I seriously loved Avni tonight, this is a girl who never needed a man to fight her battles and I was more than happy when she told Sunheri she won't call Neil why should she? Avni is more than capable of handling Kamini on her own and that she did! Kamini was so overconfident believing she got the best of Avni but in reality it was Avni who got the best of her, Avni connected the dots and sent Kamini right where she belongs! Kamini will surely strike again but for the time being she got a dose of what it is like to cross paths with Avni Ayesha!

Zain just nails his character, the disinterest he had when Mitali was talking about redecorating the room and his reaction to the broken frame that Avni bought for their family pic - it was perfect! Neil has proven he has not moved on in the least, he is a stand up guy who would try to be fair to Mitali but the fact of the matter is he never moved on from Avni. Neil's reaction to just a frame or even in the precap when Avni was being bitterly insulted in court just prove this is a man who still loves Avni and cannot live without her.

Now this is a rant about Mitali, this is a pathetically written character seriously! Neil has repeatedly shown where his heart still belongs, where his priorities are and it is not with her. It is ridiculous the way Mitali keeps saying that she can see that Neil is unable to move on yet she is still here! Why deosn't she walk away? Why not call the whole thing off? What is she waiting for?? CVs are forcing something that does not exist and just have Mitali looking like a woman who has zero self respect.

I loved Avni in today's episode ...she showed us that she is a survivor...she is a fighter who will always emerge a winner. And she does not need Neil or anyone else to keep on living and doing what she believes in. And no matter how much people love Neil ...she is a far stronger person than he will ever be. Regarding Mitali ...why do we always blame the other woman. Mitali has loved Neil, for years. Yes she messed up when she scared Avni but then she promised to only see Neil as a friend. Neil went to her and proposed . She has asked him many times if he is sure and she's also told him that he still loves Avni ..she even wanted to call the engagement off. But Neil lies to her and insists he wants to move on and he does it loudly and forcefully like when he insists he hates Avni.. so Neil is at fault. He is lying to Mithali and himself . He is playing with mithalis feelings. Remember it's not easy to walk away from someone you've loved for a long time and waited for. The writers are showing Neil giving mithali all the fianc signals ...he's letting her change their bedroom ...taking her out ...basically they have a relationship..and they're preparing for their married life. The writers have either made Neil stupid or callous and cruel. He's having flashbacks of Avni all the time...he thinking of her ...he was unhappy about the divorce ...can't he put two and two together and say I still love Avni. But Neil has also been a person who's ready to marry a woman he does not love to move on from another . ...like he did with Riya, I'm just disappointed because the fact that he has a son has not changed anything for him ..his son has only ever asked him for one thing in 10 years ..to be a family with his mom..but we didn't even see Neil reflecting on this...I frankly see no fatherly qualities in Neil...and it's not zains actung ...becuade zain is terrific with kids ...we see all the photos..and Neil told Mithali today that he wants to start a family with her . What about Mowgli ...the child he already has with Avni...the Twitter fandom is not impressed with Neil today..I don't know how Neil's actions are going to be explained. Avni who feels so guilty about the pain she caused him is going to take him back instantly when he asks.. but I actually see Mithali breaking it off with him..Neil is too far gone now ...

@Indira I am with you. After loving someone passionately like Neil did with Avni, how can he even settle for lukewarm relationship.
He is being unfaithful in his thoughts to Mithali. Every woman wants the husband to think of her and her only. Here Neil is constantly thinking about Avni and then compensates for his unfaithfulness with gifts and lunches to Mithali.

If Mithali has any pride, she will walk out of such a relationship. If Avni was in Mithali's place she would have.

