neil knows avni can take up the illegal route..and as you said if she knows he believes in her then she will do what she wants to and will not listen to neil.

And if she gets to know about vidyut's demand to neil to give her away for her freedom she will surely turn the ferocious ananya varma and for sure not give an ear to neil😆

Prolly this is what neil fears the most and he thought its better to arrest her and keep her in jail rather than letting her go into vidyut's den this time (now that he is a madly obsessed with her and wasn't during goa track)

But I think Avni should be told about Vidyut's obsession for her because things will get worse when she will learn about it from Vidyut himself and at that time she will lose her temper and in the heat of moment can do anything with Vidyut.
