daughter, Pari, the house, and my accounts and investments. She is also the more dominating of the two of us.
She says: We are both short tempered but I am always the first to patch up. But I love being pampered by Yash.

Did you know: Yash carries a portable DVD player with him and even watches films on the set.

Choreographer - Deepak Singh
A choreographer, teacher and dancer, the multi-faceted Deepak specializes in Bollywood and Latin American dance styles. He has also trained in jazz ballet, contemporary and folk dancing. Deepak started dancing for a dance troupe called Velocity and now runs his own successful dance group, Team 5678, that has done over 500 shows in cities all over South India.


Jodi No 3: Shweta Kawaatra and Manav Gohil Cupid struck: The couple first met on the sets of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki and Shweta wasn't the least bit attracted to Manav. They soon become friends and eventually a couple of months later fell in love.

He loves: Trekking, adventure sports, photography and films. He claims to be a victim of music, as he just can't stop dancing once the music is turned on.
She loves: Skating and various outdoor sports.

He says: She is very giving and would go to any lengths for me. I think 'Nach Baliye 2' will help us develop an even better understanding between us.
She says: He is completely grounded and is extremely hard working.

Did you know: Shweta is a national level skater and has won a couple of trophies at that level as well.

Choreographer - Yogesh Patkar
Skilled in jazz, folk and Bollywood styles of dancing, Yogesh has the gift of picking up dance styles just by watching it. The feather in his cap was when he put together performances for Adnan Sami's world tour to South Africa and Kenya called "Adnan Sami Live In Concert" with Namrata Shirodkar and Meghana Naidu, which was a roaring success. Yogesh has been running a highly successful dance academy called 'Pacemakers' for 10 years now.


Jodi No 4: Shweta Tiwari and Raja Chaudhary
Cupid Struck: The couple met on the sets of D Lines, and hit it off instantly. Raja believes that they are absolutely made for each other.
He loves: Playing cricket and table tennis.
She loves: Listening to music, reading & playing with her daughter

He says: Shweta makes a great wife and mother. I wish she would cook for me, though.
She says: He is extremely supportive in whatever I do.

Did you know? Shweta wanted to become a professional dancer but her mother did not let her as it would affect her studies.

Choreographer - Sagar Mhadolkar
Always wanting to be a choreographer, Sagar set out to be an independent choreographer at the young age of 25. His strength lies in Bollywood style of dancing and a fusion of styles that makes him adept in both Indian and western dance sequences. He is now the regular choreographer for singers Kunal Ganjawala, Mahalaxmi Iyer and actor Govinda's stage shows.


Jodi No 5: Ketaki and Rasik Dave
Cupid Struck: They met for the first time while rehearsing for a play in Jai Hind College and it was love at first sight for Ketaki and Rasik.
He loves: Reading and of course, theatre
She loves: Reading, listening to music, watching plays and dancing

He says: I like her honesty, the way she loves me and the way she looks after me and my family
She says: We are a very happening couple! I admire the way Rasik leads his life and accepts me just the way I am

Did you know: Rasik formed his own theatre group while still in college.

Choreographers - Megha & Sampat
Married 2 years back, the individual styles of Megha and Sampat make dancing look simple and fun. Well known in the Marathi film and television world, they run the "Creative Dance Academy" and have done a host of assignments for TV channels and corporates. Whatever the occasion, the have excelled in every project they've undertaken and at the moment, they're looking forward to the release of their Hindi film called "Patthar" starring Vasundhara Das.


Jodi No 6: Gurdip Kohli and Arjun J. Punjj

Cupid struck: Fate bought the 2 of them together on the sets of Sanjeevani.

She loves: Dancing and listening to music.
He loves: Listening to music.

She says: I think we are the best couple on earth. I love his energy and sense of humour.

He says: I love the way she understands things completely

Did you know: Nach Baliye 2 is the first show that Gurdip and Arjun will be working together on after 'Sanjivani'

Choreographers - Jignesh & Nigar
Another of the married couples, they've wedded Nigar's Indian style and Jignesh's western influence to create a unique style. They specialise in stage shows, and are so much in demand that they could devote no time to their successful dance academy and had to close it down. They were recently a part of the Sunil Shetty- Priyanka Chopra tour of South America called "Bollywood Hungama" and have choreographed events for a slew of corporate clients and worked with celebrated singers, actors and television personalities.


