I don't know why but I get the feeling that yamini is a former shapshifting snake from a different clan who lost her powers as she decided to have a family with a human hence making her quite dangerous... She is probably the one told the other four killers about the naagmani. What do you'll say?

Nah..that truth is already revealed. She is not a shape shifting snake. She is Ritik's paternal aunt instead. You will see when you catch up to the episodes.

Yes but she his father's step sister right?? So yeah I'm still not sure if their blood relatives as such.

You never know with this show..it's possible since Yamini ka new bg score says something about she being poisonous. 😆

True but then if she actually turns out to be a poisonous naagin then it would somehow be way too similar to the naagin that used to air on Zeetv where the protagonist's mother in law was also revealed to be a naagin towards the end who kills the protagonist and begins to torment her children.

Yup there was a show like that on Zeetv with Sayantani Ghosh as the female lead(Amrita who is a naagin seeking revenge against her parents killers), Aruna Irani(as Triveni Mother of one of the killers, FL's MIL also a naagin and main antagonist who becomes a human but then gets her powers back due to the naagmani) and Sachin Shroff ( ML who is Amrita's husband and Triveni's son). So yeah if you were to ask me then yes I would say the plot is very similar but the storytelling and narrative of the colors version is much better compared to the Zeetv version which was way too simple. If your wondering what the name of the show is it's Naaginn waadon ki agnipariksha

She could be the naagin in the story that Shesha gave Shivanya to read, in which she falls in love with a human. She could be that naagin and maybe that's why the last few pages were torn...
