Hello Everyone, it's been a long time and hope all are doing great too...
Looks like the leap isn't helping the show or the trp as the CVs anticipated, but I don't want to get into that as I'm sure a lot of you already discussed that. I just wanted to write about something and took inspiration from the CVs themselves. So, my inspiration comes from the CVs' effort to try convincing us that Avni is the next neelama of the show. Avni ma, even the sound of it sounds so weird. So, this is how I feel about this whole thing...
Firstly, when Neelama did the disappearing act with choti Avni, she had legitimate reasons behind that. She had no supportive husband, no family except nanno who was no match against DVM, and neither was the law on her side. She literally had no one to count on when she tried to save a dying orphan kid. While on the other side, Avni had a very supportive loving husband, a perfect family by her own words, and this time the law too was on her side. Coming to the kid, Mishti wasn't a kid who was dying who needed to be saved desperately, neither did she have to take her with her to vidyut during her last stunt. So no, Avni isn't Neelama.
Secondly, Neelama raised a daughter who was intelligent, street smart, and above all a compassionate human being. Neelama raised the kind of daughter who found sympathy towards dhiksha for the way DVM treated her. What Avni has raised is a spoilt brat, who is not only downright mean and selfish, but uses others for her own selfish reasons and doesn't even feel guilty about it. Honestly, when I watched the first episode post leap, I thought I was going to get a pampered, but nevertheless a sensitive grownup mishti and how Avni managed to give her a normal childhood compared to her's, but the CVs let me down there too. So, no again.
Lastly, Neelama taught her daughter to fight, not run away. She never hurt her loved ones on purpose. Now CVs want to show Avni as a scared/scarred soul post leap, who is afraid of a lot of things, yet they also want to show she taught mishti all her martial arts moves in today's episode. Now CVs, you cannot have it both ways, either she is a scaredy-cat or a ferocious tigress, you have to decide. Now people might justify Avni had no other choice, so she chose to fake her death. To be honest, I rather would have liked to see Avni taking law in her hand and kill vidyut instead, because this time her reasons would have been justifiable. Also could have gotten rid of both vidyut by murder and mishti by sending her away. Anything would have been better than killing her loved ones by faking her death, which clearly didn't serve any purpose. Once everyone knows she is alive, it's going to be the same saga again- avneil versus vidyut, which we have been seeing for the past 5 months.
So nope, I don't accept Avni is the next Neelama, Avni is nowhere near her and I rest my case.
PS: Don't want to comment on the newcomers or address them, because I don't see how they served any purpose in the show. Just one doubt though that keeps popping up, did anyone from PH promise the actor playing mishti that she would be a parallel lead, given the SS and the track??
Adios amigos...
