Okay, okay, okay...Happy days are here again🥳 cause, first and foremost, Veeranshu Singhania is back. And secondly, Happy Dussehra to everyone...and Shubho Bijoya to all my Bengali babes - Dwipi, Shirsha, Ahili, and those as well whom I don't know on a first-name basis. So, without wasting too much time, here goes my take.
Highlights - Yayyy!👍🏼
Gharwali's Sherlockgiri - Matbal, typical biwi ban gayi hai Bani😆. Muh par, "Main teri dushman, dushman tu mera", and dimaag me, "Ungli main angoothi, angoothi me nagina"😆. Matlab uska 'maar do' ka scene banta usse pehle gharwali activate ho gayi jiski nazar gayi hand and then ungli pe, aur tai tai phisss ho gayi Jai ke plan ka, kyunku Bani ne maari googly. She may say that she doesn't care, but she remembers his actions, his words. Infact, she has an unconscious trust in certain things about Veer, firstly Veer will protect her at all costs, second, Veer will never remove that ring because he believes in this marriage. And frankly, so does she. Otherwise, it would not come to her mind to believe that. Did you guys see that? That is Naageshwari slowly losing her grip on Bani, cause whatever happened over the weekend was only and only Bani, uh uh, Veeranshu Singhania's Bani. Hmmm, baby steps, not too close and not too far. Let's see how this goes.
Meera's silent courage - Okay, I agree there is a certain mystery surrounding her character. But that does not mean that it has to be negative. She could be a positive character as well. She could be a human belonging to a special clan, she could be a Naagin, she could be just a simple human. Cause anyway there are too many supernatural creatures in the show. They could easily keep her a human. Woh kahawat hai na, "Shaant pani gehra hota hai". Meera is like that. On the surface, she appears as docile and calm, and beneath that surface, is a lot of courage, patience, and sensibility. She is complete temperance to Bani's otherwise volatile persona like Ganga was to Parvati. You know Kalyug hai to har kirdaar twisted hai, so don't take it literally, it is just my interpretation.
Shakura's shakiragiri - This was for you Dwipi😆. Okay, the guy has the guts to stand up to Veeranshu Singhania and fight him to take his wife. I mean isse kehte hai "kaate ki takkar". Kahaan apna Shakura, aur kahaan apna doodhwala. Peet peeche vaar kiye bina raha nahi jaata usse. Khair, manna padega, dum tha usme, seena thok ke maidaan pe utra and he faced Veer head-on, unlike Jai. Although I will miss DD and hope he returns for an Aakesh cameo (pleajjj makers), but Shakura was a memorable character and he will go down in the line of villains, who actually justified himself as a villain in someone else's story. RIP Shakura. We love you DD.❤️But kudos to Veer's oneliners, "Abbe tu Shakura ho ya gutter ka kuda".🤣
Veer, Shiv & Ram - Well, I have interpreted Veer many times as Shiv - someone who is off-beat, unconventional, shamshaanvasi, always high, quirky, different. Veer is totally Shiv. And we have Bani - conventional gharelu girl but headstrong, volatile and independent person, typical Shakti. Veer was Shiv today for his Shakti as well as Ram for his Sita. See, Veer has never tried to inhibit Bani's persona. He has always allowed her to take the lead, and only and only stepped in, when absolutely necessary. And that is the Shiv aspect speaking. That man was at his weakest, he was at his worst, and he still refused to utilize his supernatural strength there. You know why? Because a Cheel wasn't fighting a Cheel. A husband was fighting for his wife, her dignity, her respect. And that part was Ram. Ram was an ordinary mortal bound by his mortality, in spite of being an avatar and he fought for Sita, staying within those limitations and defeated Ravan, who was more powerful than him. Shakura was the Ravan defeated by Ram on a holy ground with Shiv and his trishul safeguarding both Bani and Veer. Veeranshu Singhania is a twisted Ram and a typical Shiv. I love this character.
Okay, so for once this weekend had nothing to pinpoint anything negative in my opinion. I enjoyed the episodes thoroughly over the weekend. No criticisms for this week. At least, not for me.
