8/24 Highlights: Neil confronts Rhea ; Avni in Detective Mode

So I read a lot of mixed reviews on Twitter but personally I loved the episode, I didn't feel too much was crammed in at all. The makers of this show always get straight to the point, they don't drag anything nor do they give you a filler scene. Every scene you see serves a purpose and today was no different.

I'm so glad Avni only agreed to come for the pooja it had nothing to do with her moving back home at least not yet. I'm glad Avni is not going against Neil's wishes here because he is still very much hurt with his mother who at one time cared about his happiness.

Hats off to these CVs for how they've written Neil and Avni's friendship with Ali. Neil was jealous of their bond at one point because he knows how Ali feels about Avni but now he knows Avni does not feel the same that there is just a friendship there, he trusts both his wife and his friend and that is huge in TV world. Avni has not let Rhea instigate her against Ali, their friendship remains intact because of the trust she has in him.

Finally the much awaited confrontation happened between Rhea and Neil. I loved him being protective of Avni and not allowing Rhea to instigate him against Ali, the sharp minded Neil was quick to call Rhea out on the letter and knew Ali must have refused. Rhea got what she deserved today.

Avni met up with old friends to help her find out about the bomb blast, I love that the CVs show Avni as a very versatile character. Avni is not the brightest when it comes to romance but everything else the girl is on point! Avni is not your typical female lead, she is beauty with brains who can take charge when needed.


So Juhi is not dead, this is no look alike that Shweta found infact she does not even know Juhi is alive thank goodness. I say that with relief because it just did not make sense that Shweta would know Juhi is alive or the fact she would find someone who looked exactly like her in little to no time. I like that CVs are connecting Juhi to Gura Maa, its like a jigsaw puzzle where pieces slowly fit together.

I'm really interested to see how this track unfolds, how will Neil react to seeing Juhi again? This was a woman he thought was dead, a woman he mourned for so what will happen when they come face to face? How will this impact his relationship with Avni? Shweta we know will use this to her advantage but Neil's actions are what will be crucial to this track.

Infact I found Neil is moving on from his past...he went to the place Ganapati's Idol...he has past with Ganpati puja but he went there...one cause of his duty sec cause of Avni..so for Avni he can face past n confront n move on ...

Welcome! Exactly Neil loves Avni and would do anything for her. I know Neil will be overwhelmed seeing Juhi alive it will stir up old memories and feelings but his love for Avni won't diminish. This could be what has Neil make peace with the past once and for all, put things in perspective and see how much he loves Avni

I liked the little moment where Neil removed the Asha-Avni nameplate from the house. He's so protective of her feelings.. He's so concerned about her.

Neil is such a great husband.

That was sweet of him that he removed the name plate but wondered if Avni would be ok with him doing that as Ayesha n Avni would have put it up together!

Rhea is truly shameless staying in Avni home and conspiring towards her

Me too, he reminded Rhea that she was still living in Avni's home and won't let Rhea hurt Avni. I love him for this, he doesn't want anyone hurting or taking advantage of Avni anymore as it should be.

This episode is taking story forward to unveiling Wvneil past which both have not shared with each other

Neil has never directly spoken of Juhi hope he shares why he is not into Ganesh chaturthi celebrations

Loved the way CVs handled Ali - Avni, Avni forgiving him their understanding Friendship trust is above all and loved that Ali Neil Friendship in tact

What was funny was seeing Neil concern when the police guy called him 'bout Avni taking punga with the guy Juhi was with...concern he always had she puts herself into dangerous situations
He will freak out if he meets her old robinhood gang...wondering if she will continue doing what she did helping the less fortunate taking from rich giving to poor...wonder if Neela is aware of this side of her probably coz she told Bebe she had gun in her hand when guys are pursuing girly stuff...wonder what Neil's reaction would be when he finds out she is case 123..:

I hope he opens up to Avni about his past, they are showing so much growth in their relationship so why not? Here Neil is learning so much about Avni's past so it is time she learned about his, his scars and trying to help him heal.

The CVs are handling Ali's friendship with both Neil and Avni beautifully, the truth they have in each other is really refreshing to watch. I love his friendship with both and I am glad the CVs did not destroy it by turning Ali into a psycho obsessed lover who would hurt his best friend. Ali has a good heart and wants his friends to be happy even though it hurts that Avni loves someone else.

I would think Neela would know about Avni, Avni doesn't seem to hide anything from her mom. I thought Neil knew about her being case 123, didn't someone on the forum say that? I started watching late after the leap so I don't know.

No he doesn't know she is case 123.

I mean yes he used to suspect her, he was almost sure she is case 123, he was even about to disclose her but she succeeded in misleading him and even making him feel guilty because he suspected her. He is very clever and he was right about her, and he even found half the evidence which is the cover of the pendant she wears but when she felt that he is behind it she changed the pendant and when he checked it was different. She was lucky also, as many times when he was about to disclose her she somehow escapted.

Also during exposing Dayavanti , Neil found her whole chain on streets when he was searching for her. That time it surely had slipped from his mind as he was worried about Avni only. And then another day...Avni finds the locket and chain in his wardrobe and probably she takes it away and says Neil shouldn't know that she is Case 123 warna bohot badi problem hojayegi
