8/14 Highlights: Avni tries to pacify Neil

So as expected Avni was the one to screw up, she started out well with her explanation but then had to hit Neil where it hurts with the ehsaan dialogue. I don't blame Neil for being upset, for Neil this marriage is so much more than what Avni makes it out to be. As pointed out on this forum Neil is emotionally invested in this relationship so when Avni talks about ehsaan it is going to hurt him.

I loved Avni's attempts to pacify Neil best of all it was because she wanted to and not because Neela asked her. I know later in the episode Neela tries to get through to Avni but I'm glad before that it was Avni's choice. Avni really needs to fight hard for her marriage, Neil is madly in love with her and stood by her through everything. I look forward to her continued attempts in the next episode especially since it is obvious Neil longs for her, he is not angry just hurt but that will fade soon enough.

I was happy to see Bebe did not insult Neela or Avni when she saw them arrive, I believe slowly she will come around and accept Avni again.

Special mention to DD he is so cute, love his comic timing when he pushed Avni out of the way and ended up tripping near the commissioner. DD really is a sweetheart I was not the least bit surprised he joined hands with Neela to get Avni and Neil back together.

Precap was the promo and Amol plot with the bomb, I look forward to him getting caught especially with the new OLVs showing Neela suspecting him.

Her constant use of the word Ehsaan is insulting, and Neil has every right to feel upset. For Neil, he is looking for some indication from Avni that she wants to be in this relationship because she wants to - not because Bebe or Neela Ma asked her to! It's high time that Avni thinks about how she feels, why she feels that way and what it all means!

I liked that Ali was a bit hesitant to speak with Avni today, it shows continuity in his character. He is evidently ashamed of being led astray by Shweta, even if it was just for a few moments. But I hope at some point he is able to expose Shweta and Rhea to Avni; this is crucial.

I was so hopeful that Amol was perhaps double-crossing Daadi, but I'm convinced he is still the old Amol, which is a shame. I hope his true face is revealed very soon; wouldn't want his to play with Avni's feelings for too long!

DD falling at the commissioner's feet was hilarious. The way he was confidently telling Neela that Neil would be free all today! 😆

It is insulting but I don't think she realizes that, Avni is slow to catch on I mean this girl still doesn't understand what Neil meant that day when he said he used to hate her. It was Neela who had to tell Avni that he said it in the past tense. I love her innocence though, poor girl is still getting used to this whole being married and falling for Neil. Avni just needs time, she will catch on soon enough but for now Neil just needs to be patient with her.

I agree about Ali, him being hesitant shows his guilt and remorse. I don't know if he will be able to tell Avni the truth anytime soon given what happens but hopefully this won't be forgotten. I really want Ali to be honest with Avni, I am sure she nor Neil would be upset with him.

DD is so cute! Poor guy his plans flopped but got to love him for being fast LOL

I really wonder what will be running in her mind wen these two have eye lock as if there is no tomorrow ,mangalsutra scene ,zip Walla scene..how can be she so clueless abt Neil's feelings.. can't she read his mind for once ..he clearly expressing his displeasure on her Eshaan word and how can she be so dumb of not getting it..why he wants her back with him and why he got angry wen she refused him was it tht difficult to understand the reason.. writters deliberately keeping her in Eshaan mode just to drag the realisation but it's really annoying now..

Neil why I felt that he went to cafe hoping to see Avni ..he badly missing her and longing for her ..he did listen to her hoping tht she might speak sumthing abt him and Thier relationship..sum thing like " I miss u Neil " poor fellow heard the most annoying word of his life Eshaan ..it's like salt in his wound.. more than angry he is hurt ..he is so dedicated to his work but a glimpse of Avni disturbs him and it bothers him so much wen she leave without meeting him ..he forgets the commissioner and was abt to run behind her 😆and commissioner was constantly bringing him back to concious😆 again distraction with the msg tone and expecting msg from her ..He is so affected by her couldn't able to concentrate on his work..

Again tht eyelock in the Pooja 😳..it looked like he is happy seeing her there ..it's like a pleasant surprise for him ..Avni becaming desperate to convince him and her restlessness wen she couldn't able to talk with him she seriously needs figure out reason behind it ..sum where I felt Neil deliberately want to be in his angry mode so that he could give her chance to convince him like attention seeking..he is giving her the reason to cum to him , meet him and speak with him .. actually he want tht too ..He is hoping for sum hint frm her abt her feelings for him ..

DD is super cute and hilarious today..Neela and DD such a lovely cupid for Avneil..

That's Avni for you, I think a part of her wants to live in that denial that Neil could love her or she could love him because of everything she has been through but eventually she is going to have to break down those walls. Neil is not going anywhere, like you pointed out while at work during an important meeting all he could do is look for Avni and wonder why she was there, why she did not meet him. Neil is in love and I agree I believe he is going to enjoy her efforts to pacify him, in the OLVs before the bomb blast he looked like he was in masti mode. Neil not loving the attention Avni gives him, impossible 😆

Remember what he had told Prakash - acting angry is just to get wife attention - something he learnt from his dad?growing up!!

So yes he is enjoying all the attention from Avni

At least this way Avni is at least showing some emotions towards him

True! Its like his way of knowing she cares. I am loving her efforts, everything Avni is doing to pacify Neil is because she wants to and not because anyone is twisting her arm. The scene where she mimics him is hilarious, poor girl if she only knew all she had to do was say I want to stay in this marriage because of him no one else.

Love you're analysis as always. Have not seen the episode I am at work. But will watch it later tonight. Can't wait I have heard so much about the scenes!

Neil is so in love that is clear. So is Avni if only she will get it! I think her past prevents her from taking that leap of faith. She has no faith in other people's feelings for her. Accept her Mom, Nano and Ali I don't think she thinks anyone else is her own. Probably not even her brother which she was right about the first time.

In her mind Neil has no valid reason to stay married to her or fight his family for her. She also has guilt for conning him during the marraige so she feels even less compelled to put him in a difficult position. She is just trying to do what she feels is right. She actually doesn't realise how much she is hurting Neil coz for him this relationship has gone way beyond a duty, if it ever was. She has no idea he was hung up on her from the day they met! This girl is naivety personified when it comes to matters of the heart! She's still in grade school! Lol

It will take a lot for Avni to exert her Rights over Neil. That is what he is waiting for. For her to tell him that she wants this relationship coz she wants to be with him, even if his family likes it or not. She also doesn't understand Neil doesn't need to choose. He can teach his family to accept his wife whom he won't leave for them! Simple as that. But the bitter past of Ashish and Aisha is clouding her judgement!

I am waiting to see more of Avni trying to manao Neil. He loves the attention. This is the guy who pretended his foot was hurt just to get Avni to fuss over him! :) He won't let this go easily especially when this time he has a valid reason to be upset. Can't wait to see this episode! I am sure it's going to be repeat on loop of AvNeil scenes. But then it always is! What's new? Lol

Great post, couldn't agree more with you! I feel for Avni, it is easy to say don't let your past affect your future but look at everything Avni endured. Avni has never had it normal, she has been through so many hardships so naturally it is going to take time for her to understand that one does not always have to choose one over the other. Neela really picked them right when she had Avni marry Neil, she could see from the get go that this is the person who will turn Avni's life around. Neil is going to prove to Avni that he is not one to give up on those he loves, he will fight for her.

I'm sure you will enjoy Avni trying to pacify Neil, the coming episodes should be even better. I want to see the dupatta scene and her throwing water on him, its become a habit of hers but to be fair it seems he started it first. Neil loves teasing her
