You know... the main audience of TV are dadii and nanii aged ladies... because they are very loyal viewers. The most successful shows today are Kumkumbhagyaa ,YRKKH and Kundalibhagyaa. Those shows drag the same track for months and show same things again and again. Still they are at the top even after running for five( KKB) and eight(YRKKH) years. The reason is that their audience comprises of mainly senior ladies who watch the shows regularly no matter what. In KKB and KB the tracks are never ending, the story doesn't move at all...still the numbers are great.

But KKB? KDB? How? Just how? I tried to see the appeal once n couldn't sit through more than 5 minutes. Nothing happens, ever. Who wastes half an hour everyday for 7-8 years just to see...nothing?!😆 Is that some sort of meditation technique to blank your mind or something?

As for supernatural, I don't know why audience act like it's regressive shit when they drool over Edwards and Damons... Just because it's desi you've to trash it. Of course, the production values are top notch in west, there desi TV is a joke but to TELL supernatural stories is not wrong unless you want to monopolize the market with repetition which colors is doing now...

Raj Baddans tweet was correct. Though I disagree with him about good shows shutting down... The last time REAL good shows shut down are when YRF shows got shut down. That was truly a phase where audience could've welcomed change and quality but they let it go.

YRKKH is bad too. People are always in tension in that show and take offence about very small things. The bahu then tries to mend everything. In KKB Tanu and Aliya keep trying to killl Pragya...that's all they show. In KB the same track is stuck since one and a half year. The thing is, senior ladies watch these shows happily so trp keeps coming. They don't get bored of seeing the same thing again again. If something clicks with them, then the show is sorted for years.
