I agree with your point of view.As a "Westerner" this mixing of families is more the norm than that of a "fairy tale" family! Is is not an easy thing to undertake but neither is real life! I watch this show because it does not show "perfect" or holy than thou characters. I too would like to see how the CVs handle this situation and it matters not about past lives or loves. Children can be happy with parents who love each other, biological or not, rather than with parents who stay together only for the children.I do not see a problem with this "child" being Neil's but in terms of a fairy tale then yes it would be nice to have Neil and Avni being without a past! But ask yourself who does not have a past and are we saying you cannot be happy as a mixed family?I am a grandmother, a step mother and have had a mixed family for over 25 years and my children all know who their biological parents are and we all 'get along" and respect each other. The ex-husband and ex-wife visit with us and we all love our children but also love our respective spouses. Our children all treat each other as real brothers and sisters and they are all happy and well adjusted. We are not perfect but we are a loving family. This show was the creation of the Bhatts and we can all agree that they are not the typical Indian family but look at them today!True love is not always perfect but true love will always stand the test of time! Let's give the show a chance and not sign off because this could be a child from Neil's past!Just my POV and my experience as a 60 year old!
