After a point, every show has to resort to some tactics. When the initial shock wore off, I was prepared to watch everything as long as the VaNi date came after that. Heck, I was even ok if they spent the entire weekend with Veer still under the influence and Bani trying to figure it out or whatever... then gave us the VaNi date the next weekend. It would have made it worth the wait.

I know whatever happens, VaNi will still be endgame. But damn.... two things are still bothering me now. Firstly, despite the discussions on the forum and jokes, I wasn't really expecting them to be having an actual SR. An intimate date, maybe a first kiss but not an SR! I felt it was too early and also wanted Bani to properly confess to Veer before they took the next step. That hope seems to have gone down the drain as the promos showed that they did in fact consummate. It feels sudden and too quick. The second thing is the same as what you said. The fact that the SR will have happened under these conditions 🥱. Of course, they would have to continue the story and have some problem to deal with even after the SR. Imo, they could still have dealt with it better. A couple's consummation is a milestone, especially in an ITV love story. Both of them should have been into it and felt those emotions Especially after everything Veer went through and the patience he showed waiting for Bani to reciprocate. He should have been able to revel in the feelings of his love bearing fruit - to enjoy the sweet moments before and after. Right now it feels like the memory is ....tainted with THIS.

I can only hope for a miracle and wish it doesn't turn out to be an SR or whatever. If they are gonna ruin it like that... they better give us a proper second one. I feel cheated. 🥺 The only solace is knowing Veer never strayed or even doubted Bani, he was not in his senses. If that were not the case, it would have been destroying the Veer we know.

Exactly. This. Is. Not. Veer. They know they couldn’t ruin veer so they did this track. But for me they haven’t ruined Veer they are just attempting to make baani more mahaan

But this consummation is so messed up. Firstly, the couple in question has not even progressed so far to reach the point of consummation. And now all of a sudden there is consummation.

Then there is confusion about hypnotism. If he is hypnotized by the use of moonlight, how does Veeranshu say that whatever happened last night was a lie. I don't get the head or tail of this hypnotic spell. Why is this termed as "Naagin ko mila sabse bada dhokha". What the hell are they trying to show? It is so misleading and confusing.

It seems unlikely that the consummation did not happen, and they spoiled the essence of such a crucial step in the VAni equation. I mean how would they make up for this? And now we have 2 weddings to look forward to, which won't happen of course, but God knows what is the context behind these weddings.

Yess. I have also been watching ITV for enough years to know that it would foolish of us to think that any show will not adopt these at some point. They need the TRPs so fair enough.

@Bold Exactly. It feels like it is suddenly being rushed for god knows what. I was really enjoying the pace at which VaNi were going. The most I was going for was really hot date and was looking forward to it. We were supposed to be excited for the SR ... it doesn't feel the same anymore. Yeah. I am not seeing how this is going to be made up either. Did Surbhi foresee this ruckus isiliye put up that picture pehle se as a disclaimer? lol

This whole "sabse bada dhoka" is also such a gimmick. But its actually pretty silly of them. The viewers know Veer is already influenced since the Sunday episode. Plus they even show him with those purple eyes in the promo itself. So who exactly were they trying to fool? 🤪 The only question now is how exactly this hypnosis thing will work before, during and after the SR. Does he go in and out of that state or what. The lie thing though, he was probably implying that the night meant nothing to him aka the love was a 'lie'.

True. And what dhokha are they talking about? It's not that Veeranshu has slept with her and left her at the altar. They are already married. And I don't get how this hypnotic spell works. Does it just get activated at random times of the day or what? Ye kya bakwaasi hai. Kuch samajh nahi aaya mujhko

It is that track only. Bani stepping up to save her husband. Cause the promo shows that she is utterly confused. Calling their special night a lie and leaving her right there, that is confusing. I hope they show Bani using her brains. Cause these are those tracks where the "heroine" is the only person with a functioning brain, and the rest all have brain fog. I want to know the context of both weddings and how will they be stopped? As in will, Veeranshu stop both, or something else will happen?
