I have never tried any English shows . If you know some suggest . I always feel that Rowling didn't do justice with Malfoy and Snape . In Snape's case he had redemption when he dies but in case of Malfoy she never dealt with his inner turmoil. When she brings him as important as Ron or Hermione I expected her to deal with his emotions more . Agreed the story is about Harry and his adventures and relationships still there is no harm in dedicating a chapter for Malfoy's feelings
Well, Malfoy is a very very complex character with more grey shades than 50 shades could ever show. But he had started to show redeeming qualities starting the 6th book. He could not kill Dumbledore. He did help Harry in his own way in tha Malfoy manor, and he felt indebted to him when harry saved him in the room of requirement. the last station scene where he nods at harry accentuate the fact that eventhough they aren't friends ,they acknowledge each other.
Plus, have you read the cursed child? If you have you'll realize Malfoy is nothing like his own father. he loves scorpius, thinks about his happiness , never pressurizes him and is a good father. Plus he helps Harry save albus. I think, and that is just my opinion, that was all the redemption Malfoy needed.
