Part Six: Meeting The Khanna's-

"Tillu" Shweta shouted as she ran outside to Neil as soon as he got out of the car
Prakash hugged him

"Mum, Dad, this is Avni, my wife"
Avni felt tingles at his sentence, he looked toward her with adoration

Shweta squeezed his cheeks "My Tillu is in love"
"Mum" he groaned embarassed

Prakash laughed, Avni bent down to take their blessings

Neela greeted them happily
Walking towards the house Bebe did their griha pravesh.

Bebe slapped the back of Neil's head "Who told you to get married without me being there"

"Sorry Bebe"
Bebe yanked on Avni's ear "Didnt you tell him to atleast inform his family"

Avni decided to get some revenge "Oh Bebe I did tell him, but he didnt listen to me, I am so ashamed"

Bebe let go "Oh i'm so sorry, how terrible of him"
Glaring at Neil he gulped

Stepping in the house, they were told to rest
Neela sat with the family as Avni and Neil walked upstairs

"So, you sleep on the sofa " said Avni
"No, we are sleeping on the bed"

"Uh no, we are not " Avni prodded his chest with her finger , forcing him to walk back until his back hit the wardrobe

"Im the boss here Khanna"
Neil smirked cheekily " What are you going to do if I dont listen"

Avni smiled "You'll be punished"
"How so Avni"

Leaning her head she tugged on his ear with her teeth, "You shall see"

Pulling back she smiled "Cold shower time for you Khanna, im getting into bed"

Neil glared at her back , jumping in bed she smiled "Hurry, I want the light off"

Pulling the duvet over herself she closed her eyes

~How Strange To Dream Of You Even When I Am Awake~

Part Seven: A Night Of Adventures-

Neil creeped into the bed next to Avni
"Im awake, get out" pushing her cold feet against his legs, he jumped back

"Avni stop, im gonna get pneumonia"
Avni laughed "Get out of my bed "

Neil stretched and yawned, putting his arm around Avni's waist he tugged her to him

Pursing his lips, she flicked them
"Ow"
"Kiss it better" Neil pointed to his lips

"In your dreams Khanna"
Neil climbed on top of her "Alot more happens in my dreams wifey than you kissing me when im hurt"

Pushing him, he fell out of the bed, Avni fell ontop of him, her hair tickled his face

"This is a very compromising position Avni, im not sure a bodyguard should be like this with the woman hes protecting"

Avni tried to pull herself up but Neil pulled her back
"You're so beautiful I can't stay away from you"

Avni squeezed his cheek "Aw Tillu, how cute"
Neil shook his head "chi, now I have thoughts of my mum in my head"

Avni giggled into his chest, his arms squeezed her waist, resting his chin upon her head he sighed

Avni relaxed into him, their bodies molding together they fell asleep

Bebe came in the next morning "Huh, where are they"

Walking around the bed, she saw them sleeping on the floor, Bebe waved Shweta in

"How on earth do you work this thing" said Bebe loudly
Neil blinked looking at Bebe and Shweta stood with their phones taking pictures

"Bebe please" Neil groaned as the flash went off

"Dont you take this away from me, you already took your wedding away" shouted Bebe waking Avni up

She jumped up quickly, taking their blessings she ran into the bathroom

"Shy" Shweta laughed

Woah woah! They were caught by Bebe and Shwetha in such an awkward position 😳 and gosh they clicked pictures... arre ab Shwetha aur bebe bhi besharam ho gaye! Clicking their jawan son's intimate pics 😳 hahaha

Part Eight: Jealousy Is A Dangerous Game-

Avni was applying her make up in the mirror , Neil sat on the bed watching her

"Take a picture Khanna, it lasts longer"
"Okay"

Avni ran after Neil trying to snatch his phone, as he ran downstairs
She ran after him

Bebe stood infront of Avni "Daughters of this house must not act this way"
Avni stopped immediatley "Sorry I"

Bebe laughed "I'm joking "
Avni looked shocked

Grabbing Neil's arm she held out her hand for the phone and passed it to Avni

Avni smiled as she took the phone and deleted the picture
A text from Riya popped up

"Have you started the plan yet"
Avni typed back "Which one"

"You know! The one where you get Avni to ask you out by making her jealous "
Avni raised her eyebrow, so her cousin and her fake husband had been plotting

Smiling sweetly she returned his phone, we shall see who makes who jealous

Avni walked over to the electrician who had just fixed a light
Resting her hand on her arm she smiled

"Work out much" she asked
Neil's jaw dropped, looking around he rolled his eyes as the family had already left

Neil walked over "Yeah, can I get your number, I may have some things I need your help with if you get what I mean"

Neil pulled her away "Avni, what are you doing"
Avni gasped in fake shock

"What, me"? She looked around
"Yes, you, who else"