Jodi No 7: Gauri Pradhan and Hiten Tejwani
Cupid struck: They first met while shooting a commercial and again on the sets of Kutumb. They've now been married for 2 1/2 years.
He loves: Swimming and reading thrillers.
She loves: Reading just about anything she can lay her hands on, travelling and sports such as squash, tennis and swimming.
He says: Gauri is perfect and has no flaws.
She says: Hiten's habit of throwing things around the house drives me up the wall. But our marriage has worked as both of us are are extremely understanding.
Did you know: They actually ignored each other for quite a while even while they were co-stars for the first time.

Choreographer - Arvind Thakur
Arvind was the lead dancer in the hugely popular remixes of "Aashiq Banaya" and "Tera Saroor" video alongside Himesh Reshammiya, and has assisted some of the best chorepgraphers in town. Independently, Arvind has done a lot of music videos among them, Rangeela Re and Hum Toh Mohabbat Karega for T.series.


Jodi No 8: Tina and Hussain Kuwajerwala

Cupid Struck: They first met in college and they started seeing each other after a friend played matchmaker. They are convinced that they are made for each other or it was fated that they had to be together

She loves: Dancing and singing.
He loves: Watching films and listening to music. He claims to still be learning how to dance

He says: I love the idea of her claiming to love me more than I love her.

She says: I love the fact that family comes first for Hussain.

Choreographer - Harshall -Vitthal
This duo has been choreographing independently for over 5 years and have been together for the last 3. Their names are steadily becoming synonymous with an innovative and superior dance style. Their first break in films came from Ram Gopal Verma with the dance film called Naach. This film showcased their individualistic style inspired from hip-hop, jazz and a touch of bollywood moves. And since then, they haven't looked back.


Jodi No. 9
Keerti Gaekwad and Sharad Kelkar
Cupid struck: They met on the sets of Aakroash but didn't interact much. They were supposed to do another show together but Keerti was not able to do it: but after that they kept in touch and they were soon dating.

She loves: Dancing, watching films, singing and travelling.

He loves: A graduate in sports and physical education he is a complete sports freak and love singing as well.
She says:
I hate Sharad being glued to the T.V, but I think we make a perfect pair.

He says:
It's our compatibility that has worked in our favour.

Did you know: As a kid at weddings Sharad was always made to stand in the centre and dance and Sharad happily obliged.


Choreographer - Kiran Giri
One of the most recognized and in demand lead dancers for movies, music videos and stage shows. His oriental appearance has made him stand out in the sea of faces in every song he has featured in. He started his career 6 years ago with Farah Khan, and in this span he has been a part of movies like Mohabbatein, K3G, Shakti , Chocolate, Fight Club, Maine Pyar Kyon Kiya etc. Kiran has also performed at numerous stage shows with some of India's best known choreographers.


Jodi No. 10
Tanaaz R. Lal & Bhaktyaar M. Irani

Cupid struck…
They met on the sets of a reality show where they spent 2 months in each others company and ironically were actually competing against each other.

She loves: Needlework but has not been able to do that for a while, she also enjoys watching films and dancing, but dreads choreographed dance.

He loves: Outdoor sports especially cricket and football. He claims to be an okay dancer and can dance to save his life.

They call themselves a fun loving, whacko couple, who are intensely emotional and really value each other's point of view.
Did you know: Tanaaz and Bakhtyaar plan to tie the knot on 18th Nov 2006, bang in the middle of this season of 'Nach Baliye 2'

Choreographer - Mini
Mini's mother has been running a dance academy for 27 years and under her tutelage Mini has trained in Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi and Mohini Attam for 15 years. Hand picked by Ganesh Hegde during a college festival, she assisted him for two years for various stage shows. Since then she has worked with all the leading choreographers of the industry, assisting Vaibhavi Merchant for 'Bunty Aur Babli' for the dance anthems "Dhadak Dhadak" and "Kajra Re"and Farah Khan for 'Paheli'
