Seventh Os- Surprise

Avni smiled back at the progress of the clinic. They had an excellent crew and architect working on things. She wanted this clinic to start running on the full scale soon. They had already recruited some doctors and nurses to work here. They were to have a banquet once it was almost completed to get donations and spread awareness for their cause.

Avni adjusted her shoulder bag more firmly as she headed towards where the car was supposed to be waiting for her.

Suddenly a black cloth was covering her face. She tried to yell but strong firm arms lifted her and placed her in the backseat of a vehicle.

Her hands were tied despite her attempts of struggling with her captor. She groaned inwardly.

If it was before her jail sentence, she would muttered something about her husband being a cop. But since her stint in jail, she had not pulled that card with anyone.

It had been almost a year since Juhi came into their lives bringing twists and turned that threatened their future together. Then sometime later she had been framed for her murder. She had finally had a new, fresh purpose in life, and now she had been kidnapped again.

Well the first one had been sorta a plan, this one wasn't as far it went from her end anyways.

The captor drove for sometime until they stopped at crowded area. She heard more cars and people where they were now. Maybe she could free herself and get back home or something.

Suddenly she felt someone kneeling over her figure and untie her hands and take off the cloth off her head. She was about to yell and kick whoever it was but then she realized it was a familiar scent.

It was none other than her husband.

"Neil why are you taking me like this? What is going on?

Neil sighed.

"Wifey I had no other choice. You keep getting into trouble or immersing yourself in some kind of work. If I am to get to have a proper honeymoon with you, I realized it had to be this way, Neil admitted.

She glared at him stunned.

As Neela Ma would say she was a total tube light.

She sighed.

"Theek hai. Lekin hum kahan jare hai?

"Maldives.

" I haven't packed anything and what about our passports?

Neil grinned.

"All done. All you have to do is come along now, he replied.

She took a deep breath and took his outstretched hand.

Several hours later..

They had landed a short while and headed to a nice villa by the beach. Goa had mixed memories for them. Here they could start fresh. She hoped they would discover each other more and she would figure out what to do next in life.

She peeked into her suitcase and squealed about some of the items in her bag.

Neil emerged from the other room and tried to peek at the contents.

"What's wrong Avni?

"Look at what our mothers packed. I can't wear this!

She pointed to a two piece flimsy looking bathing suit.

He tried not to laugh.

"Avni relax there may be a coverup or we can go shopping in the morning, he quipped.

"I will look awful in it. I am not a model type, she wailed.

Neil just had to glare at his wife demean herself for a moment.

How could she say that about herself ? She was beautiful and he loved everything about her. He would never change a thing.

He stopped her by pulling her close to himself.

He only could think of one way to stop her fretting and to also show her how he felt about her.

Avni didn't realize when his lips met hers, but she responded willingly.

When they stood back after nearly becoming breathless, she took a few deep breaths and turned to hide her blushing face.

" That was amazing, she whispered .

He turned her back to face him. He caressed her face and hair.

"We have a private hot tub and small pool in the back. It will be just me and you. You don't need to worry, he promised.

She smiled softly back at him.

This time she initiated the kiss.

She ended up wearing short, sexy, nighty made up of lace and silk to bed. But once she spotted her husband's expression, she knew it wouldn't last on her person too long.

Nearly two years ago, when she had first married Neil, she never expected him to change her world for the better. Most of all she didn't expect him to be the only one to actually stay and show her what love was about. She was looking forward to this honeymoon.

Eighth Os

She felt warm fingertips tickle her spine and then she moaned when she felt his lips from her cheekbones down her spine. She could feel the bristles of his beard and warmth of his cheeks and breath against her exposed skin as he lowered the sheets further.

Feeling vulnerable as it was now morning, she rolled a small distance away. Intimacy was still new between them. She would still get flustered of course.

He smiled knowing he had her all to himself for once and there would be no interruptions to his ministrations this morning.

He blew hair out of her forehead and reached out to urge her back into his arms. She obliged and leaned back into his warmth. It was still early and neither had any work or anyplace to be besides here in each other's arms.

His hands skimmed her curves and then his lips followed. She could not resist him even on the slightest chance she wanted to.

