I think knowing Avni she will empathize with Neil, and feel bad for him. Maybe she may even reflect later as to how she feels about Neil's love for another girl. I don't think she will focus much on the
"Tumse Milne se Pehele" part and also
"Main kisi Aur Ladaki Se Pyaar Kar Ta Ta!"
Two very important lines here. He said it was before he met her, and also I used to love another girl. He didn't say "Mai Kisi Ladaki Se" He said, "Kisi AUR", that means now he loves someone else, but then, he used to love another person. But Avni being Avni won't decode these subtleties in what Neil is saying. He is qualifying that it was before she came into his life. He used to love someone else. ALL this is pointing to the fact that after she came into his life, he now loves her and only her. But Avni won't get that part.
Just like when he said "Jab humari shadi hui thi, mere dil main tumhare liye nafrat tha!" and she told Neela that Neil said he hates her! LOL. Neela had to say "Tha" not "Hai" and qualify it for her. We all know Avni is intelligent, smart and educated. So this is not about understanding. This is about emotional maturity. In this subject, Avni has little to none. That is why she takes things very literally. She doesn't try to decode subtleties. She is a very straight forward sort of girl. If someone "SAYS" something to her, she takes it on. But if they don't say anything she never assumes. In her mind, she doesn't have any idea that Neil loves her. I don't think she even really understands what Neil feels.
In her heart of hearts, Avni also has expectations of Neil. But because of her past and the rejections, she faced in it, and the bad examples of Love relationships she has seen, she doesn't trust any of it. She never thought such relationships will ever be part of her life, but Neil inadvertently became a part of her life. She loves him but doesn't know its love. He loves her, but she doesn't realize it. So how Avni will feel when she finds out Juhi is still around is anyone's guess. Knowing her, she will only think of removing herself from a situation where she feels she is not needed. Her line to Neil the night they got married. "Main kisi ke bhi zindagi main zyada din thak nehi reheti!"
In short, she will never impose where she is not welcome. If she feels she is imposing on Neil's life she will remove herself from it. She has done it before, she can do it again. Yes, those times were for her self-respect as well. But this time it will be because she thinks her leaving is what will give Neil what he wants. I don't think she will do it in some OTT Sacrificial way, but practically like she always does. Waiting for it. I want a lot of angst! That's what I am waiting on.
