So I was looking back at some of Avneil's moments today. Paying extra attention towards Neel because he has always been a bigger mystery to me than Avni (I've basically lived a live similar to Avni's (in a much smaller scale)).
Neel once said "Main umeed karda hoon, ki hum aaj ke baad kabhi nah miley."
Oh Neel, he's the one who's always looking for Avni. He's every umeed is to find Avni infront of him, safe and sound. He did at the first meeting/first day together. When Avni stupidly sat into a stranger's van, and all he wanted to do was find her so he could save this innocent but infuriating girl.Then in all the birthday parties, holi parties, wedding functions, our Neel's eyes searched silently for Avni before his fiancee's. He looked for Avni when she ran away from the bus even though he could track Rajat. He endangered his life again hearing her screams.When he came back to his roka after dropping the priest, as soon as he saw his jacket left alone at the sofa, he searched for Avni. Loud this time. He's the one who once heard Avni was inside a gas bombed house, and he went their quite immediately. He was scared for her life. He voiced to us the audience that he had never been so scared of losing someone before. Because he never had to. He lost Juhi, he probably never had the opportunity to worry for her until it was to late and she was gone. He couldn't have that happen to him again.
