Plot summary
THE HOWL OF THE TEMPEST
Chapter 10
Scene begins with Vidyut smelling the cut hair from Avni, a prized possession.
He is angry at himself for blowing his cover and ruining his plan, yet pleased as he could see her, and has some part of her- the hair.
Battle of emotions in his mind and determination to form another plan. Will follow her always
So what, this failed. Kind of
Neil Avni early morning scene. Neil consoles her, Avni is determined to find Vidyut, Neil concerned. Cute stuff. But Avni starts about what they sould do next and how will she help. Thinks. Doesn't want avni involved in all this will add up to her stress but doesn't speak it out loud to her.
Sneakily, talks with Ali and Asmara, tells them about Vidyut and asks them to keep her busy with wedding preps so that she is not involved in the case. And talks with prakash about keeping her busy with office, shweta objects but makes shweta realize his pov,
That if Avni is not kept busy, she will take matters in her own hands.
Plus, security around her 24*7

Chapter 11
Neil in police station, goes over vidyuts files, pm reports, dna tests, his jail records.
Questions how dna matched at two different labs. Calls the technicians. Meeting with them. No loop hole found. Calls for the samples. And exhumation orders from the magistrate. Does everything under his own eyes.Makes a test again.
Report in 48 hrs, most trusted source.
Visits vidyuts jail. Talks with jailer and othe prisoners. Comes to know of an uncanny friendship with the brother of one of the prisoners. Horses in his mind are running.
Calls dd. Try to find out about this brother and what has happened over the few years to ballu.
Goes home- family scene with neela, ali asmara. Asmara says something about a movie and body double. Batti jali. Body double.
Calls dd Asap and asks him to cross check the dna sample of vidyut with other people in crime data base.
48 hrs later
Test reports- dna matches with the dead body which also matches with some small time crook in their records. And voila! This crook is none other than the prisoners brother.
Asks dd to find this guy out.

Chapter 12
2 weeks later.
Avni has a usg appointment. Neil and avni go to the doctor. Both happy even though tough times.
Vidyut follows. Concerned why they are going to hospital.
Avni and Neil leave the hospital. Happy and with gleaming eyes.
Vidyut sneaks in doctors cabin. Finds her reports from the file cabinet. Finds out Avni is pregnant. MAJOR BREAKDOWN. Throws stuff, breaks glass, Angry and feels betrayed. feels that avni cheated on him, but then convinces himself that his Avni loves him and will never cheat on him. Delusion at its best.
Goes back to his basement. Starts snorting cocaine. In the "trip" hallucinates about Avni and starts believing the kid is his own. "AVNI AUR VIDYUT KI PYAAR Ki nishaani" and Neil is holding avni captive.
He has to free her. Will kidnap avni and protect his child.

Chapter 13
Neil is in police station, dd informs him that they have found about the crook. Iqbal and his residence. They leave asap to his house. A small basti, poor house hold. A shabbily dressed woman with a little baby and a 5 y/o girl are seen.
Neil shows her his batch and starts questioning the lady.
She tells about her husband iqbal. How they try and make things meet. He always goes away for long long time. And this time as well has gone for almost 3 months now.
Neil asks for his photograph. Physique similar to Vidyut.
Asks dd to check iqbals bank account to look out for some transfer or activity to find him. 3 months ago 10 lakh deposited from some foreign account. And has been Awol since then.
Connects the dots.
The body was of iqbal. Vidyut had paid him for his life.
Avni is frustrated. Neil is telling her nothings about Vidyut. Plus, asmara and Ali are always there talking about the wedding and the 24*7 security around her is driving her mad. She is a big girl doesn't need all this. Decides to barge in Neil's office and demand answers

Chapter 14
Avni goes to the police station, small scene between the hawaldar and her, where he tells her sir is busy. Further infuriated. Avni barges into Neil's cabin.
Neil is making a time chart for vidyut. Avni argues with him cutely and tells him that she wants to be a part of the investigation and she hates all the security around her. She is all cute and flushing with the pregnancy glow.
Neil is having a hard time. He settles her down. Calms her and tells her his pov. How he doesn't want her to stress especially at this time. How her and the baby is the most important thing in his life. He confesses that he made ali and Asmara take care of her. Apologizes cutely. She happily accepts the appology and takes a promise from him that "we are a team. And now , the little peanut is a part of it too! And thus, he'll tell her everything. He promises. Neil tells her about iqbal.
Avni says to him to find out if any other thing or place was paid for using that foreign account. And leaves.
Vidyut is in the basement, has bought lots of toys and is talking with a baby doll how he will take care of the child. He recalls how he has tapped Khanna house land line number so that he can intercept any call. He is just trying to find an opportunity to kidnap avni whenever she is away from Neil and his guard dogs. Suddenly the bell rings. Suspense ending. Suspense quotient high

Chapter 15
Avni steps out of the police station, content that Neil has understood her. Suddenly her phone rings. It is bebe, asks her to meet at the Mandir. Has kept a pooja for her and the baby.
Vidyut is listening at the other end. Decides this is the best opportunity. Tries to kidnap Avni. Write an elaborate scene. But fails. Avni evades him. Entire khanna family is frightened .

