Namaste! I am back with another One Shot on #AvNeil. It is based on yesterday's precap. Do like and share your reviews.
BreakDown.
"Avniii..." Dayavanti roared, entering her old home which was now The Khanna House. Khanna's were on the dining table having breakfast and this sudden interruption was not liked by anyone. Everyone went towards the main door and there was Dayawanti standing with her haughty air around.
"Avni, aakhir tu bhi apni Maa ki tarah hi nikli na? Dhekobaaz!!" She held Avni by her shoulders, shaking her hard. Avni was trying hard not to just push her back on the floor. She knew Dayavanti was planning on something and she couldn't let her win.
"Yeh aap.." she was going to say something Ananya would say and just then he interrupted. HE- her all time saviour. Though she didn't believe in the Savior-concept but, whenit came to him she had to believe everything and she still couldn't figure out WHY?
"Dekhiye Dayawanti ji, aap umar mai badi hai mujhse and I do respect you but, iss waqt aap jisje sath aise battameezi se baat kar rahi hai vo meri BIWI hai. Ananya" he stressed on the word Biwi and Avni could feel jitters down in her tummy. The situation was so serious and still he did that kimd of thing to her. 'Damm him' she cursed.
"Nahi Neil. Ye vo nahi jo tum samajh rahe ho. Ye vo hai jisse mai itne saal se dhund rahi hu. Yeh.." she pointed towards Avni " meri POTII AVNI hai." She yelled and Bebe stopped her.
"BASS KIJIYE BEHENJI!" Bebe too matched Dayawanti's pitch. "Aap ko koi galat fehmi hui hai. Ye meri bahu Ananya hai. Dekhiye Neil ne bataya mujhe aapke baare mai ki aap apki potii ko dhund rahi hai aur issiliye aap thodi tanav mai hai par vo mil jaegi behenji." Bebe tried to calm her down. 'Had she knew Dayavanti's real motive' Avni sighed.
"Achha agar yeh Ananya hai toh yeh kon hai?" She said pointing towards the door where the ANANYA VERMA was standing. And Daya narrated the story to them as how she got Ananya Verma in a dance bar and so she was here to take Avni back with her.
"Ek minute. Yeh duniya itniii badi hai" Neil widened his arms in air. "Aur is duniya ek hi Ananya Verma tih nahi hai na ji? Kal toh koi aur aake bole ki vo Dayawanti Mehta hai aur aap jail se bhaagi mujrim. Tb kya aap maan lengi?" Neil as smart as he is handled the situation failing Daya's plan. And Daya realized how stupid of her it was to be here without any sound proof.
"Vaise Dayawanti ji aap keh rahi thi ki Avni dhokebaaz hai something and whats" Shweta came and started with her interrogation showing that she was ACP Neil's mom. "Tell tell. Vaise toh aap jataati hai ki aap apni poti se pyaar karti hai and now you doubting shouting why?" Shweta trapped Daya, unknowingly, in her own trap. Now Daya was really trapped answering this question is like telling them the ENTIRE STORY. No,she couldn't do that. She has to think of something very quickly and there she got another idea.
" Nai behenji, mai apni Avni ko bass vapis chahti hu aur mujhe pata hai meri Avni bachhi iss baar meri baat manegi. Vo shayad gussa hai par ye sunakar vo jaroor manegi. Vahi GAANA. And Avni stiffened. She knew what was coming. Neil who was holding her now sensed her tensing up.
"Aa leke chalu tujko ek aise des mai.." Dayawanti start singing the LORI. LORIwhich was Avni's strength yet her weakness. Avni froze on to her place she felt her knees going weak but still she held herself up. No, she cannot give up. SShe has to be strong for herself, for her Aman. Neil felt her shivering in his arms and he knew it. He has heard Avni humming this music and it was related to her Mumma. His grip went strong around her shoulders. Giving her support.
"Aa leke chalu tujhko ek aise des mai, milti hai jaha khushiya vaise bhess mai..." And Daya closed her mouth. She didn't know the entire lori and even Avni wasn't showing any sign of discomfort. That was it. Daya lost all her cool and started abusing her again saying things about Avni's mom and now Bebe stopped her and asked her to leave.
"Hume hamari Ananya bahu par Vishwas hai. Aap jaaiye yahase varna hume kuch galat karna hoga." She warned Daya and in no time time Daya was out with her Ananya Verma.
Here Avni couldn't take it anymore. She excused herself and left for her room.
" Tillu jaa bahu ko dekh. Vo darr gayi hogi aise achanak sab hua." Bebe was concerned. Neil nodded and ran for his room as he knew sge must be all shattered. He ran as fast as he could and reached his room "What the..Avni? Shit!" His room was completely ruined. Everything scattered on th floor. But what scared him more was that she wasn't there. "Avni?" He called out. "Avni tum andar ho na?" He knocked their bathroom's door as it was only place she could be. He knew it. She didn't want to show her weakness to anyone but, he has to be with her. For himself for he couldn't let her suffer alone anymore. He again knocked on the door this time giving it a light push. "Avni please open the door" he was all soft and the door was opened it was left ajar. May be she forgot to lock it or it didn't get lock properly. He heaved a sigh of relief but before entering he locked their room from inside as he did not sant anyone to see the condition of the room and went inside the bathroom and the sight in front of him paralyzed him. He felt a squeeze on his heart. Something cracked inside him. "Avni" he tried to call her out but it came out as a mere whisper. She was sitting on the floor. All wet as the shower was left on. Her face showed no emotion. It scared him a bit. Then his eyes fell on her wrist which were hugg her knees close to her chest. "Shit! Avniii?" He rushed towards her and sat beside her turning off the shower taking her wrist in his palms her palm had a deep cut and it was bleeding. She must have got it while throwing away things.' he thought and pulled her up in his arms and took ker out. He came out in their room and placed her on the sofa and grabbed the first aid box and was cleaning her wound now. His eyes never leaving her face. Waiting for her to react, to say something or at least wince as the cut was deeper and the antiseptic must be giving an burning sensation but she didn't even flinch. Daamm! He has to get her to speak. She needs to take it out of her system. THE PAIN. "Avni.. Avni pleas talk to me please. Let it come out. Your pain, yourtears. I know I always ask you not to cry, not yo get weak but, trust me today I want you to let it out. Neela aunty told me that you haven't cried your heart out since years after that incident. But please get it out. I am there. For you, with you. I promise I won't say anything." Tears threatenedto spill out of his eyes. He knew she doesn't cry in front of anyone not even her Neela Mumma then why woukd she, in front of him? But, still he wanted herto. Beca when it came to her he felt responsible.

