I maybe was truly waiting for your post today on regarding of neil as whole forum almost has been against neil's action in this tract. Very welly penned down.👍🏼

Also Neel until now has been shown accepting avni despite her baggage and her "dhoka" because he could see where it came from. So now for him to say I want avni not ananya is not ok because ananya is a part of avni. It is her defense mechanism when she needs to deal with the world. Neel already knows that. He's the guy who would like to give all criminals a second chance . He was that idealistic. So now for him to punish avni for no fault by not telling her what's going on goes against everything he is. He is the calm rational cop. He is the comm unicator. He does not hide things even if it was about his past. But avni he knew was not like that. She is learning to trust a nd open up. Shestilll does not believe that Neil would trust her Without proof. but neil is the only one who's broken most if her walls. He's the one she trusted the most. She knew that despite all her flaws and jmpulsiveness Neil would get it and protect her. She has definitely started thinking a lot more about the consequences of her actions and now she only pulps stunts when she is desperate. Like when Neel was dying of guilt she went to RM despite being told not to. And she went behind mishti because she had to save the child. And she entered the crime scene because she felt Neil doesn't believe her so she needed to find evidence

I wondered about many of the things u mentioned even before making this post, like how this will break her, make her feel that she is alone and not trusted, but we know Neil has always been known for his extreme ways, I don't agree about his ways all the time, but it's not something out of character, for example he was going to get married to Rhea (fake marriage) to disclose DVM, he staged a whole scene suggesting him having an affair with Rhea to prove Avni's innocence, he planned leaving the altar, staging Juhi's death in front of his own parents and family without telling them (which was very shocking) and made it pass as Ragini Pandit did it. All these were extreme things honestly!

As I said I don't know given his situation, if there was any other way out of this, all evidence being against Avni (the way it was shown in the show, logic wise it might be debatable) she was going to be arrested anyways and Vidyut being behind her. Neil understood the lenghts Vidyut can go to, he knows he is not an ordinary criminal, so he wanted to protect her from Vidyut till he proves her innocence, and I feel he thought that jail is the only place to keep her away from Vidyut as he will keep an eye on her as a DCP and also because it won't be easy for Vidyut to reach there with Neil and his team being there as easily as he could have reached Avni in some other place.

About the vigilante part, I feel Neil understood that not everything and everyone can be dealt with by the means of law, at least not all the time (in the crime scene he said Avni tumhe pata nahi Vidyut kis had tak aage bar chuka hai") but the difference here is that Neil has his steps planned, his aim is not to kill Vidyut but to weaken him and then take him down especially knowing Vidyut's high profile contacts and the fact that he is taking part in elections. Neil's biggest problem with the extreme version of Ananya Varma's avatar is her urge to break the law even when there are other ways to deal with the problem, and mainly her urge to kill, she tried to kill DVM (understandable), and pointed a gun at Amol and at Juhi.

Another thing about Neil even when he breaks the law for a while, it's only till he gets evidence to show to the law, Avni doesn't care much about this part.

Anyways I can't pretend knowing exactly what Neil's plans are, I still need to watch the upcoming episodes, from his scene with Neela, he said he can't see Avni paying for a crime she didn't commit, while she is innocent, so I feel there is still more to his stance than meets the eye, I'm still trying to know what he wants exactly (I know he wants Avni's innocence, and protection but how his plan would help at that is yet to be seen)

And it's absolutely fine if you love Avni more, we all love Avni and I know she had a painful past and I agree I feel for her most in this track as no matter what were the wrong decisions she made due to her past or impulsiveness she will suffer a lot, she will have to relive her past and this time thinking Neil doesn't trust her worse even she thinks he doesn't even really love her, it is all heartbreaking but at the same time I can't be oblivious to Neil's feelings and his intentions or want him to suffer as I know he is suffering as much as her.

I also agree that Avni doesn't hate Neil and she will never do. She is hurt, and now she is focusing all her efforts on one single purpose : Vidyut's destruction. It's her defense mechanism, her way of dealing with her pain, concentrating on her purpose helps as well in diverting her attention from her heartbreak and planning to punish the person who framed her and made her lose her love and her happy family.

Keeping aside the fact that who is right and who is wrong, I enjoyed the episode thoroughly and I can sense that coming episodes are also going to be exciting. In the previous track AvNeil were together but still I couldn't connect to it but in this track although AvNeil are separated, I find it more appealing.

Yes Neil is in love with Avni in her both avatars (Avni and Ananya), he saw the fearless, determined Ananya Varma and she won his heart since the very first day, she was different, determined, risk loving, and mysterious, she completely fascinated him in her Mrs Ajooba avatar. What Neil meant by saying he wants his Avni, is Ananya Varma's destructive avatar, he loves her shrewndess but her urge to kill and do something drastic isn't the thing he aproves of, otherwise we know he sees her as an equal, as an intelligent, ressourceful woman, that's why he trusted her in the Goa track, he knew she won't cross limits then as it was more his past than hers and everything was perfectly planned, so it's not like he doesn't like her as Ananya, his problem is the extreme version of Ananya that can be self destructive as well as destructive.

I guess keeping the hisaab kitab of such two wonderful characters is the problem, why can't people consider them as a one unit AvNeil. Both love each other immensely and can go to any lengths for the other, they are bound to make mistakes also as there are many factors that impact their decisions but when the intentions are pure and so is the love, why the blame game! This is not the case of some couple who have a love hate story where the hero keeps hurting the heroine on purpose and mistrusting her and getting free with a single sorry while the heroine who went through hell forgives him easily. AvNeil are different because not even in their wildest thoughts they would think about hurting each other on purpose.