Observations & Predictions:
Firstly, I am sure Veer remembers his identity as Aakesh. Because uske behaviour me ek ajeeb si shaanti thi, jaise saare sawalon ke jawaab mil gaye ho. Like now he knows how to handle his wife. Bani wanted to clarify, but he just refused to hear clarifications. Frankly, she goes on loop, kaun ek hi baat sunega roz roz. Veer ko sab yaad hai. Lekin shayad he is keeping quite about the past and his supernatural identity, because Bani hasn't come clean and also he isn't sure whether she remembers her past or not. His dialogues had a dual meaning to them. When Bani asked why to promise not to meet Jai, "Wajah to hazaar hai lekin tumhare liye itna hi kaafi hai ki tum shaadishuda ho". Then when he told Ballu that, "Aapne usko Veer kaise samajh liya jab ki uski shakl alag thi." His attempts are very deliberate. Additionally, somewhere I felt uske andar jo tadap hai na for Bani, woh thoda thanda ho gaya hai. The intensity of his feelings were like volcanic lava, but kaise achanak se ekdum shaant pani ho gaya hai. Something has clicked with Veer, especially after the Shakura kaand.
As always, Veer is Shiv. He can guide Bani, but sab kuch ka pata usko khud lagana padega, cause he knows she would not believe him. Kya Veeranshu? Tu bhi Bholenath ki tarah ho gaya, hain. Ek to koi uss madbuddhi ki help nahi karta, aur tune bhi Bholenath and Guruma gang join kar liya hai, useful jawaab na dene ki. Tera kya karun me re. Underestimate mat kar gharwali ko, apne sawalon ke jawaab bhi dhund legi, aur kisi din tere sawalon ke jawaab bhi nikal legi, dekh lena.
Balwant, is not the real father. period. Kya makers?? Wahi 70s ka locha laaye ho. Asli maa baap qaid me, and sikka kisi aur ka chal raha hai. See, I had mentioned previously, that reincarnations never guarantee same relations. Karmo ke phal ke hisaab se janam hota hai. Jab woh Cheelraj tha, tab uske bahut saare kaale kartut rahe honge, isliye he is not Cheelraj. But he could be like a minion to the real Cheelraj and Cheelrani. Now, I understand why Teer was kept closed. Kyunki I feel he knew, and isliye usko pagal banake band rakha jata tha. And this also proves why is Veer so different from the other brothers. Kyunki Balwant ka beta hai Tapish, and Pawan ke bete hai Daksh, Monil and Pankaj, and they aren't even family. But his brothers surely love the guy, now is that because he is Cheelon ka Rajkumar or because they have that brotherly bond. Let's see, whether these brothers truly become brothers of another mother or rivals. I think Veer's parents were Shivbhakts and had no enmity with Naagvanshis, Ballu and Shukla ne raita phailaya hai. I think Adi Naagin will only sort this mess out.
Among the parents, the mother seems to stronger. It could be that the Cheels don't have a formal king, but a queen and her prince consort. Remember Yamini was Ritik's aunt. It could be Balwant is the brother to Cheelrani, whose sons are Veer and Teer. Infact, ye bhi ho sakta hai, ki junior Cheels saare ke saare, Cheelrani ke bete ho, and Balwant and Pawan never married. You never know. Matlab yahaan reverse kar diya ho. Cheelo ke ghar me kisi bhi aurat ke na hone ki yahi wajah ho sakti hai, that Balwant was not given the position of King, because his sister had superior qualities as a ruler, and hence he has a problem with women. Matlab Balwant bhi Jai ki tarah doodhwala nikla. hey bhagwan
Ye Jai ka kaand kab expose hoga who knows, but ye jo Ponky and Mayuri ka vivah ka natak hai ye kab khatm hoga? Hoga bhi ya nahi? Adi Naagin, kya kar rahi ho. Kuch to karo. Bahut din ho gaye kisiko na thoke huye. Ab to shubh shashigram karo. Kisiko to tapkayo. Pata nahi kiska patta katega. Kuch bhi samajh nahi aa raha.
Well, this time the take is shorter than I expected but has all that I enjoyed and observed. So, please share your views and comments!
