Why are you all worked up? This post is not meant to be offensive. This is just what I think of it, everyone has different opinions.

The thing is the reasons you have given like, there are not too many characters, Or too many villains, according to me last season there were way too many villains, and so was it in season 2, however those seasons sucked the most especially season 4 which dipped and ruined the reputation of the Naagin series. Too much negativity tends to turn off the viewers.

Moreover already we have the cheels, there’s no need for any more villains. In season 1 there were only six or seven villains, with Avantika added late, season 3 was overcrowded with villains too but the lead couple was the saving grace. When the show gets overcrowded, it becomes hard to focus on the main story, plus there’s a pandemic going on, casting too many people just for the background does not make any sense when social distancing is to be kept in mind.

I personally like this season better thans S2 and S4. I think the FL shares a great chemistry with both the leads , one is instant and another is subtle. The storyline is a little different from the previous seasons so I am looking forward to it.

But I get what you're saying , I know a handful of Naagin fans who are missing the " og naagin vibes ". It feels like a different show , the Naagin feels are nowhere to be found. Fair enough. Let's hope it gets better , I either want it to be a completely new concept with actual good writing or if they're deciding to rinse & repeat they should stick to S1 or S3 pattern.

Welcome to the forum by the way !

I think people are forgetting that N5 is reverse mode it focus where it first started even before N1 so yes there ought to be little villains as the clash is b/w the first aadhi naagin and cheels, N1 N2 N3 N4 is just additional N5 is where it all started and history being repeated so there are little villains at the moment

to many villains just take away the charm of the show like S2 and S3 i got an headache with too many villains that deprived from the main story

The show isn't giving the typical Naagin vibe yes but that is what I love about it so far even though we know some tracks will be a raise and repeat. It's looking more like an American fantasy show, I love them to keep it subtle and not go too over dramatic.

I want them to maintain the balance and the story gets better instead of worse, Let's see!

I feel like you are used to the previously crowded seasons, that's why you perhaps feel that way. In fact one of the things I'm liking is that there seems to be less in the name of excess characters... ok, so veer's little cheel gang seem excessive a little, but it's justified given they are meant to be a supernatural clan so they want to show more cheels in veer's family, but given the show has just started, I can already predict more characters will come rolling in soon enough. Ekta cannot help herself 🤣

Agreed! This season definitely feels different from past seasons, and that's why I'm liking it.

Now don’t get me wrong, the story is okay so far but the cast is just boring and there are not many villains. For me, Naagin 3 had the best cast, there were many characters with different personalities. I liked the first episode until the 3rd episode which got boring. There’s also not many villains, so far we have just seen the cheels. I want to see more of a big family wala story. Also the sets are not great. I do not like the house of the cheels but Jay’s house looks good. I honestly am disappointed with this season because I expected a lot but I’ll just have to see how it ends as.

i totally totally agree with you!!!

I also don’t like Naagin5

Maybe it will get better. Everyone is all like this season is good bla bla.. it just because of the population of surbhi every shows she is in it.. uff man..

Season 1 was the best 2 shit.. didn’t watched it.

3 and 4 was good and the chemistry was fore between the leads!! 🔥 Would loved to see more of brindev soo disappointing their ending was also shit.. bravo 👏🏼 to Ekta man... And and also feeling bad for jay aka Mohit.. people are hating him that poor thing!❤️
theg are all like he isn’t useful at all.. give the man a chance.. surbhi wasn’t even herself perfect for the role of ishani it was after sometime she got in the role of ishani so chill people and stop hating..
