Even though I like the optimism in your post, I personally found the episode quite illogical. And scenes some how felt not properly connected.
I didn't understand avni's flip personality either. Kidding and joking with Neil at one moment, then angry again. Forgiving at times and then stating he always wears a mask. May be she is as confused as I was about today's episode.Okay, she found out about neo. And connected the dots. But the whole process of finding out felt not connected. She went to the library twice. She talked with monica at the library twice. Those scenes, if done together would have made more sense. What kind of jail is this?? No one suspects a thing.Again, avni is not concentrating on her own mission. Vidyut se badla. She knows monica is involved with vidyut. So, do something to exploit information from her instead of talking about pyaar ishq and mohobbat with her. Because monica is surely playing you. Your tai-chi practicing self should know about it.Mexico and lab! Ye PH wale bade bade countries ke naam kyu lete hai, jabki they don't even take the leads to Goa for an outdoor shoot! First Auckland, NZ and now Mexico. Now, I get the whole mexico and drug lord relationship. But what is Neela going to do there?? I am sure she will make a call to Neil from Mexico and tell him some half cooked details. And Neil khanna is one confused soul. Decide karle, whether you want to tell avni or not. Whether you want to convince Vidyut Neo is a girl or not? Whether you want to have a romantic or angsty relationship with avni or not. Because ye pal me tola pal me masha mere samajh ke bahar hai.It was a kind of filler episode. At least for me. Logic aside, it was funny. Especially AvNeil scene. And sunehri saying bedardi balma and stuff. Rest, I am sorry, I didn't feel connected to it
I totally get where you are coming from and I don't disagree.
Truth is, there are just too many loopholes in this track that fundamentally my logical brain can never overlook, but trust me, since the past few episodes , the kind of switch shown in personalities of Avni and Neil as individuals, I have sort of given up on the logical bit.
I have made peace with the fact that I am watching Naamkarann, an Indian daily soap and not Prison Break or Suits! Yes, such comparisons shouldn't be made but when writers do a shoddy job and meddle with the character sketches of such beautiful leads, there's nothing we can do.
I am still solely watching this show only for AvNeil and AdiZa like most of you all are and the story is something that went for a toss ever since Chuhi made her entry. Yes it has gotten better but these constant disconnects between scenes don't sit well with me either.
Even I found Avni's humour induced sudden behaviour way too unrelatable and so was Neil's Demeanor.
I understand his majboori but why all the sass for Avni when it is uncalled for?
Again, logic and ITV do not go hand in hand.
So I just am taking it at face value TBH and just hoping against hope that they make AvNeil's alliance against Vidyut at least a tad bit sensible alongside Neil's Revelation to Avni on why he did what he did.
But again, keeping my expectations as low as Chuhi's acting standards, but a hope so deep, you can see Adele rolling in it! 😆
