Gosh! There's SOMETHING about this girl! Maybe the way she's portrayed by Mouni? Or maybe the naivety mixed with that anger, that passion! Like damn, giiirl! She's absolutely stunning, no doubt! But to a characters there is more than looks, and in Shivanya, there's that mysterious aura that's filled with such innocence yet so much courage and confidence! For each bit of anger, there's that calm that surrounds her and for each bit of that passion, there's so much compassion filled in her. Every single time, I watch her on-screen, I'm simply mesmerised by her beauty and the way Mouni portrays her; she completely does justice to the character which is really hard to find in today's actresses; most of them today are of the thinking ''chalo good looks hain, bante hai actor'', or maybe that's the casting people's fault, but nope, you can't find that fault here because Mouni is the perfect Shivanya! She portrays the character so damn well!
Shivanya as a character, is just so endearing, she can be annoying with the innocence factor that surrounds her sometimes, but that's also her pull, IMO. I can see what attracts Ritik to her, she's beautiful inside and out. Her scenes with Ritik are the best! They make such a lovely pair, Ritik with his humor, and Shivanya, with her serene nature. And I really appreciate Ritik as a character, he's different from what we see in today's world of television, them typical angry-young-men. He can be serious when the situation demands it, but there's a different side of him with his family and especially Shivanya! Which adds more to his character. I totally approve and ship THIS ship! How can you not!? That chemistry and the different personalities that form them as such good characters, the cards that destiny has played which bounds them in a forbidden relationship.. it's all a delicious recipe for a TV show!
Now all I ask of Ekta is to let the characters be true to themselves and may this show never lose the pull that attracts viewers! This show has started out really good and I'm looking forward to finding out what it has in store for us, viewers! :D x