Avni shrugged "I dont know, maybe Riya"

"Avni that plan was over ages ago"
Avni put her hand up to his face and walked away

God, this woman would drive me insane
Sitting down for breakfast, Neil looked at Avni sitting across from him

Lifting her foot, she dragged her nails up his leg
He hissed

"All okay Tillu" asked Shweta
He nodded

Oh, two could play at that game

Avni was engrossed in conversation with Neela, he lifted his foot and stroked hers

Avni still made no movement , kicking her she still didnt look his way or react

Looking back over, Prakash raised his eyebrow
"I think your foot is in the wrong place son, maybe keep that for later"

Avni laughed loudly as Neil stood up, embarassed he walked away

Avni made an effort to talk to him throughout the day, failing she sighed

"Neil, dont be mad at me"
Neil still ignored her

Pouting she sat down
Neil tried to look away but hated seeing her sad

Avni jumped up, she had an idea
Grabbing his hand she brought him downstairs

"Guys, lets play a game"
Bebe looked up "what game"

"Antakshari"
Bebe clapped her hands

"I will be the judge, Avni and Shweta will be one team, Neil and Prakash another and Neela who do you want to be with "

Neela shook her head "I'll be the judge with you"

Bebe clapped "Ladies first"
Avni winked "Thats you, my lovely husband"

Avni was going to cheer him up in this game no matter what

Shweta smiled "Nagada sang dhol baaje, dhol baaje
Dhaayn dhaayn dhum dhum dhaayn

Neil looked at Avni "Naina jo saanjhe khwaab dekhte the Naina bichhad ke aaj ro diye hain yun Naina jo mil ke raat jaagte the Naina sehar mein palken meechte hain yun"

Avni frowned, why was he making this so sad?
Time to cheer him up!

Winking at Neil she sang "nagin nagin, nagin nagin,
naagin dance nachnaa Mere nose pin ke lashkaare,
ear ring de chamkaare
Mere utte beh gaye,
ke dil vil meraa le gaye"

Touching her nose ring she poked her tounge out

Prakash smiled as Neil tried to look elsewhere
"Ek do teen chaar paanch chhe saat aath nau das gyarah baarah terah
Tera karoon, tera karoon din gin ginke intezar
Aaja sanam aayi bahaar"

Shweta stood up, dragging Avni up with her
"Rabba rabba, mere rabba rabba
Chaahe badle mein le le tu jaan"
Cupping her cheeks she kissed her forehead, looking over at Prakash she continued to sing

"Yaaron main kaise kahoon, kya hua.
Hosh hai ab kaheen hai kahin ye hawaa"


Shweta sat down, Neil walked forward towards Avni, he was going to mess with her, make her think he was very upsett with her

Avni grabbed his hand and pulled him back, walking slowly around him she sang

Neil couldn't take his eyes off her as she smiled at him
Victory was hers, whispering in his ear "Gotcha Khanna"

Pulling back Bebe stood up cheering "Avni and Shweta are the winners "

Neela stood up "Losers make dinner"
Neela high fived Bebe as they all walked away to the table, leaving Avni and Neil

"So my bodyguard is now my chef hmm, I look forward to tasting what you make"

Neil pulled her back "I don't enjoy being teased Avni, especially when nothing will happen from it"

Avni smiled "Maybe it will, you never know"

Walking away, Neil shook his head

That girl would surely be the death of him

Part Ten: Secret Is Out-




"Avni, I left my medication in Neil's car, can you go get it" asked Neela

Avni grabbed the keys and made her way to the car
Opening the door she grabbed the tablets, stopping she looked at the box, lifting the lid she saw posters of the poor people's saviour, Neo

A picture of Neil looked back at her
Turning around she faced Neil, standing in the rain he looked at her

"What is this" she shouted over the rain
"I can explain, I, I found out that your mum, your real mum was homeless, and thats why she gave you up, as she couldnt afford medical treatment for you both, I wanted more than anything to find you, but if I didn't I wanted to make sure I did something you would be proud of, so i've been helping the poor and dealing with criminals to try and find your mum"

Tears made its way down Avni's face, the rain covering her tears

"I know it isnt great, but I wanted a part of you with me if I couldn't have all of you"

Avni covered his mouth with her hand
"Khanna, for once just be quiet, you are one of the best things to ever happen to me and I can't wait for what the future will bring us"

Wrapping her arms around his waist she pulled him down, pressing her lips to his, pulling back, she whispered ever so quietly

"Marry me, for real"
Neil looked down at her "You really want to"

"More than anything, I want to spend my life with you"
Neil spun her around "You've made me the happiest man in the world"



Neil dropped Avni down as she laughed, walking hand in hand it seemed they could face anything

Vivaan glared at their backs, his hand clenched
"Wait for me Neela, I will save you from all this"
