Yet again I'm back. This time it's because I have seen this clip on YouTube which I wanted to share because it affected me. Couldnt hold back. I really liked Zain as a person off screen but seeing him make what I think is an irresponsible statement has affected me personally. Thats my problem ofcourse. But i guess I've learnt now that we should distinguish between the character n actor...just because we like the character we should not get so attached to the actors themselves. Because then itll save us the disappointment of seeing stuff like this.
My own take is that Its one thing to like someone and be a fan but it's very ignorant to come out n to make a statement that this is being done to satisfy someone's "ego". This is acourt case for killing an endangered animal not some petty thing. Ya it's taken very long for the verdict, but that's unfortunately the case in India...legal issues take forever to settle. Just because he's now a star and there's money riding on his film he cannot get away for a crime...he has been convicted.
As a public person himself i feel zain should exercise some restraint on issues like this...aditis response was SO much more mature. Even though she was put in the spot she diplomatically put her point. Even though i think she shouldn't have even said she's Happy to see him out, it was an honest and smart response. She said as a fan she's happy he's out but she doesn't know about the case so she won't say more.

Respect for you girl!

Anyway I don't know if this post will stir up emotions here or not but I feel strongly about this issue so I wanted to post this.

Will disappear again now. Tata!

I honestly agree, just because someone is famous or has done charity work doesn't mean they are above law, we don't know whether Salman is innocent or not, I mean we don't know him personally but if court has made the verdict that he is guilty then people should avoid supporting blindly even if they are fans, supporting a person who might be guilty being released is wrong!

To each their own and I have no right to judge but I hope Zain learns to make responsible statements and to see things logically.

Aditi in one of her interview said that Zain doesn't think anything when he makes a comment though later he feels guilty . I think this is what she was trying to say.

Doing charity work does not absolve you from crime! The last time he got away with hit and run! I remember reading people were rallying that he should be relased after he was convicted of dangerous driving causing death or man slaughter. How can people have so little respect for the law? It's clear people with money and expensive lawyers can get away with anything!

Even in the West people get away with things. But here normally fans don't rally on streets to release someone that's been convicted! The fact that each of these cases, hit and run and killing of endangered species took 18+ years is a joke! A shame on the legal system of India!

Be a fan! But not a blind fan! That's all I have to say to everyone! A principle we should all follow!

I guess Zain doesn't think before he speaks. He needs a publicist for real.Anyways I dnt hv much to say on dt.I'm here to say something else.

Legal system of India is a poor example of legal system only.Dnt know how it works in other countries though.
Thousands and thousands of piling cases . Thousands of victims waiting to see d light of justice.Thousands of cases yet to be heard.People aged waiting to a fair trial!! Rapes, Murders , abductions ,acid attacks etc etc.So many important cases that demand justice are ignored. But everyone is so focused on a killing of an endangered animal.Y?? Because it's a celebrity case.Frankly not interested in d case at all.
The animal is not waiting wid weary eyes for justice to arrive. But uncountable no. of humans are waiting for der cases to even being heard. If d legal system wants to set an example...it better start looking at real cases;Lessen d burden and grief of real victims.

Many endangered species hv become extinct over d years. How? People r killing d animals. How many hv been arrested and put behind bars? One ,two or three.Dts how our legal system works.

Dts just my opinion.
Feel free to disagree.
I'm neither for nor against Salman Khan's arrest...coz I simply dnt care abt it.

I haven't yet watched this video, and will when I get the time, but personally I never take every little thing actors say to heart as they are put on the spot when asked such questions and they often don't speak real sense or give their true opinion, so I would have rather hoped that Zain gave a simple answer to this question. If the court has given a guilty verdict on salman's cases, then he isn't above the law just because there are many people who adore him. It's giving men too much leverage to abscond the law through power and influence which is the reason for years upon years of entertainment industry men getting away with sexually abusing women. It's not on, and with Zain being asked this question on the spot, and him having the knack of saying things often without really thinking makes me give him the benefit of doubt.

Wow!! Love you girl for making this post. I completely agree with you. I guess i should learn to distinguish reel and real characters. Doing charity work doesn't make him not guilty. I still remember that accident case. He simply got out because he has money. What about those pavement dwellers..?? Doesn't they have right to live..?? Supporting actors like Salman over these legal issues.. its too much. Instances like this make me lose my trust in Indian judiciary. Salman's arrogance is another thing. Its disgusting that there are still people out there supporting him. When i got to see an instagram post about Zain supporting Salman, i honestly lost my respect and admiration towards Zain.
Yesterday there Ranbir and Saroj Khan made in to news reg their insensitivity towards fellow human beings. Unfortunately people like us ( fans) are making them stars. Justifying every single wrongs doings, we are giving them oportunity to exploit us.

Be a fan of some one is not a crime. But dont be a blind one. Dont start justifying every single wrong doings.

Do you think these celebrities have guts to speak their mind? I've seen that when an ex big boss contestant said that Salman deserved punishment and must be put behind bars, everyone pounced on her insta account and gave her rape and death threats.. Why? Just because she had guts to speak against a big and influential personality! Leave about this, what about the hit and run case, some celebrities stooped so low that they said kaun sotha hai foot path pe? Galti salman ki nahi uss aadmi ki hai!!!Just imagine, a common man killing another person, these Bollywood celebrities would have been protesting on their social media with placards!! Such is the hypocrisy of Bollywood. They're too scared to talk against Salman, is what I feel. Well, if a person can get away with a big crime like killing a human, he can definitely get away with this!

Yeah I heard that Salman ruined Vivek Oberoi's bollywood career just because he started dating Aiswarya Rai. He also did similar things to others. Jr. Bachan is spared because he has Senior Bachan for support. But i dont knw why AB is out of films since a few years. So i really think May be these stars are afraid of him or his brutal body guard. Anyway i got to see an insta post of Zain supporting salman.
