You think someone's dead for all these years and then she suddenly pops out of nowhere in flesh and blood, especially when she is someone with whom you had history, is going to be a little emotionally draining for Neil.

What I also think is, the shock, the confusion, and the confession, would all take a backseat for a while, as Neil would somehoe get more involved with the investigation of Rang Mahal/ Raghu Pandit/ etc.

It is okay. I don't mind.

As much as I long for AvNeil's confession, I don't want it to be a hastened event.

Neil should definitely clear his head and realize for the final time that No, he doesn't feel a love so intense for Juhi, the way he feels for Avni.

And only then should he go forth, give Avni that ring, and make her his in all senses.

The story is bigger than just Neil and his feelings. Neil will also realize the difference between his previous feelings for Juhi and his current feelings for Avni. When the "dead saint" tag is taken off Juhi, he will finally be able to reconcile the reality of his relationship with her. He was a lot younger and had different priorities. He was also a more happy go lucky, less intense person then. That Juhi death incident changed him and turned him into the Neil that fell in love with Avni. We don't know if the former Neil had it in him to take on a complex person like Avni. She may never have even crossed his path. They met coz she was Case 123, and he pursued her coz he was a Cop and a Cop in obsession at that, and maybe a bit in love/lust too with this beautiful stranger.

Long story short, as dead as Juhi was supposed to have been, is the old feelings associated with her. The "fresh wound" was the loss. All memories associated with her tempered by loss made it too painful to forget. Made her unforgettable. Made her immortal. Let's see if the "Live" version can do all that? I think Alive, Avni made an equal impact on Neil. She is immortal without being dead. I want Neil to finally understand the difference between young love/infatuation, which was Juhi, and one true love, which is Avni. Then let's hope he tells this to Shweta too, so finally, she will understand who her son is truly in love with.