Chapter 16
Neil rushes home. Avni tells him every thing. Unlike the last time, she is not frightened about the encounter. His sherni is back. Infact she is consoling the rest of the family.
A scene between Neil and avni. How he himself is frightened. He shares his concern with her yet again. And tells her until Vidyut gets caught he is not leaving her side. She tells him how he is being unreasonable. He touches her baby bump and tells her you both are my life.
Vidyut in basement.
Extremely angry. One more failure. Is angry at avni, tears her posters and paintings. Feels cheated as she refused to come with him. "iss Neil Khanna ke liye tumne mujhe choda! Accha nahi kiya. Ab tum isse humesha ke liye kho dogi!" takes out a revolver and puts a bullet in it.

Chapter 17.
Midnight
Neil wakes up from his sleep because of a call from Vidyut.
He tells him him to come and talk to him man to man. May the best man win avni. Bla bla bla
Avni is sleeping, serene beside him. Neil looks at her and feels that this has to end. He can't give her any stress anymore. Agrees.
They meet.

Chapter 18
Neil Vidyut confrontation. Vidyut confesses his entire plan of how he escaped, how he zeroed out iqbal. How he scheduled the entire crash with the petrol tanker.
Neil infuriates him further. They fight. Hand and fist. Describe.
He takes out his gun but last moment decides that neil deserves a further painful death and this is too easy. So brings out his guard dogs and captures neil in ropes.

Chapter 19
Avni wakes up. Is frantic, searches for neil every where. All of khanna clan is tensed.calls dd and ali.they come asap.
Avni asks dd to check Neil's call records. They find out last call from a phone named under ballus name.
Avni asks dd if they had found out about the properties payed for by the foreign account.with help of ali they find out 2 properties. Dd says he'll go to one while ali with other force to other. Avni insists on going with ali. All refuse. But ultimately she blackmails them and somehow leaves.
Vidyut's men are torturing neil. gruesome.

Chapter 20.
Parallel writing. How dd is finding one property whil Ali and avni the other. Suspense max.
Dd reaches ballus house arrests him.
Avni reaches the basement.
Meanwhile, Neil and Vidyut conversation.neil provokes Vidyut. He loses his temper. A gunshot is heard.

Chapter 21
Avni hears tge gunshot is frantic.runs inside the basement. To find Neil shot in his thigh. Vidyut sitting in front of him.
She shouts neil
"tum yaha kyu aayi?" neil questions
"aagayi tum?mujhe pata ta tum zaroir aaogi" vidyut says.
Goes to her. Touches her hair. She stills. Neil struggles with his ropes "dur reh avni se. " ala filmy style.
"humare liye mene kya kuch nahi kiya. Taki hum saath reh sake aur tum.. Dhoka de rahi thi. " holds her hair in a tight fist and moves the gun along her neck
She tries to pacify vidyut. Makes him believe that she loves him only and not Neil so that he drops the gun. Intelligent Avni right there.
Neil is struggling. Meanwhile, Ali along with some police walas has managed to move in as well after fighting with Vidyut 's goons. He stealthily talks with Avni through eyes. Avni takes Vidyuts hand and moves him away from neil. Ali hides behind pillars and boxes and ultimately manages to cut open Neil's ropes.
But Vidyut notices the ploy.
Starts moving toward the gun is angry at avni. But Avni beats him to it. Points it at Vidyut. Neil is yelling not to shoot. Kanoon haath mein matt lo. But avni is in her trans. She sees red. And shoots vidyut right in his head, between his two eyes. Khopdi udda di.
And falls down. Neil limps towrds her. Takes her in his arms and both cry.

Chapter 22
Epilogue.
Pillu is born. It's a boy. Neil is still excited and holds the baby. Avni is on the bed . Entire khaandaan is cooing at the baby. He recalls, baby in hand and looking at Avni how court dismissed tge case against her stating self defense.
He looks at ali and asmara who are talking to avni and are animatedly talking to her, he is reminded of the time when they decided to postpone the wedding but avni put her foot down and told them that happiness is all tgey needed.
He looks at shweta and neela, who are playing with pillu who is still im his hands and recalls how on the day of wedding Avni Indeed was flustered that she couldn't fit into the clothes and how both her mothers had repeatedly told her that she wasnt moti and just pregnant.
Prakash comes to Neil and says ab dada ki bari hai. Takes the baby. Dd is looming from behind
Bebe is sitting besides Avni and caressing her forehead. Suddenly bebe says "mujhe lagta hai ab humein inn dono ko kuch waqt saath mein beetane dena chahiye. " they all agree and leave. Neil sits beside avni, place a kiss on her forehead,hand her the baby and thanks her for the best gift and Avni teases him how he was wrong all along. He tells Avni how he secretly always qished for so that they had one more opportunity to get it correct the next time.
Basically Avni's entire "perfect family" pictire is complete. Include all family memebers in the scene.

there were a lot of things i wanted to add. Like a nightmare sequence akin to one shown on the show. Maybe ali and asmara's wedding and few more Avmi neil peanut scenes. But wasn't very sure where i would have added them. I definitely wanted a ramayan reading scene between bebe and avni. And a baby shopping scnee
May be something similar to silence of the lambs scene when it came to kidnapping, but i was just playing with ideas in my head. nothinh was perfect or confirmed
But this is it i guess. I Have given you everythingethat i could in this time frame.
