Moving forward and moving on are two different things.That is why when Shweta asked him during his marriage prep with Rhea, he said that he can't guarantee that he can "forget his past", but he will move forward and build a life with Rhea. What he was trying to say was that, he knows he's not in love and he cant guarantee that he will be. Simple as that. Ek pyaar se move on tab hota hain, jab apko kisi Aur se pyar ho jaye. Until Avni, that had NOT happened to Neil.

But then enter Avni, and she made a place in his mind, his life and his heart. After meeting Avni he realised that wo bhi phir se pyar kar sakta hain, aur wo kiya bhi. It took him awhile to accept that what he felt for Avni was love. He knew he felt some intense connection, passion, attraction maybe even some lust. But he knew that it all translated to him not being able to be without her. Avni ne Wo jaga bana li, jo Rhea kabhi bana nahi sakthi thi. I dont think she ever would have been able to. Had Neil been married to RHEA, I would think Juhi coming back would have been a much bigger issue. Neil would never have cheated Rhea. But he would have felt a stronger regret at not being free when a girl he had once loved returned to his life, while he is married to someone whom he at best liked, not loved.

But he is married to Avni now, and Neil is crazy for her. So I dont think "choosing" is going to be the issue. But there will be a lot of drama and guilt and compassion etc from Neil's side for Juhi. He will want to champion her cause and get her justice (when he finds out what has happened to her). This may make Avni think that Neil wants her back in his life as more than a friend, but I seriously doubt it. Even if he's conflicted it wont be coz he feels he must choose, but because he would want to be there for Juhi, and him being committed and her being his ex may pose an issue. Lets wait and watch. Though I usually hate such tracks I hope the CV's surprise me in a good way!

THIS! I really hope CVs don't go there after all the build up for Neil's love for Avni it just would not go with his character. I can understand Neil being overwhelmed seeing Juhi again, having unanswered questions and compassion for her because that is who he is but him having difficulty choosing is something fans won't accept. This track holds promise and potential, we can only hope CVs do not disappoint.

The question of choosing won't even arise. His heart has already its queen ruling over it. Avni is Neil's soulmate, she is the ONE, his true love, the love of his life, they share a cosmic connection, a soul connection! They are meant to be!

I have no doubt that he will have a soft corner for Juhi, Juhi was his first love and as many said he mourned her loss for long, but that wouldn't mean he loves her or has any romantic feelings left for her, she will be a beautiful memory and he will be her friend, there for her if she needs him. He very likely might feel for her a lot especially after knowing what she has been through, he will help her as a friend, as a cop and for the sake of old good times to get her life back, to get justice! That's what we would expect of a noble man like Neil, if she is ever hurt because he has moved on, he will be understanding and empathetic and try to make her understand.

During this phase, Avni might suffer because Shweta will make sure she makes her think that Neil is still in love with Juhi.

But I trust Neil, he is very mature, he knows what he wants, I feel he will talk to Avni about Juhi and explain things, he won't afford to lose Avni, and he won't risk hurting her! I feel AvNeil will team up and help Juhi and bring Raghu Pandit down ! But yes we will have some jealousy from Avni which will lead eventually to her realizing her feelings for Neil!

I hope they handle the track pleasantly; I also don't like back from the dead exes, but maybe this track will have a positive side and will bring AvNeil closer!

I'm hoping Neil is shown talking to Avni, he is a sensible guy and he has to know this will bother her especially given what has happened to her mothers. Neil needs to reassure her, it may not do much but Neil won't be inconsiderate towards Avni. Hopefully given the pace of this show Avni's insecurities will be cleared soon and things will happen just the way fans want with Avni and Neil teaming up to help Juhi. I could see Juhi and Gura Maa's track concluding at the same time.
