Avni was standing in the court having proved Vidyut responsible for Juhi's murder and proving herself innocent.It gave much relief to Avni but relief was brought with heartache due to Neil and Neela ma's planning.She felt isolated due to their act.They were the most trusted them the most even more than her self.She had been still roting in jail if her friends had not bailed her out.One of them being one of the most charming lawyers in Mumbai Shikhar Mehra.He was her very good friend since the day she had started studying in Delhi.He was a fantastic lawyer and one in Mumbai could match up with him.

Shikhar (happily)-Congratulations Avni..You are free to go.

Avni-Thanks so much Shikhar.

Shikhar-Oh god seriously since when does a friend thank other friend.You maybe DCP's wife but first you are my best friend.

Avni (without any emotions)-I am not any DCP's wife anymore Shikhar.I am just Avni Ayesha.Shikhar can you prepare my divorce papers please.

Shikhar (astonished)-Are you sure Avni ?? Don't you want you to talk it with Neil or Neela ma ?

Avni-It's over between me and Neil now.He broke my trust.And where there is no trust there cannot last any marraige.I will convey my decision to everybody when I visit Khanna House today.You can send the papers on my behalf.

Shikhar-Ok.Take care Avni.

Neil was standing there listening to the conversation of Avni and her lawyer.His heart broke hearing her decision but she cannot do this to Neela ma, she is her mother.She cannot leave him like this.She was his sunlight.He would talk to her when she visited home to take her luggage.

Bebe (happily)-Hamari bahu aati hi hogi Sweta.Jaldi kar.

Sweta-Ji Bebe.But I am not sures if she will forgive Neil immediately.Tillu lies to her and Neelaji too.

Bebe-Dekhte hai woh kya kehne aayi hai.

Avni set her foot inside the house,her house which Neil bought for her.But all those memories had vanished when Neil had set his plan in motion without telling Avni.Avni saw Neela ma,Neil,Sweta,Bebe and Prakash along with DD and Ali standing near the entrance to welcome her.Avni thought to burst the balloon before the celebrations start.

Avni (Hugging Bebe and Sweta)-Bebe,Mummyji how are you ? Aur Bebe aap aise kyu ho gaye ho.Punjabi log aise thodi na hote hai.

Bebe (crying)-Oye tu nahi hoti thi na khilane ke liye isiliye aisa hua mere saath.

Avni (wiping her tears)-Dekho aab mai jail se bahar aa gayi hu na.Aab aap firse punjabi ban jao.!!

Sweta (hugging Avni)-Kya matlab tu Jail se bahar aa gayi he.Are you not coming back in theis house ??

Avni-Actually I wanted to make an announcement.If Neil is at home maybe I could talk to him.

Sweta-Bheema Neil ko bula ke lao.

Neela (crying)-Avni baccha please meri taraf dekho bhi nahi ek baar ??

Avni (angrily)-Well you didnt make the plan asking me did you Ma !!

Neil-You needed to talk to me Avni ?? The house is yours you can come inside.

Avni (strongly)-Neil tomorrow morning my lawyer will come with package of papers for you to sign.

Neil-WHat is it that you want me to sign ?

Avni-Divorce papers !! Please sign it so we can part mutual ways.

Neil (angrily)-Avni I am going to sign any of those stupid papers.We have a problem we can solve it.

Avni (angrily)-No Neil we don't have any problem.You have a problem in trusting me so this is it for us.You are free from this marraige.And please it fast because I leave for Boston this week.

Neela-No baccha mai tumhe meri galti ki sajah Neil ko nahi dene doogi.

Avni-Enough !! You both did what seemed fit to you now I am doing what seems fit to me.

I had mentioned in a previous post about introducing a lawyer to help avni because Neel even as neo has not accomplished much in 6 months...I guess the writers have conveniently forgotten that even after getting arrested charges have to be proven in court. They have left it for us to assume I guess that she has been sentenced. Or more likely is that they think just because Neel put her in jail there's no need for any trial!

Loved it to bits!! It wasn't just amazing! 👏 but plz don't let Avni forgive Neil and Neela Ma that easily cause they have made her suffer a lot and have damaged that poor soul 😭 keep her strong and independent!!! Do continue soon 😊

Yes well there has to be a lawyer.Law is evrything until law proves you innocent nothing else can prove you innocent not even Neo.

yes she will be strong and independent and even Neil will see how much damaged Jail has made her.

There was complete silence in the living room of Khanna House.Everybody knew it will happen but nobody spoke about it to Neil and Neela.Neil looked distraught at Avni who was completely not in mood to forgive her husband nor her mother.They both played with her emotions,let her suffer.Both of them neither knew what it is to stay is jail.

Neil (distraught)-Avni please give me a chance.We both love each other.

Avni-Love ?? What is exactly love ACP Neil Khanna ? Arresting your wife ? Sending her in prison ? Than apologizing to her.Is that what you think love is.Than I should have never fallen in love Neil.I never fell in love Neil and when I did you spoiled everything for me.I WISH I HAD NEVER MARRIED YOU.

