This was an honest and good interview. He is right. I dont know why they dont count digital views, it doesnt make sense. Why do they post on hotstar if it doesnt count towards the show's trp? Honestly watching on tv is outdated. Most people are busy and they want to watch when its convenient.

what he is saying is true.

he is not discounting his online audience but just stating a fact that NK has bigger digital audience. so either hotstar is stopped or its value is also counted.

he is just saying that for this show to run it has to be seen on TV.

he is not being mean to his fans.

he gave a straight forward answer to the question asked.

Zain in always misunderstood by his own fans.

I echo the comments about watching TV shows on streaming sites. And, yes Star Plus and other Channels need to factor in the Digital audience before making cancellation decisions on TV ratings! That's comparing apples with oranges! Business development at Star Plus obvious has tunnel vision and this will lead to not just loss of TV rankings but ultimately a loss in expanding their business globally.

The latest TRPs only prove Zain's point, the show is suffering because many watch on Hotstar as opposed to on T.V. where viewership counts. Zain has the right to worry about the future of his show. I would hate to see this show come to an end in the coming months because the TRP audience has failed to accept it or chose to watch on other platforms. Zain has the right to fight for his show, if fans can do it why can't he??

I just adore their bond. Just hope trp increases :)

I just love how Zain always speaks his heart out in his interviews and i always look up to them...totally agree with him about the issues related to TRPs and HS premium..!! And about his equation with Aditi ..i loved the way he confessed that he likes her smiling all the time..( probably this is the reason for his staring session 😛 ) . He was so adorable about the part that ' without her there is no fun on the sets ' ...this was something i least expected he would say about her one day..!! Have always seen him having fun with the team - Esp. Jahaan and his masti is on another level..!! No doubt he and Aditi used to laugh a lot but then never thought her presence would make such an impact that he feels bored if she isn't around 😉 ..!! And tbh i never thought Aditi did any masti or had fun on the sets..!! This line absolutely had my heart 😳 How sweet of him to say something like this for his co-star cum good friend 😆
Well...probably i agree with all others here that they indeed have come a long way and surely have a long to go!!
Who would have thought they would be this much comfortable with each other and Zain would say things like these..but then as they say "WONDERS NEVER CEASE "
May their bond always grow by leaps and bounds .. and may God bless them ..!! 👏
