Honestly, Veer’s constant obsession was getting on my nerves lately only because Bani wasn’t reciprocating his feelings. It was extremely painful to see the repetitive bickering and constant degrading. I am glad writers took the criticism seriously and initiated the very much needed positive shades in both of them. We connected with Veeranshu for a lot of reasons in the past. Now with his tender side and obviously the very thoughtfulness of him to leave Bani alone was a discreet gesture from him. I wasn’t sure how Veer would hold himself back with his obsession, but that mother angle did bring a warm-hearted, sensitive and a very compassionate guy which was concealed behind his “villain” facade.Originally posted by: libran90
Come on, just because Veeranshu has a caring and emotional side, doesn't mean he loses his edge yaar. You can't be macho and obsessive all the time. I mean few were complaining that Veeranshu should distance himself, stop his "sweetheart" chants, now some are saying he is not paying attention to Bani. I mean cut the boy some slack😆. He is still sanki Veeranshu Singhania, but the guy has his shades. Obsession Aakesh pe sajta tha, kyunki woh 1-2 episodes ke liye tha and he died with that obsession. Lekin, we have to see Veeranshu every day as a polished version of Aakesh. Obsession is a core trait of his personality, but cannot be a driving factor. He will have other shades. And the same goes for Bani. Why do people find it so hard to connect with her? Kyunki uska koi emotional response time hai hi nahi. Her emotions are also very suppressed, so woh jab bahaar nikal ke aayega, tab jaake connect karenge na. I am happy with these different shades and steady progression. But romance, yes that is gonna be really slow.😆
Moreover, Veer hasn’t changed, he has taken a different route to approach Bani. His ways of flirting with her has resurfaced in more like teasing. Veer still acts savage towards Jay and we would probably see more of that next week when Jay drags Bani away & VAni on the terrace confronting something. It’s time for Bani to feel genuinely want to be with him. She needs to feel the same urge. You know I always find romance in such situation to be more intense because the couple gets towards the physical tension as it elevates the desire to be together, yet you can’t because the force of consummation is not perfectly there. Lol!
