AvNeil OS : You're Mine Forever !

Neil was searching something in the room when his eyes got fixed on his wifey who was sitting on the couch in the balcony looking as breathtaking as ever in her red and gold saree, subtle makeup, Mangalsutra and vermilion in her hair parting. He had a naughty smile looking at the silky smooth waist that laid bare in her saree. He walked towards her and laid his hand on her waist. Avni came to the present from her reverie with that sudden touch. She looked around and saw Neil sat beside her and was having naughty thoughts. She jerked him and got up from the couch and sat on the swing and looked the other side. There was some sort of rage on her face. She seemed angry. Neil didn't understand and walked towards her and sat in front of her on his knees. "What happened sweetheart?" He asked taking her hand in his. She took back her hand ignoring his question. He grew worried. The only time she ignores him is when she is really angry at him and more than that when she's really hurt is when she goes so silent. "Please Avni. Temme Jaan. What happened? Did I do something wrong?" He asked in a soft voice looking deep into her black stars. A tear escaped her eyes and she wiped it quickly. Neil grew restless. The last thing he would want to see is those precious pearls in her eyes. "Avni." He said holding onto her hand ever more tight.

More tears made its way down her cheeks. And Avni leaned in and hugged Neil. Neil held her back and assured her that he's there for her. "Jaan. Please tell what happened? Has anybody said anything to you?" Neil wanted to know the reason of this sudden change in her behaviour. Avni broke the hug and wiped tears. Neil gave her his handkerchief and she wiped the overflow of the tears through her nose. "Now temme?" Neil asked when she felt better after crying. "Wo. I came to your office today." She said in a low voice. "What ! When? Why didn't you meet me then?" Neil asked. "I came with lunch to surprise you but..." she stopped thinking what happened. "But what Avni?" Neil asked curiously. "I saw your friend Mitali holding your hand and smiling playfully and even you seemed happy with her." She said and again some tears swam in her twinkling eyes. "What !" Neil said in disbelief.

"Itni choti baat and you cried this much. You're unbelievable sweetheart." Neil said and chuckled a bit. Avni looked at him and got up and stood against the railing looking at the stars. "Tum nahi samjhoge Neil." She said looking at the star shining brightly. Neil stood beside her and made her face him. "Toh samjhao mujhe." He said looking into her eyes. "You know Neil. I lost my parents when I was twelve. Then Neela Maa looked after me. She gave me all the love she could but that void of my parents' departure couldn't be filled. Then you happened. I got someone who was completely mine, whom I could share deepest of the secret with and now i don't want to share my newly found love cum best friend with anyone. I have grown very possessive about you. When I saw you with Mitali I felt I lost you. I don't know. Call it a wife's jealousy or a lover's insecure nature or anything you wanna term but. I can't afford to lose you. You have become as important as oxygen is, for my living. You know when I saw Mitali today holding you I remembered you told me she was your ex girlfriend. She is beautiful. Beautiful than me. When you were laughing with her I thought you got back that affection you held for her once upon a time during your training days." Avni said telling him the deepest of her fears.

Neil looked at her. His heart was aching seeing the pain his wifey had gone through because of him though it was unintentional. He pecked her lips and held her face in his arms. "Avni. I don't know what you saw and assumed. All I can tell you honestly is that you're my wifey. It's you whose love changed me. Mitali and all other girls that ever came into my life just came and went. It's you who stayed here." He said pointing at the place where his heart lies. "Avni. I love you like a crazy maniac. I love you with all my soul. Mitali is just a colleague who by chance happens to be my ex. But I think ex is a past and past can never become present. You're present and my future Jaan." He said and hugged her. Avni felt secured now. "You're just mine. Samjhe." She said near his neck. Neil hugged her harder. "I know that babe" he said inhaling the smell of her hair.
