oh! Pcos is also called pcod

That is polycystic ovarian syndrome . It is a fairly common cause of infertility in women, where in the eggs in ovary turn into follicular cyst.

Umm... Lets just say the eggs turn into multilobuled kind of structures and then conception will not take place.

It is usually seen in obese females who have irregular menstrual cycles. And is usually treatable with regular exercise, eating healthy, weight loss and some pills/medication .

PCOS/ PCOD stands for polycystic ovarian syndrome / disease.Here the ovaries become bulky...surrounded by cysts ( these are similar to water filled balloon) ...so that damage the ovary... which causes difficulty in ovum production.,irregular cycles...and leads to female infertility.

Usually associated with obesity.Its a very common cause of infertility.

Very curable too...weight loss, pills, exercise and healthy eating habits.