Neil is really being shown as a weak character. During initial leap, he was ready to marry Rhea despite the fact he was attracted to Ananya. Now he is ready to marry Mithali despite the fact he thinks about Avni. Why do the CVS potray the men as needing a woman to move on? Why can't they show men as being strong and faithful in thoughts and action

Whereas Avni is being potrayed as faithful in thought and action. She doesn't need someone she doesn't love in her life just to move on or to support her

Mitali's character is beyond pathetic, and she looks like a straight up despo who knows the truth, yet seems to just want to grab on to strands to prevent her conscience from convincing her to do the right thing and give up on dreaming about a life with Neil. That's why whenever she sees an ounce of neil's suppressed love for avni come through that fake hard surface of his, she confronts him about his feelings for avni, and drills it into him that he still hasn't moved on from her, then easily calms down the moment he offers her false words of assurance that he is happy with moving on with her. She knows he's not happy, but will continue with the marriage preps and comforted with his fake assurances all away up until he tells her straight to her face he isn't happy, she is left embarrassed and looking stupid that she was making dreams of marrying a man who was still obviously in love with his first wife. Is that what she wants? Just continue with it all and cajole her pathetic heart till the man is honest and rejects her to her face? No self-respect at all. Literally any girl would have known it's best to walk out of this, but she continues just as long he keeps saying he is happy.

this Neil is not ready to accept that he still loves and wants Avni..I think if it's not Mithali, any other woman will do for Neil at this point ...he Justs wants to move on from Avni so Any woman will do for him...he needs to wake up and realise his feelings ..he knows what he is thinking and feeling . When he gave Avni the divorce papers he kept on looking at her and remembering their romantic moments ...so obviously he still wants her ...Neil, is the problem .. he needs to stop lying and admit how he feels

I agree with you. Mithali is delusional and blinding herself, so if she had common sense she would actually walk out, and part of the fault is hers, but neil...this boy is incomprehensible. He literally isn't a good father. How easily he told avni to get out along with mowgli when he got to know mowgli is his son, then went and carried on happily with his engagement with mitali even when she said it was best they didn't do the engagement because she was having second thoughts. Then how easily he thought to gain mowgli's custody just to make up for apparent lost time with him, when mowlgi has spent all his life with avni, and even seeing he can't live without avni, neil didn't care and kept going on with the custody battle, even trying to get mowgli on his side away from avni with toys, then continuously giving false hopes of a happy marriage to mitali, and then even making a false promise to mowgli to not take him away from his mother, when he went ahead to get mowgli's full custody so mowgli lives with him, even knowing that he can't look after his son the way avni does. He's become ignorant and reckless out of his anger and ego. Even going so far as telling mitali to become a replacement mother for mowgli in his attempt to get avni out of his life and teach her a lesson. All this is just about him. He doesn't care that he is stringing mitali along, taking away the one person avni has left, and taking mowgli away from his mother... he just needs to prove to everyone he has no feelings left for avni.

You know the story is making you mad when Mandy writes a short review with 3 paragraphs only, and one of them is a rant. Because same! LOL
I'm hella annoyed, and like many of us, I've been patient with this storyline.

It's been dragging for too long and they need to stop shoving Mitali down our throats. She's dumb, annoying and frustrating all rolled into one. She's making women, like us look terrible. As an IPS officer, I expected more of her ( when she was first introduced as a character after the leap; I even gave her a chance at redemption after the stunt she pulled with Avni). I expected Mitali to be a woman of honour, courage and to be independent. She's none of those 3 things. On the contrary, she's selfish, meek and completely dependent on her obsession with Neil.

I thought when she found about Mowgli and knowing that Neil is still in love with his wife (they were still married at that point) that she would back off, if not for anyone, then at least to give the child of her so-called love, a chance at a normal family! She's so selfish that she's not even considering how this child is being affected, and how she could have made things better by letting two people who are still in love with each other be with each other.

Yes, the onus of Mowgli's future doesn't rest with her. She's not the parent. It's Avni and Neil's decision. But, she could have made a step at least.

Neil's actions and Avni's actions are still justified to me. For the same reasons as they were before. I will add this though, every time Mitali clings to the idea of marrying Neil and making choices for their life together, I find that Neil gets pushed back. I think if Mitali had made the decision to leave, Neil would be seeing things more clearly when it comes to Mowgli and Avni.

Neil thinks he's made his bed, by agreeing to marry Mitali in a fit of anger, and now he's obligated to lie in said bed. No honey- you need to take control of your life now.