Neela (crying)-Dont say this Avni please.You know you still love him.This is your anger speaking.You are and always will be Avni Ayesha Neil Khanna.

Avni (firmly)-NO ! Mera naam sirf Avni Ayesha hai aur wohi mera wajood hai.My mother was,is and will be my everything.I have concluded that there is nobody for me in this world.

Neil (holding her hands)-No please dont say this !! I will sign that papers Avni.

Avni-Fine !! I will happily take the battle to court than.

Avni left a sorrowful Neil and Neela who didnot knew how to deal with Avni's emotions and anger.It seemed as if everybody at home was angry with them as well.Bebe,Sweta and Prakash were sad but Avni was not wrong.She had been wronged her entire lifetime and the last person she expected to wrong her threw her in jail.

Neil (crying)-She left me Neela Ma !!

Neela-We will find some way Neil.We will talk to your lawyer.

Next Morning.

Avni and Neil were both ready for meeting the judge.Shikhar had seen and noticed them that they were still in love.He knew Avni would not understand because of her anger and so he took indirect turn with the help of Neil's lawyer.Avni got down the car and saw Neil with Neela ma whereas with Avni there was Shikhar and ofcourse Ali who had accompanied Avni knowing Neil will find a way.

Judge-Who is the party who initiated the divorce ??

Shikhar-Your Honour my client Avni Ayesha Khanna

Judge-May I ask the reason Mrs Khanna ?

Avni-Lack of trust.I have always been told that trust is the major component of the marraige.If trust is not present how will the relationship work Your Honour.

Judge-ACP Khanna what is the issue and why the lack of trust ?

Neil-Your Honour I am sure you would be aware of the case that just finished.Of Vidhyut Ragini ??

Judge-Yes

Neil-Well I had yo keep my wife in prison to protect her from Vidhyut which has obviously developed a conflict between us.

Judge-Did your wife knew that you were protecting her and hence throwing her in jail ?

Neil -No Your Honour

Judge-Why do you think you have the superior right to decide for her right and breach her trust.Being a police officer you must have idea how prison affects inmates still you did this.Mr Khanna there would effects of this decision however Mrs Khanna I on this basis cannot allow you to get divorce.I know it is brach of trust but I have been told that Mr Khanna doenot want to signt the papers and he neither wants the divorce.

So you have to stay together for 8 months and even if after that you feel that divorce is the only option I will happily grant it to you.There will be inspection remember.I will inform your lawyers about it.

Avni was disappointed with this verdict but she would stay with Neil for 8 months and than apply for divorce again.After which her request would be accepted.She was angry with Shikhar for not making an effort and somewhere knew this mind was of Neil but she let it go.

Neil (smiling)-Shall we Mrs Khanna ??

Avni-Damm You Neil.Go to hell.!!

Neil-We can go to hell together than.For now lets go home.

Bebe and Sweta's happiness knew no bounds when they saw Avni with Neil together but knew somewhere that it would be Judge's decision and not Avni's.But they all knew that their Tillu would make it right to Avni.Bebe instructed the servants to clean the room of Neil and Avni.

Avni-Bebe is sab ki koi zaroorat nahi hai.I will stay in the guest room and Neil in his bedroom.

Neil (smiling)-No you are thinking it all wrong Avni.The judge said you have to stay with me and we need to talk through our problems.You are not sleeping in guest room.You are sleeping in our room.

Avni (strictly)-Donot ever try to take decisions for me Mr Khanna it never will end good.I hope you understand.

It was all very quiet in Avni and Neil's room.Avni was trying to keep her clothes and Neil was typing something on her laptop.Neil saw that Avni was in horrible mood.So Neil tried to try something and see if it worked or not.

Neil sneaked upto Avni and almost tried to hug her when suddenely Avni held his hand in defence manner.

Avni (holding his hand tightly)-Never try and hold my hand again without my permission.Haath tood dugi Neil Khanna

By the time Neil woke up Avni had already gone somewhere.No one knew about her location.Or maybe Mom knew about her whereabouts but was not telling him so he decided to go to Ali's cafe and inquire from him.Neil had taken leave of 1 month.He was just happy seeing Avni in front of him.Though he was scared that he could lose her any moment.

Neil-Ali I wanted to ask you something ?

Ali-Is it about Avni ?

Neil-Yes.Look it's important otherwise I would never ask you to break her friend's trust.

Ali (calming him down)-Neil relax !! She has been visiting councelling session with a psychologist.And plus also a job interview.

Neil-WHAT !! She visits psychologist ?? Is she all right ??

Ali-No she isnt Neil.My only hope is you now to bring my friend back.She was so calm in jail I always thought she will explode.Neil do something yaar please.

