Good episode tonight, at the very least more characters got screen space which is something was needed given how frustrated fans were becoming with too much Sayesha. I loved seeing the fire to Avni's character, this side to her has been sorely missed and she said all the right things to KK and Kamini the same goes for Neil.
Neil continues to prove how much he loves Avni, the fact he could not see her so upset over Sayesha and telling her to take a deep breath that everything will be okay this was definitely a glimpse of the old AvNeil. Neil would always be that calming affect for Avni, with him by her side she could always weather any storm. There was no anger in his eyes or voice, this was Avni's Neil.
The Mowgli and Pinky scene reminded me of AdiZa, they were the mini me versions of Aditi and Zain tonight and it was cute! I love the chocolate love. There still seems to be talk about Mowgli being Avni and Neil's son but he is not, there is a reason the writers never wanted to make Avni and Neil parents and why Sayesha was never adopted. I don't think anything will change with different writers especially since logically it makes no sense, Avni would not ignore her own child or have her child call her Jaan Didi. It is safe to say Mowgli is not Avni and Neil's son he is just another kid that Avni is fighting for to give the life she was deprived of.
Sunheri is friendship goals! I really love that she was brought back and is Avni's confidante, her scenes are a treat to watch. Speaking of friendship I am glad the CVs cleared things between Mitali and Neil because it did look odd she was helping Avni and Neil despite everything that happened. Mitali is definitely back to being herself, she is not grey shaded or negative and will hopefully play a role in bringing Avni and Neil closer.
Sayesha gets slapped, she deserves this a more. I am glad Bebe thought more about Avni and it was not about thinking of poor Sayesha, yes she broke Avni today and everything Avni fought so hard to teach these kids. Avni was written very realistically here.
Overall a good episode, fast paced and like I mentioned above it was about balance and giving more of this cast something to do. If they continue such balance things can work especially with the upcoming AvNeil scene where Neil gets drunk and refuses Avni's help. I am hoping this show works for the sake of Aditi and Zain otherwise it would be giving SP what they wanted in terms of trying to sabotage this show.