I'm hoping that when Mowgli's custody is given to him, and he sees the struggle he's facing with raising him, he realizes how much Avni actually did for their son. Neil needs a rude awakening and I think he's going to get it with Mowgli being in his custody.

I will say this again, with 11 episodes left, I really wish the writers and CVs would hurry the f**k up *Sorry, but not sorry about the language* and wrap up these loose ends.

At this point, I really want Neil to tell Mitali off. Neil really needs to wake up and smell the coffee. He needs to realize that him running after his ex-wife the moment he sees her hurting is not moving on. It's not. It's him being madly in love with her, just like he was 10 years ago.

To the CVs and writers: Get a move on. Get rid of Mitali. Get Prakash's truth out. Get AvNeil together and let's get the Khanna family healing as a whole.

If we get an extension: Get Kamini Kapoor as the villain which she already is, and tell Mitali to GTFO!

If you allow me, I'd like to analyze the dialogue of Neil to Mowgli : "Main aapko apki mami se khabi dur nahi karonga aap hamesha apni mama se milte rahoge kyuki main aapse pyar karta hoon aur main aapke saat waqt baitana chahta hoon"

@Red this part of the dialogue clearly shows that Neil didn't make any false promise to the kid, meeting the mother for Neil means that he wants to get custody but let Mowgli meet his mother whenever he wants to

@Bold this part shows why Neil wants the permanent custody, yes amidst the drama and all the things happening there are not scenes that hightlight Neil's love for his son, but fact is Neil wants to spend time with his kid, he wants this permanent custody because he has been deprived of his kid for 10long years, just because Neil deals with the pain of his broken relationship with Avni or is trying to move on doesn't mean he doesn't love his son.

When the kid was in his house for barely one day (upcoming OLV) how can we expect that he will be papa number 1 and how can he know whether he will take care of Mowgli as good as Avni or not when all this is new for him

I understand no one likes the Mithali angle or Neil wanting to move on but that doesn't mean Neil is some monster devoid of all emotions

I am at work so can't write much! But honestly had it with Mithali's platitudes? What's the sense in this character? She has none?

Neil is a wreck we can't expect much from him! He's trying to be good to the person he promised he will have a life with! He's a good guy? What else do we logically expect him to do? He doesn't think Avni wants him?

But no self respect is something I can't stand in women! Hence my dislike of Mithali!

That's all true and well, but there are still two things that make me disagree with neil highly. For one, during that 24 hour custody, he spent most of it ignoring mowgli's emotions and longing for his mother, in favour of trying to sway him with toys and stuff in the hope that he will like living there more in khanna house than with avni. He was practically trying to bribe the kid into getting him away from his mother on to his side, which is also why neil said in court that he can provide mowgli with all the comforts. It would have been better as a father if he spent that time getting to know his son and understanding him rather than merely trying to spoil him to get him to his side.

The second thing is that if the issue was that he wanted to spend more time with mowgli and make up for the lost 10 years, why apply for main custody of mowgli, and have him taken away from avni where mowgli will have to live away from his mother, when neil could have spent time with mowgli and demanded from avni, as a father that he be given the right to meet his child whenever he wants? Why take the child away from an environment and mother he has become so used to in the name of making up for lost time? Why put the child through all this emotional pain of separation from his mother? Now that neil had got to know that mowgli was his son, if instead of trying to steal mowgli from avni, he demanded avni to let him see his son whenever he wants and spend time with him, she would in no way refuse as her fear of him stealing mowgli from her in anger would have been proven wrong. It was neil's anger that drove this decision for custody, not love of a son. For his own stubbornness and anger, he has caused emotional pain to that child. All this just to spend time with his child is just a stupid excuse to me from neil's side. And if he didn't trust that avni would give him permission, then so be it, go to court and get legal permission to meet your child whenever you want, and if avni disagrees to this court notice he could threaten to file for his full custody, but he didn't do that.

It angers me that neil did this when he knows that he has a family and a crazy girl in love with him who are there to look after him, and who he can live for, but avni has only mowgli, and he decided to still go for full custody. Why? Selfishness. 🤢
