Exactly that's what I think.

She couldn't forgive Ritwik because it reminds her of d pain her mother went through, loving a human.

That's why she says history will repeat itself. She thinks Ritwik will ultimately betray and ditch Shivanya , once he comes to know that Shivanya is Naagin , just like happened to her mother.

Why won't it make any sense ?? It makes the most sense infact . Much more sense than any old love story of hers does. Because if she's taking revenge for her own pain , then she's selfish. That means she lacks the strength to forgive n move on. Which I don't want.

On the other hand , what can be a purer and more selfless motive than to avenge your parent .

And who says Shivanya is unaware of it ?? Of course she knows , what is the motive behind Sesha's obsession for revenge that's why she doesn't hesitate to include her in any mission even when it causes risk of Sesha's life , because she knows very well Sesha is doing this as much for herself as for Shivanya.

It's obvious now after yesterday's episode , that Sesha hasn't acquired Naagin power by meditation for a 100 years. She's in fact a born Naagin exactly like Shivanya.

I feel writers are retconing some parts. More in the coming episodes.

I want to see Sesha and Shivanya's mothers story. Those two sisters. How was their relation ?? How was Sesha's dad ?? Did Sesha's mom know that her sister and BIL were brutally killed by Anky n co. ?? Did she try to take revenge ?? Or was she dead by the time Anky n co. came to kill Shivanya's parents ??

So many new questions .
