@Avengers

Beautiful lines, they suit AvNeil

By the way girls, In the new OLV, Bebe asked for forgiveness from Avni, I hope she learnt from her lessons now and she won't change her stand when she learns that Amol was behind what happened to Neil. Now she said she is ashamed of what she did and she is grateful to Avni because she saved Neil and praised Neela for Avni's good upbringing

Obviously Shweta is a lost case, no matter what Avni does, this woman will always hate her, yaar if Avni saving her son didn't change her behavior, I don't see what can!!!. She is already accusing poor Avni for what happened to Neil, when she gets to know that Amol was behind it, she will start another tamasha!

@Naf!

That's my main thing too! Her heart didn't even melt at the fact that she saved Neil's life! Once she knows Amol was behind that, she will just kill Avni with her words. And it will impact Avni worse than what it did to her today. She will be heartbroken to no level and those insults by Shweta will just break her into pieces. Yes, Neil and Neela will always be there to support her and not let her break down!

I have a feeling like for a moment she asked Neela to stay away from her as she can be problem for Neela too, she might even do that with Neil when she will be in that moment. God, I won't be able to imagine her condition.

Amol's character is beyond redemption! Nothing can bring him back. Even if he risks his life in future to save someone, it won't be enough I think. He has done enough to ruin things by himself!

What was the episode even?! We knew it was going to be full of drama and emotions, but did anyone expect it to play out the way it did? I for one surely did not. It's the kind of episode which would break your heart, no matter how much time has elapsed or how many times you have watched it. I honestly couldn't have been happier to have chanced upon this show. I am not a fan of Mahesh Bhatt's films but Naamkarann, my goodness. I am hopelessly in love with the show, the characters and the actors!

Neela Ma. What a character. I honestly hope they NEVER show her as an evil character because that will break my heart. I loved loved loved the conversation between Neela and Avni. It was heartbreaking to see Avni think so lowly of herself, but it was even more heartbreaking to see Neela having to deal with that breakdown. She was watching that strong, courageous girl, who has never been bogged down by the hardest of trials in life, shatter completely. If there is something that Naamkarann has taught me is how words can make or break or someone. We ourselves have been rash and have said things we should not have multiple times, but we honestly do not know what might break someone.

"Manhoos" - Shweta is a blabbermouth but this struck a nerve. It reminded Avni of all the insecurities she has, which Neela Ma and Neil have patiently been trying to get rid of. It reminded her of just how alone she actually is - whereby both her parents were gone, the man she loves is battling with his life and the woman who has been a mother she never had, has had to be a subject of much humiliation without any fault of hers. Of course, Avni would think she is responsible. How could she not? Every person she has ever loved has had to deal with problems, so it had to be her fault. But that is why we have Neela Ma.

She reminds Avni that it was never Avni's fault. Whatever happened had never been and will never be her fault. If anything, circumstances have always wronged Avni. And yet you have this broken soul who has never understood the difference between wronging and being wronged, because no one ever told her that she was not at fault.

I have nothing against Ayesha but honestly, if Avni is the woman she is today, it is purely because of Neela. Neela inspired her, supported her and when needed, reprimanded her - to remind her that she is precious, that no one has the right to dull her sparkles. That is exactly what Avni needed to be reminded of to stand by HER Neil - the man who has unfailingly supported her and given her the courage to face her battles, together and not alone. I think Avni has realised that she loves Neil. She has asserted her right on HER man, she prayed to the God she does not believe in because she just needs a miracle to save HER man and she refuses to let anyone come between her and HER man, even if she has to take a stand against her very own mother-in-law.

P.S. I am sorry if this sounds incoherent. I am still reeling from the episode. Christ, it was that wonderful.

I m still not over today's episode and struggling to find words to have a take! Honestly! I m speechless

Applause to you to be able to find words to define the beauty of today's episode. I completely agree with you! Especially the part with Neela and Ayesha.
Like Krishna was always Yashoda's son, Avni will also be more of Neela's daughter than Ayesha. It was Neela who brought her up and made her into the person that Avni is today.

Avni's breakdown and Neela's confrontation and bringing her back into the senses was such a beautiful and crucial. It actually forced Avni to get rid of all the insecurities she had. Like you said, the insecurities which Neela and Neil were trying to remove by taking some baby steps, was now completely broken.

And man! The way that wall of insecurity broke! Nothing could stop Avni from taking a stand for herself, her marriage and like you said HER Neil. She was ready to fight again. Neela was yet again successful in bringing back the warrior from the lost soldier. And even when she took the stand for herself, she didn't stop to the level of Shweta. And that's again the beauty of Neela's upbringing.

Neela also very politely spoke up for herself and her precious daughter and made sure Shweta shuts up.

Again repeating! Sayantani and Aditi were star of today's episode. Everytime I revisit that scene, I cry. It affects me so much that I stay numb for good few minutes.

Fab take Anu 👏

@Shonali: This!

"Neela also very politely spoke up for herself and her precious daughter and made sure Shweta shuts up."

That is what I really like about Neela, Avni and Neil! They know when and how to shut people up without having to yell at the other party. That's class and intelligence at play. Ayesha was polite and demure, but also submissive and one who didn't have the courage to fight for her rights. Avni isn't her Ayesha Ma. She embodies Neela's traits. She is a fighter and seeker of the truth. That is why she refused to let Shweta walk all over her, but presented her opinions in a dignified manner still.

@Naj:

"After that, the annoying Shweta came, I mean I know she was worried for her son, but this woman even in these circumstances couldn't keep her mouth shut, she had to utter her nonsense! She hurt Avni to no end here and sent her on a guilt trip by stating that she is responsible for what happened to her son, that she is jinxed and she jinxes everything and that she didn't even spare her parents and what not!!"

You know, I would have still let what she said to Avni at the Janmashtami place pass, because I understand that she was distressed. She could literally see her son fighting to live and of course, she would hold Avni responsible for it because had it not been for her, Neil might not even have been that keen on attending the function. She has seen her son embrace trouble to protect Avni, so it makes sense for the maternal instinct to kick in. That coupled with her regressive thoughts, though, didn't help. BUT whatever she said in the hospital was completely uncalled for so whatever sympathy/pity I had for her earlier flew out of the window at that point.

Avni removing shweta's hand was like a bitch slap to her.👏 ugh how I wish Neil is not her son. It's impossible.

This is not related to yesterday's episode, but I was rewatching the older episodes (yes, again 😆) and I noticed something. The only time Neil ever grabs Avni by her arms and "manhandles" her is when she is being irrational. Every single time she tried to do something that was silly, it was Neil's way of literally shaking her so that she would realise that what she is doing is ridiculous. The horse scene, the wedding scene, the gazebo scene - just to name a few. I know no one has called Neil an MCP and manhandling alpha male, but I just wanted to put it out there. 😆 I would understand why that would be considered hot - because he is trying to prevent her from doing anything stupid since he loves her deeply. I do not and would not understand how roughly handling a lady for no rhyme or reason apart from trying to show that one is an alpha male can be considered to be romantic.
