Please don’t get me wrong. I am here to understand the difference between criticizing and spreading negativity?Originally posted by: gurl-enchanted
Kaha tha sabr rakh lo sab log. Let the makers get to it. Par sab ko zyada hi negatively react karna tha just one episode pe 😆 Maine toh forum hi check karna bandh diya for some days because of the whole negativity.
This sequence was shot way before the crazy criticism on this forum. They know where they want to take this story. Thoda trust humko bhi rakhna chahiye instead of bashing immediately.
Jaise Veer se breathing space maangte ho, thoda makers ko bhi de diya karo breathing space to showcase their vision
“Negativity is general. It creates an overall atmosphere. Everything about something is wrong.
A subset of negativity, criticism is narrow. Its disapproval is about a specific fault, mistake or aspect. Its value lies in the suggestion that if you could fix the wrong aspect, it could improve the idea, potentially making it a great idea.”
Reviews comes after every episode regardless of where the story is heading. We all know Vani will end up together. Does that mean we need to endure every inconsistency in characters & don’t say a word or convey it to the writers to help them understand what fans are looking for because we know Vani is the end game? A lot of the reviews did mention that the story might change for next week, but what they are given at each particular episodes, people would like to discourse on it. Whether it’s good/bad hence why we are all here. We have given good reviews on great episodes too. Applauded the story for its great content whenever it was shown. Recently, when Mukta posted the video, we did acknowledge their efforts. Not everything about Naagin is wrong.
I think reviews would rather help them out rectifying their mistakes & make it better for better trp. On the other hand, TV audience would not think twice before switching to another channel looking for something more meaningful to watch if they are given repetitive sequence with just added comedy.
Yes some fans might go over board and spread negativity, but not everyone considers that. Some have specific ways of putting across their reviews in a decent manner.

This is why I have alwayts liked Annum. Jab hum pagalon ki tarha apna khoon jala rahe hotay hai ... yeh peechay se aake araaam se kaam ki baat bol ke jayegi. Always the voice of reason 🤗
The highlighted bit .. 100% sem to sem dil ki baat.
We know VAni is endgame .. shaadi huyi hai so duhhh,,, but by butchering the charcters youre ruining the feel of the story for us. Phir end mein sath ho ya na ho kya fark parhta ?
Hey, it’s not about conveying things in an indecent or aggressive manner at all. There are lots of intelligent pieces of writing here. I won’t call anyone a negative person for expressing their views. But it becomes overwhelming to read disappointed and angry views again and again throughout the week.
Not going to debate on the dictionary definition of certain words. Since you asked and wanted to understand, it’s quite straightforward for me personally. Since Sunday, majority on the forum have been criticising and debating the things they found wrong on loop. It gets draining to read it after a point in every post and every second comment. I visit other forums too and a lot of shows have more flaws than I can count. This is ITV after all, but people find a way move on to other topics, create fun creations, reminisce about past amazing episodes etc. There is more balance, which is missing for me here.
The fun of being a participant dissipates when the conversation doesn’t move forward and topic after topic says the same thing in different words. All are unhappy and everyone wants a different approach than the last critique. Hence, I decided to avoid visiting the forum at these times because it drains me to read such comments beyond a point.
Let’s just say that if the makers truly started following what each and every comment on the forum said, they would be more confused than Bani 😆

Let's put it this way .. Sunday ka episode itna ZABARDAST gand thaa .. no one could think of any happy memories. That one episode undid weeks worth of story line and progression .. not that there was much to begin with. Normally after I'm done with the latest episode I'd go back to the older ones .. go through my favourite scenes .. but Sunday was such trasshhhhh I haven't touched the Naagin folder since then. I've been watching Netflix. To detox.
Netflix is love, bro. Usko detox centre hi bana diya 😆
Yaar, mera tolerance is high for ITV shows. So logon ko jitna gand laga, mujhe utna nahi laga. It looked like a filler episode to me at max. Discuss karna toh karo for sure jam ke (that’s why we are on a forum) but aage bhi toh badho after a day or two, so that there is balance.
Somehow I have the belief that the makers are handling things a bit more sensitively than they have with other past seasons of Naagin. They still see a good business opportunity here (especially with the Naagin movie trilogy in the pipeline) and the storyline is better than it has ever been for the Naagin series.
Ups and downs toh honge at times because it’s ITV. But the atmosphere shouldn’t get so upsetting so quickly as per me.

