CHAPTER 12Avni sat down and cried her heart out. Her heart wasn't ready to believe what all she just saw.
" Abhi abhi toh yeh ehsaas hua tha ki pyaar kya hota hain. Tumne toh mujhe ek mauka bhi nahi diya pyaar mehsoos karne ka. Khushiyan milte hi kyun chali jaati hai? Kyun meri aur maa ki zindagi mai khushiyan nahi hai? Kyun?
Neil you can't do this to me. Mujhse nahi hoga Neil, please vaapas aa jao."
" Nahi Neil ko kuch nahi ho sakta. Voh zarur aayega. He can't leave his wifey alone. He will come, he will come Avni. Have faith"
Neil too entered the beach, wounded. He had just escaped the goons and handed them to the police. Neil and Avni had lost their phones so they couldn't contact each other.
They were far away from each other. Avni was lost in her own thoughts while Neil couldn't think of anything. Neil was gradually walking towards Avni, without knowing that she was present there too. Avni suddenly felt his presence around her. Neil too could sense Avni there but believed that Avni can't be there. They both remembered their promise that one day they will meet at the place where they first met...
The sea waves were mild and the scenery was beautiful. The moon was shining above, spreading its light all over. The place was very calm and peaceful.
Avni too stood on her feet. She started walking towards the direction from where Neil was walking. They both were taking slow and baby steps, not having enough strength.
Neil fell on the land and Avni felt strange

"Neil"
They both turned to the opposite directions. Both were standing opposite to each other with their backs facing each other. They were still few metres apart, so couldn't see each other.
Neil and Avni saw their watches. It was midnight- The day when they first met.
As the watch striked 12, both Neil and Avni screamed as loud as they could
" I Love You Neil"
" I Love You Avni"
Their voices echoed all over, overlapsing each other. Neil and Avni breath had stopped for a moment.
Their hearts their throbbing. They turned towards each other and Avni ran towards Neil. She indulged Neil in a bone crushing hug. She was all over Neil, and Neil was holding her very tightly. She grasped Neil's shirt tightly, wetting his shirt with her tears. The moment paused for both of them. They didn't wanted to let each other go.
" How dare you leave me like that? Agar tumhe kuch ho jata toh?"
" How can something happen to me when you are there with me"
Avni didn't leave him for long. Neil made a feeble sound
" Ahhh. I am injured yaar."
Avni realized his condition and broke the hug. She carassed Neil's face. They both were lost in each other's eyes. They both spoke at the same time
"I Love You Avni"
"I Love You Neil"
Their voices overlapsed once again
" I Love You too"
" I Love You too"
Neil took Avni in his arms. Her head was burried in his chest. They both had tears in their eyes and a wide smile on their faces.
It seemed to be the most beautiful day of their life. They wanted to stop the time at that moment forever. They found solace in each other's arms.
Neil took Avni out of the hug and kissed her forehead...
" Tumne kaise soch liya main tumhe chod ke chala jaunga? Main tumhe pareshaan karta rahunga. Itni jaldi chod kar...
Avni kept her hand on his mouth
" Don't you dare say that again. I won't let you go away from me."
" Door jaana kaun chahta hai. Mujhe toh tumhari baahon mai hi marna hai."
" Zyada filmy ho gaya. But how come you are here? And what about the goons?"
" Just leave about them. And how can I forget this day. I will remember this day forever because today from this place only, I started the most beautiful journey of my life."
" And you are the best thing that can ever happen to me."
" Yeah, tumhe mere alawa aur koi nahi bear sakta hain. You know God has given me special power to tolerate your tantrums."
To Neil's surprise, Avni didn't get annoyed but smiled at his words. She was dying to hear Neil taunting her.
" You are much hurt. You need rest, come lets leave from here."
Neil grabbed her by her waist, bringing her very close to him
" How unromantic you are! Your husband is trying to make this day special for you but you are trying to send me home. Not done."
Neil turned to the opposite direction. Avni knew how to brighten her hubby's mood. She hugged Neil from back.
" Neil, iss waqt tumhare ghar chalna zaruri hai. Please... I can't see you in pain. It pricks my heart."
Neil turned towards Avni and cupped her face. " Ok, ab toh puri zindagi wifey ke order hi follow karunga."
They both laughed seeing each other.
Avni took Neil to his home and left from there as it was very late and Neela would be worrying for her. Bebe couldn't control her tears and ran towards Neil. She hugged Neil very tightly
" Kaha chala gaya tha puttar apni Bebe ko chodkar."
" Aapka Tillu kabhi aapse door jaa sakta hai?"
Prakash and Shweta too hugged Neil. He saw Avni and suddenly remembered
" Bebe mujhe abhi kahi bahut urguently jaana hai."
" Its past midnight beta. And you are too hurt. I won't let you leave from here."
" Bebe please please please na. Aapki bahu ka haath mangne jaana hai. I can't wait till morning now."
" Tu vaise bhi kaha sunega. Chal jaa aur meri Bahu ko lekar aa."
Neil took everyone's blessing and left from there. He reached Neela's home and saw everyone sitting on the sofa around Avni.
" Avni"
Everyone looked towards Neil who was physically hurt but had his charm and smile on his face. He held Neela, Aman and Nanno's and bought them together. He bent on his knees
" Neela Maa, kya aap apni beti ka haath mere haath mei dengi? I promise you to keep her happy throughout her life and never make her feel alone."
Neela had tears in her eyes and she nodded a yes.
" Aman, kya tum apni Di ko mere saath bhejoge? I promise to protect her against all the situations and always support her."
Aman hugged Neil in happiness...
" Nanno, kya aap apni Avni ka jeevansaathi mujhe banayengi? I promise I will always stand by her side and fulfill all my responsibilites as a husband."
Neela patted Neil and gave him blessings. Neil now started moving towards Avni who was standing near the staircase, blushing and looking at the moist eyes. She was left speechless by Neil's actions. Neil went towards her and held her hand very softly. He bent on his knee
" Ms.Avni Ayesha, will you become my wifey Mrs. Avni Ayesha Neil Khanna."
" Yes!"
Avni was so delighted that tears rolled down her cheeks. She herself bent on her knees and hugged Neil.
Everyone was extremely happy to see Avni and Neil reunion. Even Ali was happy to see them. He had realized that Avni's happiness lied with Neil and wished them good luck...
Neil held Avni's hand in his and took everyone's blessings and left for Khanna House. Bebe was standing there with the Thaali. She welcomed Avni with full pride and love. Shweta too accepted Avni. Prakash blessed both of them...
I know the last part was disappointing so updated it today only...