She was shattered. It was after years she heard that lori. Even she herself never sang it. She wa afraid she will get weak. But today, she heard it from that lady. It stinged her when she heard that lori from her. She was under the shower as she knew Neil would come and she didn'twant him to see her like that, did she? No! She was so lost but still she could feel him around.

She could feel everything. But, she wasn't in a position to even react. So numb she was. Theb she heard him say, "Avni.. Avni pleas talk to me please. Let it come out. Your pain, yourtears. I know I always ask you not to cry, not yo get weak but, trust me today I want you to let it out. Neela aunty told me that you haven't cried your heart out since years after that incident. But please get it out. I am there. For you, with you. I promise I won't say anything."
Why was he doing this? Why?
He was making her feel weaker now. And she felt something wet on her cheeks. Tears. She realized. Shit! She was crying.
How? Why? In front of him? No!
Not even her Neela mumma has seen her crying and here she was actually crying. Tears flowing from her eyes she tried to stop. But she couldn't.
She felt him drying her hair with a towel. Why does he need to be so good to her.
NOONE, except Nanno, Neela mumma her Ayesha mumma and Ali had taken care of her. Been nice ti her and she was habitual now to the harsh taunts if the world. But here he was trying to soothe her. Being all nice and gentle towards her that she was scared. She then felt him placing soft kiss on her hair and that was it. She clutched his wrist and pulled him in front of her and fell in to his arms. Giving in into him. She cried. She cried her heart out. Pulling him closer, wetting his shirt, weeping then again crying loudly and all he did was hug her even tighter. Being silent the entire time caressingher hair. Making her feel that he is there and was going to be forever.
After what felt like a lifetime. She stopped crying. It was all out.

Her suffering
Everything
She felt so light. The weight she was carrying in her heart for so many years was gone. She pulled herself out of his embrace and looked up to see tears on his cheeks. ' Was he crying too? For me?' she thought. "Neil she whispered near his face he just smiled faintly and made her drink some water and got up without saying a word. He went towards the cupboard and opened her drawer and came to her again. He placed a piece of paper in palms and she was shocked. It was her mother's sketch made by her. She always drew her sketch whenever she missed her mother because keeping her picture was not safe for her plan.
But? How did he know? She never told him. She looked at him questioning and he said as if reading her eyes. That day when you drew it I saw you hugging a paper and keeping it in the drawer. I didn't wish to invade your privacy. But, I thought it might be a clue. I am sorry." He looked down. She was angry. He invaded her privacy but the way he said Sorry melted her heart instantly. She smiled and looked at him. "It's okay" she whispered. He smiled back. She then took the paper in her hand and caressed her mom's sketch and hummed.
"Aa leke chalu tujhko.." she started to sing the lori. She could sense his eyes widening first then intently listening to her. She continued.
"Aa leke chalu tujhko ek aise des mai
Milti hai jaha khushiya pariyo k bhes mai
Harr dard bhool jao yuhi khel khel mai
Milti hai jaha khushiya pariyo k bhes mai.." and she sang the whole Lori holding the sketch near her chest, close to her heart and resting her head on his lap. His hands on her forehead.
She sung it after years and now she felt all strong again. Ready to fight again.