Yaar, the reason why I added the dictionary part because I have been reading “negative” not only here, but mostly on Twitter. It wasn’t added specifically at you, most definitely not, because I have seen your posts here phele se. I was just mentally exhausted to see why people are saying this even after many were just stating their opinions in the polite way possible.
I agree to the part that people should have moved on after criticizing on Sunday. We addressed our issues, stated our point of views, and some even began to be hopeful for next week(myself). However, if I am not mistaken, people started calling “negativity negativity” on the day of the episode being aired not just here, even on twitter. Considering Naagin airs only two days, people will only have those two episodes to talk about over the course of one week until the new episode comes out. I am sure agar ye daily soap hota, people would have moved on after every episode😆
Who wouldn’t want their serial and the couple to top the trp charts? We criticize Bani because we want to see her serving with the best content. We instigate the writers to do their best, keeping in mind that we shouldn’t cross the thin line between negativity and criticism.
In fact, everyone loved, adored, gone Gaga over Saturday’s episode because it had depth. There was immense growth in Bani and no one ignored that. We acknowledged it completely. You can even find me gushing over on Twitter too lol!
I think Sunday’s episode was probably the only episode in the last 20+ episodes we have already seen considered to be the worst of all. Why? Because everyone expected A LOT from that one specific revelation. Bani as Naagin ka disclosure and Veer recollecting all about his Satyug Akesh. And then him containing specific powers. All of that was suppose to hold weight, it would have been a major turning point, people expected Veer and Bani to had heart to heart conversation even if it was for little bit. I can repeat this for a lot of people out there who thinks we expect Bani to fall in love instantly. ABSOLUTELY NOT! Can she be considerate at least? None of that happened in Sunday’s episode. Not going to go into details and would decide to let it go now. The damage is done, however with the upcoming track, we can hope the makers are able to restore the missing piece back in the story. Looking forward to it.😃
I think Naagin 5 would still be the best season of all because it has Sharad and Surbhi and their amazing characteristics including their brilliant chemistry Bold, sassy, fierce and independent Veer Bani and their drool worthy nok jhok. 😆 Dont think I would ever want to watch the next season of Naagin now. This would be it for me.

I know. I liked Ritvik and Shivanya. Their jodi was really good. All the Naagin jodis were good but Vani has a different place in my heart.
Their chemistry is so brilliant and breathtaking. Their conversations are so intriguing and drool worthy. Jis tarah se Veer Bani se pyaar karta hai, waise main TV pe kabhi nahi dekha. Veer ka cool, confident and charming attitude. Bani ka fierce-ness, stubbornness aur uska aag. The way I just melt in their sizzling chemistry.
Sharad and Surabhi's amazing acting. The rest cast also are so amazing at their characters. I really loved Mayuri's character. She was a villain but has that sass which not many villains have.
I would have high standards from the next season of Naagin. No offense to anyone but I didn't feel that attached to the previous season. I didn't watch Season 2 and Season 3 completely but saw episodes here and there but Season 4 ka ek bhi episode nahi dekh payi. Season 5 ne aisa kiya ki it gave me the same feeling as Season 1. The way I used to watch every single episode.
Abh next season se aur bhi expections hongi ki at least it will match this season's amazingness.

Tumhari yeh baat padh ke hi mujhe pata chala ki log Twitter pe abhi bhi active hain 😆 I thought Instagram is the main adda for all fan theories and criticisms. No clue what’s happening there but I would love to see the forum active with amazing VMs and edits, and different happy wali fan theories too.

See, this part is undeniable ki weekly do hi episode hain to talk about. But I am sure it’s exhausting even for those who agree with the unhappy comments. It’s difficult to enjoy the same discussion on loop. Tum log itne fun log ho yaar usually. Difficult to digest for me to see you all so upset.

Fair enough. This is a forum to discuss things after all. A proper critique is necessary. I just seek a balance, so that one episode does not set the tone for the whole week.

Ek baat batao.. weren’t you expecting some inconsistencies like this anyway? Saturday ka episode was also rushed but there was progression. Sunday wala was weird but intention samajh aa gaya ki gaadi chal padi hai.
Indian TV and Ekta ke shows mein yeh editing issues and storyline mishaps hote rehte hain. Mind mein maine aise slots allot kar rakhe hain already, which prevents me from setting a hamesha wali high quality execution ki expectation 😆