Neil was shocked hearing Ali's words.His wife was so traumatized and he knew nothing about it.He had already informed Neela ma about it who was highly worried about Avni now.Neil was trying to find a way.Neil's mind clicked.Sweta could help him.She had been a mother to Avni in the most difficult days of her life.She could bring Avni out of all this.

Neil (calling out)-Mom !!

Sweta-Yes whats it ??

Neil-I need your help.

Sweta-If you want to manofy Avni you have to do it your self.You did mistakes yourself.

Neil-No no Mom listen to me.Avni is not emotionally fine.She is visiting a psychologist for counsel.You need to talk to her bring her emotions out.You are a mother only you can do it.

Sweta (almost crying)-Tillu look what trouble you have created for her.I will handles it.

Sweta was very emotional the way Avni had been these days.She was so angry at Neil for all this trouble.She tried best to control Neil but he didnt stop.Her hand had been tied by Neil's zid.Sweta visited every Saturday in prison to see Avni.She saw how Avni was living but Neil wouldnt hear a single word.And now Avni had given divorce notice.Sweta saw Avni come in and called out to her.

Sweta (calling out)-Avni !!

Avni-Ji Mo...sorry aunty.

Sweta-Kyu aunty kyu.Tune Neil ko divorce ke liya kaha hai hume thodi na.Kuch bhi toh tum uske baad bhi meri daughters hi rahogi.

Avni (smiling)-Boliye Mom kuch kaam tha.

Sweta-Ha tum se kuch baatei karni thi.Chlo mere rooms mei.Bheema mere aur Avni ke liye coffeee bhejo.

Avni-Boliye Mom kya baat karni hai aapko mujhse .

Sweta (carresing her hair)-Dekh Avni mai jaanti hu ke tu Neelaji aur Neil dono se naaraz hai par tu humse toh naraaz nahi hai na.Toh tu kamse kam mujhe toh to baata kya feel kar rahi hai tu.

Avni-Mom maine kuch bhi feel karna band kar diya hai.Because my emotions and love for Neil made me weak.So I removed that weakness.

Sweta-Tumhe pata hai Avni jab Neil ne Juhi ko khoya tha na tab Usne bhi mujhse yehi kaha tha.Sab kuch idhar (pointing at Avni's heart)daba ke rakh diya tha.Tumhare aane ke baad sab bahar nikla.

Mai jaanti hu mai Ayeshji ya Neelaji nahi hu...

Avni (not letting her completing)-Mom ye aap kya keh rahi hai Mom.Aap mere liye Mumma jaise hi hai.

Sweta-Aur Neelaji unka kya.Tum unhe sabse zyaada respect deti ho shyad Aishaji se bhi zyada,aur aab itna gussa un se aur Neil se.Jab tak tum ye sab bahar nahi nikalo gi tum aage nahi badh paogi chahe voh un dono ki bina hi kyu na ho beta.

Avni (crying like a child)-Mai kya karu Mom mere kuch samajh mei nahi aa raha ha.Neil ne mujh aapni zindaga ka sabse bada ghaav diya hai (putting her head in Sweta's lap).Shyad Dayawanti Mehta ne bhi mujhe itna bada ghaav nhai diya tha.Aur Neela Ma she is suppossed to be my mother,protect me but instead she took decisons for me.Undermined me both of them.

Neil broke me.Jisne pyaar pe bharosa dilaya usi ne pyaar china mujse.

Sweta (tears in her eyes hearing Avni)-carrasing her head.

Avni (crying hard)-Bachpan se hamesha mai hi sab kuch jhelti aayi hu.Pehle Mehta family fir meri illegitemcy aur fir mera badla in sab mei maine aapne aap ko sambhala par Neil ne jo kiya uske baad mai aapne aap ko nahi sambhal paogi Mom.I am very broke.

Finally after crying for long time Avni went to sleep in Sweta's room itself.Sweta felt bad for Avni.She had found happiness after a long time and it was snatched by Neil itself.Sweta was carrasing Avni's head when Neil entered the room.He had been listening to each and every of Avni's words.He felt so guilty.

Neil-Mom I am...

Sweta-Neil mujhe kuch nahi sun na hai.Make it up to her fast.Otherwise you will lose her for ever.

Next Morning

Neil woke up early but yet found Avni missing.On asking Sweta she told him that Avni was in gym room.When Neil went there to excercise he saw Avni his wife practicing Tai chi.He was shocked knowing that she had learned Tai chi and he also saw Boxing bag.He was surprised as to how much his wife had turned towards martial arts.

Neil (surprised)-You know Tai Chi. !!

Avni-Why arent women supposed to know Tai Chi,or boxing or martial arts.Sgould they just have to cook.

Neil-Who told you or what gave you the impression that I am dominating wifey ?? or not beliver in equality ??

Avni-the decisions you took for me are proof of that.Now if you will excuse me Can I continue with my routine.

Neil-Well I have heard a great of your fighting skills in Jail,care to compete.

Avni-Your bad !!
