Remember Vikrant and Bella scene in the Haveli. When Vikrant had just returned from his apparent death.

He said to Bella that he was his soulmate. That he was immuned to Bella's poison.

Then Bella said that even Mahir was immuned. And that Aghori Baba said that he is her jeevan saathi.

So, apparently soulmate can be changed according to changes in feelings.

Soulmate is ONE, true love can be MANY.

Writer confirmed soulmate without aghoribaba during touching crown session. But writer is on high that brought memory loss with so many mess.

Not sure how relevant this is but there's this Korean drama in which a girl has a soulmate and a future husband but they are two different people. Basically, her soulmate was her first love but she wasn't destined to marry him because she wasn't in love with him (anymore). Therefore, she married the man she did love but the first love remained her soulmate. This follows the line of thought that there can be many loves but only one soulmate.

They seem to be showing something different here, though. They seem to be showing that soulmates change as quickly as clothes do. Vik was Ruhi's soulmate, Mahir was Bela's, and if she changes her name again, maybe Adi will end up being her next soulmate. She'll probably get another soulmate without another name change, anyway.

I don't believe in soulmates anyway but I rather prefer the way the k-drama handled it over the way Naagin 3 is.