After a few moments, she being the tigress she had become many moons ago, she flipped them that she was now hovering over him this time.

He was stunned at her boldness. But soon he broke out into a smile realizing she was trying to exert her control over him. His lady don had to eventually show her true colors. She would not let him subdue her every time so easily. She would make it a battle even if she knew she would lose the war gladly because she loved him.

"Kya irade hain aap ke Lady Don?, he inquired.

" To get you back for everything you have done Mr. Supercop, she hissed.

He smirked.

"So let's have it Mrs. Khanna, he said with glee.

They spent sometime romancing before getting up to put their swimming pool and hot tub into use.

They raced each other to see who could have the most number of laps. They warmed up in the hot tub, before showering in the luxury shower.

Neil grabbed her by the waist with a towel.

"No Neil! We should at least get some sunshine in. What will everyone think?

"That we were so lost in each other , we had no time for anything else, he muttered.

She nudged him, he held on tightly.

She leaned in and bit his earlobe. He grimaced as she took the opportunity to run off to get ready.

Neil put on khaki shorts and a light blue shirt. Avni glanced quickly to take in how handsome he looked. Why had she waited to long to show him she loved him? She was grateful that they were back together this way. She shuddered if they hadn't tried so hard to save each other in those crucial moments, they would not have this beautiful present.

Her reverie was broken when she felt his kisses her exposed shoulders. She had worn a spaghetti strapped sundress for their afternoon out.

Their stomachs growled .

They chuckled and clasped hands as they headed off to have lunch.

The waitress kept on flirting with Neil.

Avni gave her dirty looks. Finally when she almost landed in Neil's lap, Avni got up to yank her away, but she quickly scurried away realizing Avni's boiling anger.

Neil chuckled.

"Yaar relax. She was harmless, he insisted.

Avni was fuming and stomped outside.

Neil paid their tab and rushed after her.

"Avni !, he yelled catching up with her.

She was luckily pacing only some distance away. Since he kept fit himself, he was able to reach her.

"Avni yaar what if something happened to you? Please next time don't run off like this, he admonished with concern.

She took a deep breath after Neil let go her of her upper arms.

"Sorry Neil. I just can't stand it when someone tries to get close to you like that, she muttered.

He kissed her forehead and hugged her.

"Chalo let's go sightseeing and take some pictures to send home, he quipped.

She brightened up and they continued on their way.

Avni and Neil went water skiing. Since it warm their clothes dried quickly. They next headed to go shopping and clicked some pictures along the way. In the evening, they went to a bonfire where other young couples were lounging around. A couple from Australia had supplies for smores. So everyone made their own and munched on them. Someone had brought some brandy.

Neil tried to keep Avni from drinking it, but she had some somehow. Knowing his wife had only had alcohol or bhang a few times before, he realized he was in for an interesting night.

She started to sway once some light music played.

He caught her everytime of course. After a few minutes of her antics, he picked her up in his arms. He carried her back to their cottage.

Neil laid Avni down on the bed, or tried to as she kept trying to fight him to go back outside.

He got her sandals off of her.

She jumped back up, her limbs wrapped around his torso.

" I love you Neil!

" I love you too Avni!

She suddenly gagged.

"Please no Avni,don't throw up on me, he pleaded.

She pushed past him and ran into the bathroom.

A few minutes later realizing there was no signs of throwing up or her coming out, he followed her inside.

She was sitting in the shower semi-unconscious .

He shook his head.

He turned on the shower head.

She was immediately drenched and muttered she couldn't even throw up properly.

He was reminded of Holi two years ago. When he didn't know who she really was and there was barely any relationship between them.

He never expected to be here with her like this back then anyway.

His reverie was broken when she pulled him in the shower with her.

She kissed him deeply. She knocked out soon after that. He stepped back and shook his head.

He got up to turn off the shower.

Neil picked her up again and started to dry her off. He helped her change into a dry shirt of his and tucked her into bed. He went to quickly change and dry off before joining her back in their bed.

He sighed gazing at his wife. He was so glad they were here like this. He gently kissed her forehead before curling up besides her.
