Avni & Neil. Two individuals who love each other immensely. They can give up themselves for each other. Whose love is stronger? Who deserves whom? Can their love be measured? Do we really have an answer to these questions? Both are in pain. Both are suffering. Whose pain is deeper? Whose suffering is greater?
He broke her heart & trust when he broke his relationship with her. He broke all ties with her and arrested her for a crime she never did. He imprisoned her and kept himself away from her for six months. Was it because he hated her? Or was it because he didn't love her enough? No. He did it for her safety. He wanted to protect her from her own reckless self & Vidyut.
She broke him and sucked his life out of him by staging her death in front of him. She chose to take away all his happiness with her. She let him become a hollow shell. Is it because she fell out of love with him? Did the love she had for him reduce with time? Or is it because she is selfish? No. She did it for his safety. She wanted to protect him from herself; from her bad luck. And from Vidyut.
Can you really blame her for considering herself as a bad omen? That is what she has been hearing from her childhood. A sin! A bad omen! And why wouldn't she believe it? Everything & every single person related to her had suffered. One by one, all her loved ones were snatched from her. First her mother, then her father, and then her second mother. Her brother hated her. But the moment he reformed himself & started loving her, he too was snatched away from her. Everyone who loved her either lost their lives or lost their peace of mind. Can you imagine the life she lived? At the time she should have been playing and making friends, she was detested by the society & was labelled as an illegitimate. At the time she should have been pampered by her parents, she had to become her mother's pillar of strength. She was forced to act elder than her age. Her innocence got lost somewhere in between. She had to take care of her pregnant mother when her father busy planning his second marriage. Her mother was murdered by her own grandmother. Her baby brother, the only person she held close to, was snatched from her. She was accused of murdering her mother. Her father disowned her and got her arrested. Her grandmother tortured her to no end and at last tried to kill her. Luckily her Neela Maa came like an angel and saved her. She took her under her wings and protected from the ruthless world. She grew up trying to mend her broken self. Her thirst for revenge and her love for her brother became the only motive of her life.
After waiting for 15 long years she came back to extract her revenge and get her brother back. But in that journey she found her solace, her Neil. The guy who was a road block to her revenge plans went on to become the sole reason for her existence. His family became the happy family she always craved for. They accepted her to the family and gave her a very special place in all of their hearts. They loved her with all her flaws. Neil became the centre of her world. The dreams which were locked away in some corner of her heart became a reality with Neil coming into her life. Avni loves boundlessly. And she is fiercely protect of the ones she love. After losing everything in life, do you think she will take a risk when it comes to her family? Prakash is the father she never had. He accepted her as his daughter the very moment she stepped into his house. She found another mother in Shweta. Bebe became the ideal grandmother for her. Above all is Neil. She would cease to exist if something happens to him. If someone with a weaker heart and will was in her place, they would have given up long back. But Avni held on. She held on for 29 damn years. (Well, that's according to pure mathematics. According to her recent death report she is 24 years old. Anyway, doesn't matter. I'm going off track.) She would have still held her ground and fought with Vidyut if it was just about her. But here her family's life was at stake. Neela Maa's death had just cemented her belief of being a bad omen. Can you really blame her for that? From the time she entered the Khanna house, they always had some or the other threat looming over them.
Logically speaking too, she was right in her position. Vidyut would have stopped at nothing to achieve Avni. He even betrayed his mother and got her killed for that. Why would he think twice before doing the same to Khanna's? He wasn't giving her plain threats when he said he'll destroy them. He would definitely have done that. He won't hesitate to take their lives. So Avni did all in her capacity to safeguard them. And she succeeded in it too. The danger named Vidyut is no more looming over them. Though without her, they have been living a peaceful life for the past ten years. Though broken to a point of no repair, Neil is still alive. What would she have done if her staying with him would have killed him? Keeping herself away from him, she kept him alive.
Now if you ask me what Avni did was right or wrong, I really don't know. It depends upon the perspective. Her intentions were never malicious. She did what she did to protect her loved ones. She chose to sacrifice her love & happiness for his safety. And he did the same when he imprisoned her. He chose her safety over their love & happiness. So who is wrong in this situation? None. Can you compare their love for each other? Is it fair to them? Avni may have taken a wrong decision. But if we look from her P.O.V., she isn't wrong. If you have to blame someone, blame the circumstances. Avni doesn't deserve the hatred she is getting. Living the life she lived and staying strong amidst everything is not easy. I admire her for that.
So kindly stop comparing AvNeil's love for each other. It's like belittling their feelings. They deserve each other because no one can love them the way they do. Please don't demean the purity of their love.
