Unable to connect with the characters

Today's episode seemed really sloppy. Absolutely unable to connect to the character of Jay. Mohit was really good in the last episode. But I kind of find all his expressions similar today. Be it angry, worried , confusion. Looks too meek and doesn't bring the aura of Naagin's partner :(

Then comes veer's brother. He could smell naagin when Naina came. But couldn't smell naagin when Bani was there ! How come. Even veer doesn't understand even when he was so close to her. Cheel's are supposed to be sharp, right ?

I haven't seen a dumber naagin than Naina. I would very much liked Anjum as a sidekick to Bani. She looked brilliant in that one scene .

This season had such a gripping story and beginning. And I know every story takes time to build. And we have seen enough nonsense in last 4 season. But somehow never felt disconnected. But this time, just not able to connect.

High time jay's expressions should be improved

rest are not that much imp character so i am not bothering but mohit will be there as lead so he should work on .. today his nag look has revealed hope ab kuch accha mile

True ! I love Mohit when he is being his normal self. But just not the right one for Naagin lead :(

I find it really hilarious when the cheek could smell Naina as a naagin..but not Bani. I mean what was that 🤦

I don't think the story taking time to 'build' works for the Naagin franchise much. Infact it's the reverse. Since it's a finite series , it picks up the pace within the first two weeks. Actually the beginning of Naagin is thrilling. Then eventually it becomes a mandli of villains trying to harm the Naagin and her love. I was fond of the reincarnation , love triangle concept , cheel naagin one. But it's just not working. The storyline is not gripping enough , the equation between the couple is not pulling you into it. There's a missing link.

Like there has to be one particular reason to tune into the show at 8. But for me there's none.
